Message to
the Israeli Ministries
featured in my Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests
from
Israeli Ministries and Arrows from Zion –
My Grateful
Thanks to ALL of you!
In the earliest years since I started this
ministry in August of 2001, I adopted a slogan from the Bible because I was
already seeing the benefits it spoke of. It is Proverbs 27:18 Whoever keeps the Fig Tree will eat its
fruit; and the one who waits on his Master will be honored.”
I recognized that by tending each
week to the prayer letters Israel ministries sent me, pouring over the
collective wisdom of each of your ministries, you all were imparting wisdom to
me beyond – even far beyond my own capacity. I am so grateful to all that you
have written over the years that not only informed me of events impacting
Israel, but also reflected the hearts of your own years of ministry. This is
gift beyond description to me, and I am genuinely cry sometimes when I am
preparing the Weekly Summary, reading over the things you all are saying. I was
crying over this one when I realized the magnitude of what this dedication to
gather your letters each week has done for me personally. It is such a gift –
and I am a firm believer that it was God wants for the WHOLE BODY.
Both Jewish and believers from the nations are
meant to exchange what God has given His people – both Christian and believing
Jews. We are incomplete without each other. Each side of the two parts of the
body have things from God that must be interlaced together as He joins us into
one new man. We have so far to go in this respect, but one thing that has begun
to come clear to me – we have more than one generation of younger people we
must activate our spiritual priorities upon. I say this as a 74 year old “Baby
Boomer.” The fathers and the grandfathers have to see the DIRE situation that
most of the younger generations are in – and I would include the age group of
our own sons and daughters in their 50’s & 60’s because they have such
blended convictions – blended biblical morality with humanistic morality.
Already in the US we are seeing Gen
Z (also coming to be known as Zoomers) who were born between 1997 and 2012 (13
to 28 years old) are becoming more open to spiritual faith. I am sure the same
is likely happening in Israel because of even greater stresses on society. The
time is now, like never before to not only pray for the children and the
children’s children, but to take every
opportunity to share the wisdom God has given us in our many years of
walking with Him. They are searching for the life ring because many are
drowning in the distress of the sea of humanity.
Again,
thank you all for sharing your abundance with me all these years. Donna Diorio

We have to Wake
Up
for their Dream to Come True
Whose Dream?
The dreams
God has given them to fulfill His Vision!
I remember when Guy Cohen first shared the dream of a Messianic
school and community Center 6/16/2009. Here is what he
wrote:
“One of the main issues that we need prayer
and a breakthrough for is the issue of our children. The children of
believers, like all children in Israel, are required by law to go to
school. We have a number of options regarding this issue. There
are religious schools in which the Torah and its values are
central yet when the staff discovers that we are believers, our
children will be rejected and expelled from such a school. The
second option is that of a secular school. The children come home from
this school setting with all that they have been exposed to in a very
worldly setting. They are faced with teachings of evolution and well as
exposure to things like yoga. A third option that is available is that
of an Arab school. There are Christian Arab schools but the
teaching is all conducted in Arabic (a language that our children do not speak)
and the system is associated with Catholicism, and many times is not Zionist or
a lover of Israel. At this time, home schooling is not an option to
us and therefore I feel that God gave me the vision for establish
a private Zionist believing school.” (DD: “Zionist” is not
evil – the reality of Zionism is that ultimately it is God’s vision of Jew
& Gentile in the faith of His Son! When that unity becomes reality, we will
see Zionism as God sees it: SPIRITUAL life)
Donna: That was sixteen years ago. As you
can see from the artist rendering of the type of center Guy Cohen is
envisioning for the Messianic children of his area and for a community
gathering place for many activities and outreach opportunities, the dream did
not end there. It was put to paper in 2012. The dream lives on – as it must
because we are entering the season of spiritual harvest in Israel going from a
trickle to a river of life and healing so wide, one could not swim across to
the other side.
That is the vision in Ezekiel 47:1-12 of the
water of life and healing trickling from the under the threshold of the
temple - the living temple made of living stones (1
Peter 2:4-5.) Ezekiel saw the water begin as a trickle, the increase to
ankle-deep, then to knee-deep, then to waist-deep, and it became to Ezekiel “a
river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough
for swimming. . . .the water flows out ….When it empties into the Sea (of
humanity), the water there becomes fresh.”
This is the spiritual harvest coming to Israel
and Christians have the honor to participate in it – IF we will wake up and
discern between God’s spiritual builders of the living temple in Israel, and
those who are only trying to do in the arm of the flesh what only the Spirit of
the God of the Living Temple can do for restoring His people.
I want to thank Guy Cohen for reposting
his dream for the region in Israel that was given by God to the Tribe of Asher.
It is Guy’s birthplace and the place where he has led a congregation from its
beginning years ago – even in the face of many trials, religious persecution
and lack of adequate funding.
Unfortunately I have found that not only do
Christians not recognize the significance of the living temple that Yeshua is
building in Israel, but a great many of Messianic ministries in the Diaspora do
not recognize it either! If we are going to donate finances to the
support of Israel, shouldn’t it be FIRST to congregations and ministries who
are doing outreach to Israelis unto salvation? Israel-supporting Christians AND
Messianics should be financially supporting the household of faith
FIRST.
The Dream and Vision of Guy Cohen
Harvest/Katzir of Asher Congregation
A Messianic Jewish Center for Acco, Israel
by Guy Cohen, as posted on 9/15/2025
Over the
course of more than twenty years of ministry at Katzir–Asher in Acco, we have been privileged
to serve our community in cooperation with the authorities and the welfare
departments in a wide range of areas: operating a soup kitchen, distributing
food baskets and vouchers to families in need, providing assistance to soldiers
during times of emergency, granting scholarships to mothers pursuing higher
education, and renovating and restoring kindergarten facilities. All of
this we do out of a sense of spiritual calling, and with gratitude to the Lord
and to the Body of Messiah around the world who support us.
Alongside the many acts of
service and kindness we bring to our surroundings, we are aware that at times
we are seen as “nice but dangerous.” This perception stems from our unique
identity – a community made up of both Jews and non-Jews united in faith in the
Messiah. Although this sometimes stirs tension, we believe that our work
above all testifies to our commitment to values of love, care, and sincere
concern for every human being.
Yet despite our broad social contribution,
we encounter closed doors when it comes to receiving land allocations for
establishing a Messianic community center. While other religious groups
are granted support and land, we find ourselves left aside, regarded as “the
scum of the world.” This sense of discrimination does not weaken us, but
rather strengthens our resolve to continue serving society with faith, hope,
and the pursuit of true equality in the public sphere.
Through this letter I turn to believers
worldwide: help us rise and stand firm despite the opposition. Your support can
enable us to continue shining light in our community, to build the Messianic
center we so greatly need, and to pass on to future generations a legacy of
love, service, and living faith. If you have political connections, or if you
know leaders who can stand alongside us, please help us by making those
connections and opening doors.
Sadly, we also see that some
who believe in Yeshua choose to support the local religious establishment – the
very one that often opposes our work. At this time, more than ever, we
need true unity in the Body of Messiah: that we would choose to stand together,
support one another, and be a living testimony of the Lord’s love in this
world.
(In his social media post, Guy
displayed other pictures including) the mayor gladly allocating
buildings for Torah study to the city rabbis, with smiles and
celebration. This naturally raises the question: what about the Body of
Messiah? When will our children also have a place in the community – a land
allocation where we can fulfill the vision of the Lord, strengthen the children
of Messiah through the study of the Scriptures, and lift up praise to Yeshua?
Donna: That
must come from the support of worldwide body of the Lord getting in
sync with God’s plans.

A Glimpse Behind the
Veil | Who Killed Charlie Kirk? Spoiler: It Wasn't The Jews| by Rachel
Boskey | | When Charlie Kirk was assassinated, I
sensed that the veil to the unseen realm was lifted slightly, making it
possible to see a bit more clearly into the world of the spirit. Like after a nuclear blast, a shock wave of power opened the door into another dimension or spiritual perspective. read full commentaryl

Jewish Restoration You
Can Believe In
| by Avner Boskey | ….An important question needs to be raised: What does it mean to
believe in the restoration of the Jewish people to their Promised Land? What
does that restoration process look like? How will the nations respond as the
God of Israel brings that restoration to fruition? Your prayers and support
hold up our arms and are the very practical enablement of God to us in the work
He has called us to do.
World War
and An Army of Voices | by Orna Grinman,
A Sign & Example ministry
| There is much talk these days about the
necessity of raising up an end-time army. However, it mostly refers to a
spiritual one, such that will fight evil through prayer and intercession. Is That All There Is? Charlie
Kirk’s assassination last week made it clear to me that this army cannot function only in the spiritual realm. Simply because
the frontline the Body is facing these days is not only spiritual.
The Faithful Galilleans Chaim
Malespin wrote brilliantly on what Charlie Kirk’s assassination means for the
rest of us: “Charlie Kirk once said that if pastors would boldly preach the
truth, he would be out of a job.
We need to recognize that we are in a war, and it may not be the kind of war
you think. It is a battle between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of
light….If
we do not do our job of being a light in this world, the darkness will
spread. We are called to be watchmen! Charlie Kirk has been an
example of someone who pushed back against the darkness and brought forth the
light. I believe this clash of kingdoms is also manifesting here in Israel. The enemy is fighting
us at every level—whether through Hamas, Iran and its proxies, the social media
“TikTok generation,” “Queers for Palestine,” the UN, ICC arrest warrants, world
leaders, liberal voices both inside and outside of Israel, internal divisions,
societal clashes, intimidation, cancel culture, antisemitism, fear, ridicule,
lies, poor choices, sin, and idolatry.
And this same enemy is working to
erode the Judeo-Christian foundations of Western society. So what can we do? I
believe it starts on our knees and asking God to show you how you can be a
light in our world today. Not all of
us will have a platform like Charlie but you can be a light right where you are.

I cannot say enough about how
much I appreciate the prophetic voice of Reuven Doron – just subscribe and you will see for
yourself. His writing on The Third Day is a powerful must read. Write
him and ask for it: “The Bible assures us that
the God of Israel will not only preserve His nation during the "two
prophetic days," (the 2,000 years of exile and 'national death'), but that
He will also heal and revive us on the Third Day, that we might live in His
sight. We are in the Third Millennium after 2,000 years since the Cross of our
Messiah. According to Hosea, we are on the brink of resurrection life. Please don't
let the birth pains and darkness dishearten you.” In The Third Day newsletter Reuven Doron sent with this video, |
WATCH Reuven’s Resurrection Time.
I don't believe I have ever heard anyone say
this better than Reuven: "Israel will continue to fight, to survive, and to rise into newness of life through God’s amazing grace regardless of the pain. And it’s her
emerging resurrection-life and supernatural success that will continue to feed
the global monsters of jealousy and hatred. The failing governments of
the world believe that they are voting about “Palestine” in their
Woke/Progressive chants. The truth is that they are voting about their own
destiny. Israel is God’s last call to a lost world."
Sally Shiff at HaMaayan congregation “The assassination of Charlie Kirk has really caused me to pause
and consider the entire ramifications of it in the spirit….thinking about his
generation and the generation given to him to touch. Turning 65 this December
causes me to think about the generations after me. What impact are they having
now and what will their impact have when it's their turn to hand over to those
younger than them. The generation that was just 1 year old or not born yet did
not experience September 11, 2021. And in Israel, that same generation is now
on the battlefield fighting for our freedom from terrorism and return of our
hostages. They are the next leaders of Israel. They are the next "Charlie
Kirk's" if you would allow me the license to go that far.
Ronit Bender attends the Carmel
Congregation & in every letter she
sends give us a great model of being light to the people in her community –
drawing complete strangers into friendship that leads them to relationship in
Yeshua. As was pointed out, we cannot all have Charlie Kirk’s platform,
but we can ask God to point us to people as Ronit does, that we can bless with
His goodness, love and mercy. Her Sept letter had a theme to those God
pointed out to Ronit to bless and that was the people in daily life who are
seemingly invisible to everyone around them – the guys who pick up the
garbage, the guy who cleans the toilets where we go to work out or swim, the dishwasher
of a restaurant, the elderly. The
invisible ones God wants to tell them He sees them and loves them too.
Ronit was happy to be the one to tell them with a blessing.
She also wrote about the 48 hostages still in
Gaza: “Hamas attacked various villages and a music festival in the
early morning hours of the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) in
2023.
I had a vision in that first week that Yeshua walked into the tunnels that the
fighters have been using and it was full of dead bodies. Then I could not understand it, now I do….). It is
unclear how many of the 48 are still alive, maybe none, but Please pray for all
48 of them to return to Israel.
They are already involved it this
weekend – The Tree of Life Ministries led by Ariel & Shayla Hyde have taken
12 new believers who have been “struggling – they’re facing massive challenges,
pressures from family and friends, spiritual attacks, and temptations. Many of
them haven’t reached real stability in their walk yet, and they’re having
difficulty connecting with a local congregation.
We’ve been seeking God’s face for
all of them often, and we believe God led us to hold a Holy Spirit Weekend with
some of them – this weekend!” Drawn from Ephesians 19 when the
apostle Paul arrived, saw the ““disciples” who were clearly lacking in
understanding and the infilling of the Spirit. Once this group of 12 disciples received more instruction and “the Holy
Spirit came upon them” (v. 6), God
did incredible things through Paul and this group over the next season. A
revival broke out in Ephesus – many repented of their sins, believed in Jesus,
Yeshua, and burnt their idolatrous books (vv. 18-20). The Gospel spread so
rapidly and powerfully that “all who dwelt in the province of Asia heard the
word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks” (v. 10). And God performed
unusual miracles in the area, confirming the word of the Gospel (vv. 11-12). So we’re excited about what God can do
through around 12 new disciples – and He has indeed promised to do great things
through Israeli believers in our time. But nothing happens without God’s
supernatural help, and so we would like to earnestly ask for your prayers!” Pray for this work to be GREAT &
MIGHTY & FRUITFUL!
Dugit’s Avi Mizrachi writes, “If you could
stand beside us in Israel and see the lives your support is touching, your
heart would overflow.” He tells of a soldier who had just finished
his service who called for a New Testament in Hebrew. He could not wait to get
his hands on it, coming in the pouring rain immediately to pick it up instead
of waiting for it to be mailed to him. Avi only spoke briefly with the man
about Yeshua and right then and there the Lord touched the soldier’s heart and
he gave his life to Yeshua on the spot! “Friend,
this is exactly what your giving makes possible: moments when the Good News is
shared and lives are transformed for eternity.” Avi also speaks of
how after 40 years ministry in Israel he
has seen how God uses the biblical feast days to move His people to come to
faith. This is why all the ministries are preparing to bless in this opportune
season of the Fall Feasts of the LORD. He writes that so many in Israel today “because of war and a deep financial crisis, many families cannot
afford to celebrate with dignity. Your
gift today can put a High Holy Days meal on their table…. At
the same time, your support fuels our evangelistic coffee house, media
ministry, local Messianic fellowship, and other outreaches—creating more
moments like the one with Mr. S.” (the soldier). “Now is the time. Will you give your most generous gift today to meet both the
spiritual and practical needs of people in Israel this High Holy Days season? Be
part of what God is doing in Israel right now.”
Once again I have to commend the great wisdom I always find in the letters from
Howard Bass of the Nachalat Yeshua/Yeshua's Inheritance
congregation in Beer Sheva. He touched on so many issues that we
deal with personally – from having children that embrace living in Israel
despite the stresses, and the faith: “There is much to do here towards
influencing and impacting the society, and to build up the church in this
country, and in this part of the world -- the focal point of all history.
The center of gravity, so to speak, is here in the land of so much conflict
ever since He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt….(to give them a
promised land) for His purpose and glory. The
battle is raging in our generation! Though
victory be snatched out of what may seem certain defeat, that great day
of deliverance and victory will surely come! ….a young Ukrainian
immigrant was baptized: “Life over here is stressful at many levels for
those leaving one war zone only to enter another; or for families broken up due
to war with all its costs to pay. For Israelis -- especially the Zionists among them
(not all are) -- without faith in the historic heritage associated with
the long struggle with God and with man to be overcome -- every
tragedy would become only a matter of
personal concern…. Those who understand that this is an historic battle
towards a final redemption -- however difficult to define or explain
-- for a
people and a land, they are ones who are able to bear the loss of
their own loved ones as part of the sacrifice to be rendered towards that
goal…. For those who
know the truth of the gospel…, we, too, must see current events in light of the
end and purpose of the Living God, and not just as tragedies or
losses that make no sense -- even though we may not be able to make sense
of so much evil at the personal level of any individual. Our hope is in the LORD, and in His eternal
plan and purpose, not in our own personal lives and plans and
suffering. Without living faith and hope and love in what is beyond our
temporal experience, we will weaken in the good fight of faith until the end.
God has promised to help us overcome, and the Holy Spirit is in born-again
believers to enable us to be more than conquerors in Him who loves us. …. While
I know that much has already been written about Charlie
Kirk and his awful assassination, his "sacrifice" has also
provoked in me some thoughts, some of which have already been expressed in
what I have written above. Yesterday at our congregational outing, there
was prayer for Charlie's wife and children, and that the impact he has already
been making on especially younger people would even expand and strengthen. I had not
realized how many of the Israeli younger generation he had been reaching and
gaining an audience with, even among the believers.
Howard had much more to say,
like: “For pluralism to work it requires an agreed upon consensus of a
spiritual foundation… those who undermine that either need to
at least be hindered, if not actually removed, or else they will
gain more strength to destroy the house/family/nation. A house divided cannot
stand.” Something the UNITED STATES would be wise to WAKE UP to immediately.

The Revive Israel community writes about
a group of young people from the “Messianic Hetzim (Arrows) program, which prepares
young men and women for their upcoming military service” who came to work in
their fields. They write, “, it was a
reminder of God’s design: every part of the body has a purpose and special
role. “Now you are the body of
Messiah, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:27. They wrote of
not comparing ourselves with other but to look to Scripture which “reminds us that each of us is a unique part
of the body, with a different and vital role. In the end, our calling is to
be like Yeshua, not like any other person…. As we worked together that day, I could sense it; we
were building the Kingdom side-by-side. One body. One Father. One God who
defines us and faithfully provides for every need.”
Leon and Nina Mazin in the Haifa Return to Zion congregation write that they are happy to return
from a short summer break for the ministry workers to resume their outreaches
into the community: “We have resumed our Soup Kitchen
ministry for the elderly, where they receive a warm meal made with love. Our distribution
of humanitarian aid to low-income families is again in full swing.| We are paying special attention to new immigrants, helping them adjust to
their new environment by providing essential support and care during their
first, often challenging months. And we’re also excited about the approaching Jewish feasts, and are
currently planning festive events for new immigrants, complete with food
and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Our goal is to make them feel welcomed, supported,
and part of a caring community.| In
preparation for the new school year, we were delighted to give school
supply kits to the children in our Congregation, so they could start their
studies with joy and confidence…. All
of these good works have only been possible because of you —
people with open hearts. With love, Leon and Nina Mazin To visit us online | Donation information
