Intrater sent a report on the IDF Preemptive bombing of strategic sites in
Lebanon when IDF intelligence saw the deployment of Hezballah forces starting
an attack in the early hours before sunrise on Sunday 8/25. The 100 IDF fighter
jets destroyed 270 targets of Hezballah attackers and was deemed a great
success. As quoted above, Asher sees the current war not only in military and
political terms, but “it has dimensions which are psychological, spiritual,
informational, angelic, and even apocalyptic.”
DD: Certainly most ministries in Israel DO equate this
with the prophetic scriptures speaking of the aspects leading up to the
apocalyptic conclusion – and they are in the best position to understand that
being in the center of what prophetic scripture says will unfold…is unfolding.
As Asher said, our prayers “for God’s will to be done in this multi-tiered war”
is so necessary.
The depth of misinformation and
deceit from the nations is so great – truly only those who align with God’s
will over these matters can understand that it is not Israel’s fault
that a widening war engagement that will continue to other regions. Still there
is the spiritual harvest going on – not only in Israel among Jews, but also
among Arabs in Gaza, Iranians, and will also begin to multiply in the West Bank
and Lebanon. God is not with Israel militarily to destroy those who will
come to faith in other Middle Eastern nations but He is giving Israel
victory over terrorist enemies close by – the terrorist proxies for nations like
Iran who fund them. These Israeli victories over their enemies become a witness
to many people across the Middle East who will recognize the god of Islamist
terrorists is NOT prevailing against the God of Israel. Some will see this and
be drawn to the One True God. Even as the uncertainity and stress of war drive
many Israelis to awaken to their own Messiah. All things will work together for
God’s will in the end.

Avner Boskey, whose prophetic insight works well with his excellent historical
research and ability to weave together the things of history of great
significance to us today, sends an article that opens with a reference to
Rasputin the “great and insidious influence as
a ‘power behind the throne’ in Tsarist Russia’s disintegration. (Avner writes
so well!). The article, “Pulling the
strings in the Middle East” goes into “the
roomful of mirrors known as the Middle East, there are many countries led by
aspiring Rasputins, each one seeking to hornswoggle and hoodwink his neighbors.
Most of today’s players are attempting to pull the strings on each other, all
the while not realizing that they are being exploited and possibly
out-maneuvered by the very parties they themselves are trying to unscrupulously
manipulate. Here are two out of many recent examples which touch on modern
Middle Eastern dynamics.”
Avner also gives his account of
waking up at 4 am on Monday 8/25 and before the hour was up hearing the
beginning of the IDF fighter jets screaming in the morning sky toward Lebanon.
He writes in this article "You will devise an evil plan against the land
of unwalled villages" that “this round of hostilities is not the
end of the process here. It is merely the opening shot of a cunningly crafted
Iranian gambit in the Lebanese theater.
“Will
Hezbollah step back from the brink? Will Israel move to decisively throttle
her military enemies who have been trying to put a chokehold on the Jewish
state since 1982? Will the 40,000 or so American troops positioned on
destroyers, frigates and aircraft carriers from Mediterranean waters to the
Persian Gulf be either an effective deterrent or attack force, restraining
Iran’s jihadi terror tentacles from wreaking damage on the Jewish state?
This
‘state-in-the-process-of-restoration’ is what Ezekiel’s Last Days vision
described in chapters 38 and
39 – the lead-in to the War of Gog and Magog.” Click the link to get his prayer

Guy Cohen of the Harvest of
Asher write, “Considering all that
is happening in the world today from every aspect of society, as well as the
events surrounding and connected to Israel, one might begin to ask where we are
in the events written about the end times. Reading Revelation 13:4, I
understand that mankind worships power…. We also understand that during this
period Believers in Yeshua will be in the midst of the events we call the end
times.
So how
are we as believers in Yeshua to be victorious during these times and most of
all, why are we here? This is not a message of worry nor a message of
making us feel better. My thoughts in this case are that God created us to be
partners in the secret things, to know what is happening during these times.
There will be wars, at some point a peace agreement and then the building of
the Beit haMikdash, (the Third Temple in Jerusalem). Only then will we enter
the second and final three and a half years of the seven year period, the
1290 days written in Daniel 12:11. This is when it will get really bad.
The
wars spoken of will not be only physical wars but the world coming
against Israel through the world system - judicial systems, banking systems,
etc. These world systems will be the catalyst for the taking of the mark
of the beast. The key to our victory over the events of these times is found in
Rev. 13:10 – patience and faith. How we will overcome is written in Rev.
12:11- by the Blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and loving not our
life even to death. I see the days we
are in now to be our training period for what is yet to come.

Howard Bass of Nachalat Yeshua (Yeshua’sInheritance) also wrote of awakening at in the early hours to hear combat jets streaking overhead to the north. “I assumed that something must be happening up in Lebanon… That got me to praying, in any case, for the sovereign Lord to intervene and direct affairs to help Israel do right and necessary. “Hezbollah retaliated then ridiculously claimed success for a first stage of avenging the death of a top Hezbollah leader. … Iran still claims rights of vengeance against Israel for the killing of one of the top Hamas leaders inside Iran. But all of these terrorists deny Israel the same right of retaliation when it is attacked. Instead we are accused of a blood-thirsty love of retaliation. This is nothing more than projecting onto Israel and the Jews what Islam and the jihadi Muslims do as a matter of their religious and political faith. Israel pinpoints and kills specific individuals - sometimes bystanders are killed. In contrast the terrorists purposely seek to kill and injure as many civilians as they can…. When the great day of the Lamb's wrath has come, and the increasingly powerful bowl judgments are poured out on God's enemies, and the enemies of His Jewish and Christian people, what is the reaction of those suffering His righteous judgments? It is unrepentant hatred, rebellion, and blasphemy against the LORD God Almighty! God will have offered them every opportunity to repent and to believe the Gospel, but they would not…. We are saved by grace: none of us deserves such mercy and love. But a day of judgment is coming, and it is a woe for those who don't believe that, or who don't think it's fair…. The prophetic word also speaks of a treaty or covenant that will be confirmed or strengthened (not 'made'), with the help of the antichrist. Israel and other nations will agree to it. There will be "peace in our time!" but it will be only "peace, peace, but there is no peace…. For those of us who have been blessed to know and believe the truth of who Yeshua the Messiah/Jesus Christ really is, we too, may be perplexed, but we should not be unto despair: we have a living hope in Him to look beyond the real and present suffering of this world, to the glory that is promised after the Lord comes again. Praise God! "
Sally Shiff with the HaMaayan Congregation writing short daily informative updates writes of
terrorists killed in an IDF and ISA counterterrorism operation in Nur Shams. “The
structure was used by the terrorists to conduct terrorist activity and harm IDF
soldiers operating in the area.” One of those killed was “a terrorist
involved in terror activity in the areas of Tulkarm and Qalqilya who was
released as part of the agreement in November 2023.” She continues, “our
army and air force is doing a great job dismantling the enemy with each
strategic step. Because we allowed
the enemy to build their infrastructure for years assuming that they will want
to live in peace, it is taking time to decimate their strongholds. It
will take even longer to change their brainwashed thinking. As you pray for the
safety of Israel, pray as well for our enemies to come to a revelation of
Yeshua. Pray as well for our army to be allowed to complete the job of ridding
the enemy who refuses to change. And pray for our nation to come to God for
help and wisdom instead of wanting to attain peace outside of His perfect plan.”
But it is not just the war Sally is
concerned with as she reports, “Day one of our (children’s summer) camp
is doing great! Just about 100 people are there. Our theme is He is the God of yesterday, today and
forever! If you do not already subscribe to Hamaayan's website, our newsletter, please do! There will be a new
newsletter soon with plenty of pictures.” | Also “In the past week, over 600
Jews from the United States and Canada made Aliyah.” | I found an excellent video/interview with Golda
Meir. Her words ring true today, haven't
changed...except the terrorist are more ruthless on Oct 7th, more brazen. |
The countries are pressuring us to capitulate, but we are praying for God's
perfect plan during this war. Sinwar wants us to promise he will not be
assassinated for his whole life...He knows his days are numbered. Recently
our prayers are changing for God to expose where he is as well as all his top
soldiers.
From LuAnne Sayeg at HaCarmel congregation she writes of the “Pre-Dawn Rockets and Recent
Adventures” writing, “Very early Sunday morning, Dani ran into our living room
to tell me that Israel had just attacked Hezbollah preemptively. ... After
Dani told me what happened, I started filling up buckets in case the
electricity would go off and the pumps wouldn’t be able to get water to our 4th
floor apartment. A fully loaded Apache helicopter appeared by our
terrace and made big circles around our neighborhood, the sea, and the
surrounding army bases. We waited, but no strike on Haifa came. However,
Hezbollah did send over 320 rockets and drones into primarily civilian areas in
northern Israel causing minimal damage. We
are tremendously thankful that the IAF disabled those rocket launchers before
they could strike and that our planes returned safely to their bases. .. No
one can predict what will happen in the coming weeks, but in these days of
waiting, our hearts’ desire is to bring glory to God and to see His Kingdom
advanced.

recent intercessory worship evening when Kehilat HaCarmel had the great joy of
hosting the worship group, SOLU - A worship team of Jews and Arabs led believers
from all over northern Israel in joyful singing, and a variety of leaders led
us in prayer for Israel, our northern border, and the many people who are
mourning. And together we prayed for all of the broken people across our
borders - those considered our enemies, but also loved by God." (watch here) | ALSO “A team from our ministry recently went
down to the Dead Sea to help pack up the belongings of the residents of Kibbutz
Be'eri, one of the hardest hit communities when Hamas brutally attacked on
October 7.” | “a number of children were blessed with school supplies and
backpacks distributed through Hadar HaCarmel, our humanitarian aid center in
Haifa. | Beit Yedidia was the site of a two week camp for the children. They competed in their own “Olympics” and had

Yardenit baptismal site even though tourism is almost non-existent in Israel.
We could baptize some of our youth there.
Prayer
requests | We have now a discipleship course that helps people to grow in
the Lord and in the fruit of the spirit. One of the main goals is not so much
in the accumulation of biblical knowledge but rather in a drastic change of our
human character so that we might be as close as possible to the fulfilment of
God’s desire: “Be holy as I am holy”. |
We also have a counseling ministry for people who are struggling with
past traumas and sins. Please pray for believers to be clean and fit for the
Lord’s work in His house. | We kindly ask you to pray for perfect relationships
in the fellowship…. Please pray that the anger and dissensions that we see in
the Israeli society right now may not penetrate the Body of Messiah. Our goal
is to make our congregation a house of peace, mutual help and stewardship. | We’ve
had very anointed meetings lately. Please pray for an outpouring of the Holy
Spirit in our midst through the combination of worship and the word of God.
…. Just a few days ago we held a
well-attended joint meeting of praise and intercession with Jews and Arab
believers in Haifa and we truly felt that this was in God’s heart for the hour.
During these challenging times, let us pray that Yeshua’s words will remain
before our eyes (Matt. 7:12 and Matt 5:43-45).

thousands of Israelis made the trip to Majdal Shams to stand in solidarity and
express their condolences during the week of public mourning.”

suffering families come into the Distribution Center. They need food,
hygiene essentials, even help to restart after losing everything. Our hearts’ cry is for
no one to be turned away in the midst of their hurt. We know that every person that reaches out to us
for help is sent by God. And we desire to be the hands and feet of
Yeshua to them, providing for their urgent physical and spiritual needs. So,
may I ask you to pray about what the Lord might ask you to do at such a time as
this? Together, we can bring food, supplies, and the good news of Yeshua to
many suffering in Israel. Every

Maoz Israel Kobi & Shani Ferguson
write about helping a grandfather, Hezi and his wife who are evacuees whose
home was hit twice by Hezballah rockets! They have roof damage that if not
repaired right away with only multiply the damage cost once winter weather
hits. The Fergusons write, “It’s these moments
that we at Maoz love to be able to say, “We can help!” And it is Maoz partners that have been
supporting the war-relief efforts that have given us this strength—Christians
and Messianic Jews from all over the world who want not only to see Israel win
this war but see the people of Israel standing on their feet – spiritually,
emotionally—and physically—when it’s over. And so we’d like to say thank you
for every effort you have put into this cause and mission.

In addition to lots of news coverage sent by David Silver we have these prayer points from he and Josie: Pray for a GOD ordained miracle victory over Hamas, as He did for Israel in the Six Day War of 1967, and in the days of ancient Israel.| Pray for wisdom from above for the War Cabinet and military leaders as they plan and direct the war to defeat Hamas, and to somehow bring all of the hostages back home.| Pray that PM Netanyahu and the other leaders will not make decisions based on manipulation or threats by international leaders, or pressure from inside Israel.| Pray for Divine protection over all of the IDF officers and soldiers inside Gaza, at the northern border and those operating in the West Bank. Also pray protection for the pilots.| Pray for miraculous healing for all of the wounded soldiers and that there will be no more accidents or friendly fire incidents or accidental killing of hostages.| Pray that all of the top level leaders of Hamas and the other Gaza terror organisations who are still alive, will be captured by Israel very soon.| Pray that all of the tunnels and stockpiles of weapons in Gaza, on the northern border and in the West Bank will be exposed and destroyed. Pray for angelic protection over all the borders with Gaza - Lebanon - Syria - the West Bank and Jordan, that every attempt to infiltrate and attack Israelis will be foiled.| Pray for the physical and emotional health, and the miraculous release of the hostages who are alive, and supernatural healing for the hostages who have been released.| Pray for the Shalom of GOD over all those who have lost loved ones, or whose loved ones are still in Gaza - fate unknown, and for every Israeli who has been affected by this war.| Pray for the many Messianic soldiers who are in the army, that they are fully protected and that they would be salt and light to their comrades.| Pray for supernatural protection over all Israeli civilians, and the same for the truly innocent people in Gaza, the West Bank towns and villages and in Lebanon and Syria.| Pray for a safe and peaceful weekend for all of Israel over the Sabbath and the week ahead.

a permanent facility/center, the congregation is doing very well. Our services
in a local sports center have excellent attendance and our members are keen to
serve. Like many congregations all over the world, our numbers severely
dwindled because of the Corona pandemic. Slowly but surely many new members
have joined and are committed to help realize our vision to see a 'permanent
home' established for Beit Asaph.
Please
join us in giving thanks as we have reached the 50% mark of the purchase price
of the floor-space we have assigned agreement. Paying this will
immediately reduce our monthly interest payments by 50% and enable us to begin
the renovation and equipping of our new community center. Our prayer goal
is to have the facility up and running by the end of this year, 2024.This, of
course, will require a continued steady flow of finances - from Beit Asaph
members and from you, our dear friends and supporters abroad… We simply
cannot do this without you. Please help us see this through to completion.
