Arrows 2025 May 23 Forcing Israel (and Reality Check)

Forcing Israel
TO GET WITH THE

‘Gentile Solution’
TO THE
‘Jewish Problem’

For all of Trump’s good intentions toward Israel,
are we now slipping into history repeating itself?

by Donna Diorio

The title this week is directly from Howard Bass
who leads the Beer Sheva Nachalat Yeshua, or Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation. It captures the essence of how Israelis – including most all of the Israeli Messianic leaders – view President Trump’s fast moving Middle East tour last week. I have yet to hear any who are comfortable with the surprising changes that emerged during Trump dealing with Middle Eastern leaders. Honestly, I think buoyed by the high praise of conservatives for how well Trump’s cabinet picks have been performing domestically; I suspect he thought the same would apply to their efforts on the Middle Eastern policies. Clearly they did not do well. Witcoff, in my opinion from the beginning, is a disaster appointment in the Middle East. No telling who else (Rubio) is contributing to the bad news but I believe we should pray that Trump would reawaken to what God had impressed on him before: his alliance to Israel cannot be mere lip service. If any are advising him wrongly, that he would reassign them to a place that does not trip the USA up on God’s will for us, and for Israel.

REALITY CHECK: A pro-Palestinian/Hamas supporter, 31 year old Elias Rodriguez committed a murderous terrorist attack outside of the Jewish Museum in Washington D.C.  His victims were Yaron Lizchinsky, an Israeli Messianic Jew and his fiancé an American Christian. Media and government officials failed to identify the reality that this was no simple murder. It was a terrorist attack. The targets are a prophetic symbol of the one new man in Messiah. We must heed this prophetic warning.

* Somewhere in the early reporting on the tragic deaths of Yaron Lizchinsky and Sarah Milgrim, they were described as a Messianic Jew and his Christian fiancé. This reporting was wrong so, I was wrong in my reporting of it as well. That changes the above statement that is was a prophetic warning of the "one new man" - however, it does not change the fact that it was a warning of things to come, and you can be sure, it will not just be coming for Jews, but also for Christians.

Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

Howard Bass of the Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation in Beer Sheva inspired the naming of this May 23rd issue of Arrows from Zion. It was already clear from most all of the ministry letters that Trump’s Trip (and that may also mean stumble, not just journey) are of great concern including to Israeli ministry leaders. Howard continues: “As those of you who watch for Israeli news, the military incursion again into Gaza is an effort to defeat Hamas and to free all of the remaining hostages.  It is not certified how many are still alive, and whether this latest effort to "finish the job" will bring the much prayed for return of the living and the dead back to their families. . . . And the deals still being pushed to end the war under whatever terms still do not deal with the main spiritual reality behind it all, which is to force Israel to get with the "Gentile solution" to the "Jewish problem". . . . While the US President speaks about a return to common sense, there was none in his willingness to accept the lavish airplane palace from a nation who clearly does not have American interests as a priority, other than to use those willing to go along with the love of money to set them up for a big Islamic reckoning. If born-again Christians have difficulty discerning the signs of the times and not being certain of where the wind is coming from and where it is going, how much more so those whose knowledge and faith in our Lord and God's word is scanty?
Howard shared many great ways the congregation is ministering to build up the body even in the midst of war, but I will share this: On Monday, June 2, there will be the annual national Messianic celebration of Shavuot/Weeks, again at the Baptist Village in Petah Tikva. It is a wonderful opportunity for believers from all around the country, and from many different congregations to come together for good fellowship in the joy of the Lord for the baptism unto life in Messiah/Christ. . . .I have posted a couple of articles on the website:  Tzemach | The Hebrew word "tzemach" is used in several places as a Messianic term for the Messiah/Christ, whom we know is Yeshua/Jesus. | May 14, 1948 | May 14, 1948 is probably the biggest prophetic event since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70AD. . . .
Amir Tsarfati did a very interesting and absorbing interview with "the three sisters," one of whom is Tal's mother-in-law, Ayelet. The Bar-David family has been in the country since before the founding of the State in 1948, and were one of the few Messianic/Christian families that stayed when the Independence War broke out. (Ayelet's husband's non-Jewish family also arrived in the land before the founding of the State, and his mother's brother was one of the founders of Nachalat Yeshua/Yeshua's Inheritance Congregation back in 1972.)The interview mentions the amazing Shalom Jerusalem concert 1995 with Paul Wilbur leading, and many local believers participating in the singing. Even I was among the "choir," and standing to the left of Amir (although he is easily visible in the camera, and I make a "cameo" appearance.  :)

Sally Shiff of the HaMaayan congregation continues to send her updates daily from since the Oct 7 war began. She confessed, “The war is also taxing on our emotions...As I am developing this update from you, finding videos of interest, I cannot watch the events of October 7 that are nightly on our news. Stories of heroes that fought and died on that dreadful day. I send them to you so you can know how to pray: Like this one:  6 vs. 100 Terrorists: The Untold Heroism of Kibbutz Re'im
She notes: The IDF discovered documented evidence that Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 in order to stop Saudi Arabia from joining the Abraham Accords. [When the Hamas representatives in N America met in 1993 in Philadelphia, according to Holy Land Foundation trial evidence, their #1 object was to strategize how to overthrow the Oslo Accords and reverse US public support of Israel to support Hamas. They have also been successful in this with stunning stealth effectiveness! –DD]

Sally also sent this update 5/23 FROM HaMaayan:  Two Israeli embassy employees were murdered in cold blood tonight by an attacker who shouted: “Free Palestine,” in Washington DC near the Holocaust museum. This young couple were about to be engaged to be married. Yaron Lischinsky had just bought a ring as was going to propose to Sarah Milgrim in Jerusalem next week according to reports. Instead, terrorism knows no geography bounds and rose up in Washington D.C. Just a few days ago, young people from the United Arab Emirates, proudly dressed in their traditional clothes, visited the exact same place, and were met with a hate march, Hamas flags, and calls for murder. Amjad Taha, who was part of the delegation, writes: “This was not a demonstration. This was a warning.” |      The warning has been there all along: • In the chants of “from the river to the sea” • In the takeover of the “campus” protests by Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood • In the silencing of institutions • And in the distortion of freedom of expression to serve terrorism. | Calling for jihad is no free speech.  What happened tonight is not a “local incident.” This is a direct continuation of what happened on October 7th.
Ending on a good note: God gave us so many miracles during the Uniburn festival that you have been praying for, THANK YOU. Within a week, my congregation is putting out our newsletter with an overview of miracles that you had a part in praying for, plus all the rest of the amazing news that He is using us for. If you have not received our newsletter in the past, sign up here.

Tikkun Global sends this Global Prayer Request for Operation Gideon’s Chariots from Betty Intrater. “| After continued failure at negotiations, Operation Gideon’s Chariots has been launched in Gaza, Israel’s version of Trump’s declaration ‘all hell will break out.’ The goal as always is to disable Hamas and release the hostages. In addition, the IDF plans to divide Gaza into 3 military controlled sections with civilian areas in between, to facilitate safe food and humanitarian aid distribution and prevent Hamas from regaining control. . . . Trump finished his Mideast tour and Israel is left wondering what some of the ‘progress’ means for us. The week after the US came to an agreement with the Houthis in Yemen, three rockets were fired in our direction. Ultimately Israel knows she can’t fully depend on anyone, but needs to be able to stand alone. Read in full click title above.
In other news, “Asher Intrater, Ariel Blumenthal, Paul Wilbur, Moses NG (Hong Kong) and Felipe Hasegawa (USA) have arrived in the Netherlands for a three day conference with KNGDM Alliance. Pastor Sebastian Van Wessem & gathering leaders to help bring a greater Kingdom understanding of the End Times and One New Man, in addition to other relevant biblical teachings. We consider this to be a very important part of our mission as a ministry—from Israel to the Nations.  Please pray for the Dutch people. They have been so good to Jews and Israelis over the years.”

Aliyah Return Center’s Chaim Malespin asks Will Israel and Saudi Arabia ever become friends? | On the world stage, President Trump visited Saudi Arabia and Qatar and other places in the Middle East this week, and there were some interesting developments as a result. The relationship between Israel and Saudi Arabia is important to understand. When the UN voted for the establishment of the modern State of Israel, Saudi Arabia opposed it. Ever since, the kingdom has remained in the shadows during the wars waged by surrounding Arab states against Israel. While they’ve been unwilling to directly fight Israel, they have supported Israel’s enemies. For example, they sent financial aid to Syria and Egypt during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Perhaps their most overt action against Israel came when they led the 1973 oil embargo against the United States. Any nation that supported Israel was hit with an oil embargo, using their oil resources as a geopolitical weapon.
Things began to shift in 2010, as Saudi Arabia started warming up to the U.S. and gradually opening up to the idea of normalizing relations with Israel. This was largely in response to Iran’s growing hegemony in the Middle East. To counterbalance regional powers, Saudi Arabia began leaning more toward the West. Before the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th, Saudi Arabia was very close to joining the Abraham Accords, which would have meant official normalization with Israel. Now, as a result of the conflict, Saudi Arabia is demanding the establishment of a Palestinian state as a prerequisite for joining the Abraham Accords. For Israel, this is not a simple request. Gaza was essentially its own state before October 7th. And look at what happened — instead of building a future, it became a launching pad for destruction.
So will Israel and Saudi Arabia ever become friends?.... Look at what the Bible says about Saudi Arabia that they will bring delegations to Israel with gifts for Israel!!  “A multitude of camels shall cover you... all from Sheba shall come... they shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall proclaim the praises of the Lord.” — Isaiah 60:6 . . . . Isaiah 60 mentions: Sheba, Kedar (son of Ishmael), Nebaioth (firstborn of Ishmael) This reflects a prophetic revival among Arab and Muslim nations coming to worship God here in Israel
Meanwhile, the Aliyah Return Center continues to bless and support new olim and needy communities in the Galilee. Click here to see all ARC is doing and click here to Help us make a difference

Avner Boskey of David’s Tent in the Negev sends two articles back-to-back connecting the dots for us on President Trump’s fast trip through the Middle East in Coconuts, Elephants and Leopards | Here is the “The elephant in the living room | The Western world is for the most part ignorant of what the Arabic-speaking world thinks, what the Islamic community believes, and what Muslim sensitivities are. The secularized West is mostly unaware of what the Quran teaches, and of how the concept of military jihad is central in the Muslim world.”
ALSO Beauty, Oil and Passion | “One analyst has stated: “For bankers, the most important thing is to keep the channels of international finance open, no matter what the human cost.” The violent jihadi ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood is not changing any time soon. And Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, Qatar, Turkey, the Houthis, etc., are all on board for the very bumpy ride. . . .(From the perspective of Ephraim Halevi, former head of the Mossad….”We are in the throes of a world war, raging over the entire globe and characterized by the absence of lines of conflict and an easily identifiable enemy. . . . International cooperation…cannot replace the requirement that each and every country effectively declare itself at war with international Islamist terror … This war is already one of the longest in modern times; as things appear now, it is destined to be part of our daily lives for many years to come.”

Ronit Bender, an intercessor in the HaCarmel congregation and a personal witness herself, studiously keeps away from political comment in her ministry letters but this timejoined the voices of concern about Trump’s Middle East trip: “Recently President Trump was in our region. Given the recent ‘surprises’ the Trump administration has sprung on Israel and the lack of a stop in Israel, there was great concern among Israelis and prayer leaders over the lack of transparency. All that was said has not yet been revealed.” She asks prayers for Trump “not to give in to conditions and compromises that could be detrimental to Israel, most notably by dividing the Land of Israel to create a Palestinian state."
Another prayer request is that One for Israel, the ministry that produced my testimony, is currently in a legal battle. They write "This case was brought against us because of our evangelistic efforts. It’s a direct challenge to the freedom to share the Gospel in Israel and general freedom of speech and freedom of religion." ….For me, sharing the Love of Yeshua is my walk every day…. Pray that One for Israel's lawsuit will be thrown out and the gospel will continue to be unhindered in this Land where Yeshua walked. Pray with me that those I come in contact daily, will get saved.
On a personal note that have testimony-sharing opportunities, “Your prayers are moving mountains. For over 30 years I have suffered pain from my fourth toe on the left foot. It burned day and night.” One of those Ronit has ministered to much met an Israeli doctor who treats wounded soldiers. Despite many doctors seeing Ronit’s toe over the years, this woman immediately knew the problem and went to work on the toe. “I had my first night in 30 years that I slept without foot pain.” She returns in 3 weeks for the 2nd treatment, and no doubt to continue personal witness to others.
There were many more testimonies, but I will leave it at this: Ronit prays for the hostages at a recent prayer time at the Carmel Congregation

Rania Sayegh, House of Prayer & Exploits in Nazareth, catches us up on all they have been doing. Watch a brief recap of their Passover intercession , Build the Altar Highlights and read Worship in the Switzerland Forest  On April 6, the HOPE team gathered in the Switzerland Forest near the Sea of Galilee to worship, pray, and declare the kingship of Jesus over the Tiberias region. On May 3rd 100 Arab believers gathered in Nazareth for a transformative School of Prayer with Dr. Suzette Hattingh (watch clip) | Join the Sound: Partner with Worship & Media | Sow & Grow | At the heart of HOPE is a deep desire to cultivate a dwelling place for God's presence in this land—through worship, intercession, and creative expression that reaches both heaven and earth.

Immanuel Church, Pastor Najeeb and Elizabeth write to catch us up on their work the past two years with the Latrun Community, which has a fascinating history of how German brothers have been serving believers in Israel for 51 years. Unfortunately, the raging arson fires impacted buildings at Latrun and it appears that it will take quite a long time to recover all that burned. This wiped out a seminar they were set to do for Arabic-speaking believers in community of Latrun entitled “Touch the Hem of His Garment.” They have postponed it until the fall, but ask prayers for a suitable place to hold the seminar then.
The couple are also doing ministry with the Christian Arab IDF Soldiers, which has given them a great standing with IDF leaders over the past few years, and also do much outreach to the Armenians. Two wonderful testimonies of encounters with Jewish men, where Najeeb was able to speak to one with real connection about Jesus, and the other, to help a young Jew who had come to faith on his own reading a New Testament  who now wanted immediately to follow it in water baptism! They are meeting to speak more. When Najeeb asked where he found his number, the young man said, “A friend of mine follows your page on social media. He shared some videos and posts with me. That’s how it all started.” I do not have enough room to include all their great news, but you can write them to learn more. Donate information at immanuel.haifa@gmail.com

Claude & Michelle Ezagouri of the MorningStar Fellowship in Tiberias held an open cultural & musical event inviting people from the city to the non-evangelistic event. “In fact, the people who came were religious and I told them who we are. They were touched by the evening that ended with a kosher buffet and some nice small gifts that we offered to every guest. They said that they want to be notified ahead of time next time because they know people whom they want to invite. We are aware of the sensitivity of such an event, but we covered it with prayer and asked the Lord to anoint it, which He really did. We feel it is the time to break the walls between the Messianic Jews and the local community. Beyond evangelistic words, they want to know who we really are. We also felt that they felt alone, and they needed fellowship so our prayer is that we will be guided by God for such events and their timing in the future.”

On the war Claude writes, “…reservists who have fought in the front for over a year are very tired and reluctant to go back to combat. Many of them have lost their jobs and others are in dire financial straits. The war has caused more and more physically wounded and post-trauma victims so often need to go through a long time of therapy that prevents them from functioning normally in their marital, family and professional life. Many soldiers are discouraged by the fact that the orthodox men are exempted from army service …. Many in Israel have a hard time believing that the goals of the war will be reached. If this war is to continue and intensify, please pray that the morale of the army will remain high.  There is much disappointment among many Israelis after Trump’s visit to the Middle East. Israel fears that new decisions and alliances together with some armament deals between the US and some of Israel’s enemies may jeopardize Israel’s interests and security. Moreover, the American vice president Vance cancelled his visit to Israel because of Israel’s decision to intensify the war in Gaza….I feel that God allows this isolation to happen because He wants His people to turn to Him. We remember how, in the days of old, Israel was reprimanded by the Lord because it was too prompt to lean on Egypt…. During Israel’s troubles, we remain confident that God is in control and His plan for and through Israel will work out exactly as the end-times prophecies  tell us. This should encourage us to remain alert and listen to His still voice. Our sincere gratitude for your prayers and support.  Youval & Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel write: “The wail of sirens has become an all-too-familiar sound. It’s becoming a near-daily reality where we are constantly finding ourselves running for cover as the Houthis launch missiles from Yemen. The tension in Israel is razor-sharp—every moment feels uncertain, every breath a prayer. And yet, in the midst of fear and fragility, the presence of God is unmistakably near.

The Carmel Congregation led by Dani & LuAnne Sayag sent out a “Happy Birthday, Israel’ greeting noting: “On May 14, 1948, the final day of the British Mandate, the Jewish governing council proclaimed the establishment of a Jewish State, Israel. The next day, the armies of neighboring nations— Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt—came against the newly-born nation, and many believed this nation would not survive that war. Seventy-seven years later, we are still here. The same God who brought His people out of Egypt, is the One who re-established the nation of Israel. Not because of our deeds, but because of the covenant He made with His people more than 3,000 years ago. If God had not been faithful to His word, if He had abandoned what He promised, that would mean He could not be trusted. Even in the midst of the great challenges we continue to face here in Israel, we are confident in the faithfulness of the God of Israel who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You can watch and listen to Dani’s complete Isaiah 66:8 message Can a Nation Be Born in One Day? English translation throughout this message in Hebrew.

Reuven Doron, ever encouraging, posts this near 11-minute video “We have to talk to Jesus.” Reuven goes on to quote from the Romans 11 passage beginning, “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery” to the end of the chapter about “Israel’s calling, failure, recovery, and ultimate destiny.”

Reuven, a presenter at ShelanuTV, sends a quote from an intercessor who spoke with a young Jewish Orthodox man in Jerusalem. The young man said, "Jesus is and always will be the eternal Jewish Orthodox Rabbi. This is certain and can't change.” [I don’t have room to post the whole conversation, but if that was the only thing he said, it is already astounding and a demonstration that God is changing hardened views among the Jewish people right now! ] Reuven continues: Tens of thousands of Hebrew speaking Israelis are watching our Shelanu TV programs online in the privacy of their homes, looking for meaning, comfort, and hope. Arrows May 16 2025 Holy Journey to a Spiritually Significant Site

Holy Journey to a Spiritually Significant Historic Site
to cry out for Israel Outpouring

Reported by Donna Diorio

Last week in this prayer summary Guy Cohen who leads the Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco, wrote without fanfare about his visit to Pirate’s Cove to cry aloud for God to visit Israel in an outpouring like was poured out in that place in the late Sixties and Seventies. He went alone, again without fanfare.
The next day I would see a post on X about the annual baptism event by Greg Laurie of Harvest Church. Laurie and his wife were both saved in the Jesus Movement of the 1960-70’s and have hosted this event for past 35 years. In 2024 they baptized 4,500 people, drawn together with some 28 other churches. The person who posted it on X must have thought the 2025 event had just taken place in the way it was presented with great excitement of the largest baptism on record indicating a revival.
For years in the church we have heard prophetic words about how God is going to pour out His Spirit on young people. That is what God did in the Sixties and Seventies Jesus Movement and it had a major impact of the creation of Messianic Judaism. There were many Jewish young people swept up in the Jesus Movement, and not only did God save Jewish young people, He led them into developing a new thing —Messianic Judaism. It was really a return to an old thing, the first century expression of faith in Yeshua as Israel’s Messiah in Jewish context. So many of these young Jews had the same prompting from God that Messianic Judaism began to grow, congregations formed and in due season quite a few of them immigrated and became the pioneers of Messianic Judaism in Israel. That location is exactly where God wanted to establish the witness of faith in Yeshua in a Jewish context.
Jews and Christians have been in an uproar ever since. Before Messianic Judaism, Jews who believed in Jesus just joined traditional churches. Many of them think it is unnecessary to express faith in a Jewish context. A lot of Christians don’t like it either, also concluding it as unnecessary, that to be one, Jews just need to join a church. Many Christians regard it as Jewish believers in Jesus trying to come back under the Old Covenant. They cannot see it in terms of authentic first century Messianic faith in Israel.
God had something distinctly in mind causing all those young Jews, newly saved, to begin thinking in terms of continuing to live in a Jewish context. I believe that was God preparing them for providing that witness in Israel as God would continue to bring Jews back from the four corners of the earth to the restored Promised Land.
Now Guy Cohen is not one of pioneers of the Jesus Movement. He is a native Israeli from a rabbinic family. The Messianic congregation he leads is in the city of Acco, also his birthplace. He was spiritually mentored by one of the Jesus Movement pioneers in a nearby city, Eitan Shishkoff of the Tents of Mercy congregation. It seems so fitting to me that this young man, Guy wanted to visit that place, Pirate’s Cove, were so many of the hippie Boomers were baptized. As he wrote last week, it came about when he accepted the invitation to share in Los Angeles so near to Pirate’s Cove. He wanted to go to cry out to God for such an outpouring on Israel. He went alone and prayed alone, but it seems to me, even all by himself surely a prophetic act he was carrying out.
I contacted Guy Cohen to learn more from him what led to his visit to Pirate’s Cove. He wrote back that five months ago, he and his wife, watched a movie called The Jesus Revolution. The movie is actually based on the autobiographical book by Greg Laurie as he, Lonnie Frisbie and Chuck Smith took part in the Jesus movement in California.
Guy Cohen writes, “When I received this invitation (to Los Angeles), I truly felt it was from God. I hadn’t left Israel for quite some time due to the situation here, but this seemed like divine direction. The main reason I accepted the invitation was so I could visit Pirate’s Cove—a place where the Holy Spirit touched the lives of so many young people and changed their life for the Glory of God. My desire was to go there, pray, and seek God for a similar move of the Holy Spirit here in Israel.”
“It wasn’t about my own plans,” he explains, “I simply felt I needed to set foot on that ground, to pray, and to seek a fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit. I also prayed for direction on how to bring revival to the young people in Israel, and for a powerful move of God among my people. Every step of this journey was led by the Holy Spirit—not by me.”
I have met Guy Cohen several times over the years and have always seen a great humility in him. I have also seen a great anointing from God on this young man, which is why I began to get excited about him visiting the Pirate’s cove baptism site.
Over the years we have seen a great many repentance and forgiveness events in places that historic wrongs were committed against Jews. My sense was Guy’s visit to the place God poured out salvation on both gentiles and Jews, marked a Divine change of direction in the future of both Christians and Messianic Jews. Coming together as one, as God desires of us.
Let us pray into Guy Cohen’s prayer at Pirate’s Cove, for another outpouring on Jews, especially in Israel — not only for the witness it will bear to Jews worldwide that Yeshua is the real Messiah, but also because an outpouring on gentiles worldwide will multiply as the blessing of Israel’s spiritual restoration by faith in Yeshua/Jesus continues to increase . Can I get an amen?

Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries
This week turned out to have a theme of “Generation” running through most of the ministry letters.

From Revive Israel a report on their 2024 Camp Connexion in France where Israeli teens, both Jewish and Arab met with French teens in a camp where they could worship, pray, laugh & cry together in the presence of God. For those from Israel it was “more than just a summer getaway—it became a sacred refuge. A place where they could breathe deeply, find rest for their souls, and meet peers from another nation who embraced them with love and unity.” It was a “one new man” encounter for a teen generation. “Through worship, teaching, and heart-level conversations, these youth found the strength to stand in faith—despite the storms around them. Many left the camp ready to walk boldly with Yeshua and even share their faith back home.”  The Revive Team who made this possible for them writes, “These teens are the next generation of believers in Israel—living under threat, facing spiritual and emotional battles, yet hungry for truth. Will you sow into their future? You can be part of this story.” GIVE Today to help make Camp Connexion 2025 possible. | Watch Highlights from 2024 Camp | Testimonies from 2024 Camp Connexion

Fields of Wheat has been without their Katzir (Harvest) Camp director, Joel Jelski, who has been engaged in the warfare in Israel, serving in the IDF, which is but one of many of the type of challenges Israeli ministries have been facing during the long season of war. Many family members – children, grandchildren, spouses and siblings are also serving. It is stressful to say the least.
All of that is why team member Ruby Bishai’s exciting report on how they have brought Sports Tournaments into the Fields of Wheat umbrella and already they are seeing great things emerge. For one, the teams are bringing young believers in together for times of play. Ruby reports that last month for a volleyball game in Netanya, “almost a hundred young believers from all across Israel came together to participate, and almost 150 more came to cheer on the teams. The energy was electric.” The game was dedicated “to honor the memory of Urija Bayer, a dear friend, a brother in the faith, and a fellow believer who paid the ultimate price defending our nation in December 2023.” Ruby writes, “The spirit was different - vibrant, but deeply honoring. We opened with prayer, wearing special shirts designed by Urija’s sister, and throughout the evening, the name of Yeshua was lifted up over everything we did.  It wasn’t just a tournament. It was a declaration: God is still good. Even in the midst of loss, even in the face of heartbreak, we stand together, and we move forward in faith. Here’s a news report of the event YouTube VIDEO
“….I believe these tournaments are going to play a strategic role in strengthening the body of Messiah in Israel, especially this generation. We’ve already seen that through the tournaments, real communities begin to grow. New groups of believers started meeting regularly in Haifa, Jerusalem, and Be’er Sheva to play together, pray together, and strengthen one another. . . .Please pray for this next chapter  We’ll be continuing with the youth camps and the support of our soldiers. These tournaments are a natural outgrowth of the years spent building relationships of trust with Israel’s next generation.
Sounds like good results!  Please GIVE to Help Fields of Wheat Equip Our Youth

A beautiful picture accompanied the City of Life’s email about their Summer Camp – Healing the Hearts of the Future Generation in Israel . A young girl in the crowd of kids wiping a tear from her eye. This year Michael and Dina Beener will hold a camp for “more than 50 Messianic youth and teenagers from southern Israel, supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. The camp will be a space to strengthen essential values such as friendship, care, trust, and loyalty, taught through biblical principles and inspired by the heroes of Scripture.” There is no one in Israel who are not suffering from the trauma of war. Children are especially vulnerable and I have noticed a special heart in this ministry for children. Maybe because the Sderot community is so close to Gaza, all the people there have been suffering from the shell shock of Hamas rockets for years before the Oct 7th 2023 war broke out. How can a ministry not have a special heart for the children subjected to these hardships all their lives? Michael & Dina do carry that heart. They write, “Every gift makes a difference in bringing healing, hope, and purpose to these young lives. Thank you for being part of their story. Read more and give here | Also they write about the persecution that relentlessly comes against them from the religious influencing the city to take actions against them. Jennifer Guetta of Plant Hope Israel has exciting news about the pre-release of her new Children’s book on Amazon’s ebook/kindle. “Treasure of Zion is a fast-paced adventure and historical novel based on the newest excavations in the City of David in Jerusalem. It is for ages 8 and up, but adults love to read it as well.” Jennifer writes, “Officially the book is coming out on the 1st of June, but thanks to the preorders, the book has already become #1 on Amazon new releases for historical novels for kids and for Christian children books…. I NEED YOUR HELP. The Amazon algorithm works in such a way that the bookstores look at how many preorders there are and that determines if they will buy it. Would you be able to help and bring this book to the public by preordering the book and telling your friends about it? It is now only $5,99 (normally $7,99). Even if you don't have kindle it helps me enormously to get this book out. Perhaps see this as a sponsorship to get the book to the next generation and help them understand Jerusalem.      Jennifer also wrote about the two new age festivals that many of the ministries in Israel were praying about. “Sadly there are many Israeli's who are dabbling in new age and kabbala.… people are gathering with drugs, trans music and many more awful things. We really feel God's indignation, judgment and anger about these things and we are praying for a purification of the land and for people to turn back to God and get to know their Messiah Yeshua…. we also found out that the (Uniburn) festival is being held, literally next to where the Hebrew version of my book is being stored. My container is literally standing by the entrance! I have prayed for many months to the Lord for God to help us distribute the books. Now, God sent the people to us! Exciting! Pray that many will receive the book and be set free.

Reuven Doron wrote another exceptional newsletter commenting on how their village was spared of being overtaken in the terrorist arson-fires and also sharing his perspectives on what was at the time of his writing Trump’s upcoming trip to the Middle East. I have to say that I share the same concerns and views as Reuven – and many other Israeli believers. A Trump supporter myself, I know Americans don’t want to hear it but I believe Reuven nailed it when he wrote that Trump’s trip raised “high hopes for advancing a historic deal with Saudi Arabia” yet the trip also saw “American Foreign Policy regarding Gaza, the Houthis, and the Iranian Ayatollahs seemed to have marvelously relaxed overnight.” I am holding out hope that this applies more to Trump’s cabinet leaders with him than it does with him. I still believe God has His hand on Trump to do good for Israel. Relaxing foreign policy expectations on Hamas, Houthis & the Ayatollahs will not do ANY good whatsoever towards Israel.
Reuven also wrote “Naive Western leaders who crave the approval of their muslim voters continue to host and embrace the new Syrian (ex-terrorist) “President” while turning a blind eye to the atrocities going on in his “Syria.” While Abu Mohammad al-Julani may be wearing a business suit these days, his Sunni terror militias continue to slaughter, rape, and pillage Alawite, Christian, Kurdish, and Druze minorities…. Thousands of Druze refugees are flocking back to the “Druze Mountain” region in southern Syria where they are protected by Israeli fire power from the Jihadi Syrian Sunni militias. In fact, the IDF has just established a hospital in southern Syria to treat Druze wounded fighters.
In recent days, Syrian flags were pulled down while the Druze flags alongside Israel’s flags were lifted up over the Druze Mountain region. As we have written before, we pray and expect that Israel will establish its area of protectorate in southern Syria, drive away the hostiles, and secure a safe zone for the Druze who have always been good neighbors to Israel.”
What is happening with Syria is of great concern. Nothing trustworthy of the new Syrian Terrorist-President. Reuven goes through each problem spot that got white washed in reporting of the Trump Middle East results. I encourage you to write him and subscribe to his mailing list.

From Tikkun Global, Asher Intrater also discusses the same issue, in Abrahamic Accords Expanded?  Is there likely to be an expanded Abrahamic Accords for peaceful relationships with Israel and its Arab neighboring countries? No one can say for sure, but here is my perspective. No political solution can bring full peace. Long-lasting peace can only happen when people's hearts are changed. You can't just sign an agreement on paper when people still hate one another on the inside. That will fall apart or explode, sooner or later…. However, that does not mean that it is not God's will for us to live in peace now, for whatever measure possible. I believe there will be a temporary period of peace here in the Middle East. How full that peace is and how long it will last depends on many factors. Read more online

It is hard for me to imagine how Chaim Malespin is so engaged in combat, but also in ministry too, seemingly on a daily basis. I see a very spiritually grounded individual in that. Pray for him. In just one of his recent writings he spoke of the Ukrainian Jewish poet who composed the words to Israel’s national anthem, Naftali Herz Imber, in 1878. Later another would put it to music, Samuel Cohen, but it was the words that inspired Jews all over the world. Chaim wrote, “The song spread throughout the Jewish communities, bringing hope and inspiration.” I have no doubt whatsoever  that God put those words into Imber’s heart to pen, and also stirred every Jew who heard it to realize that is what they longed for too.  “As long as in the heart within | A Jewish soul still yearns, | And onward, towards the ends of the East, | An eye still gazes toward Zion; | Our hope is not yet lost, | The hope of two thousand years, | To be a free nation in our land, | The land of Zion and Jerusalem.”
Chaim continued: “In April 1945, shortly after British forces liberated the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, Jewish survivors, weak and traumatized, gathered together and spontaneously sang Hatikvah together with the little strength that they had left. Little did they know that in three years, this dream would be fulfilled.”
On another day Chaim wrote, “Things are intense right now. Therefore, it is on our heart to rally everyone to intensify their prayers for Israel this month. You can join the Altar of Prayer to join believers around the world in praying for Israel. Ask God to give you a scripture to pray over Israel, and declare it every day of this month. Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel congregation of the “Holy Harvest” set before them in the time between Passover and Shavuot/Pentecost. “In Israel, during the Biblical festivals God Himself ordained, the Good News is not just spoken. It is encountered. This Shavuot is the perfect opportunity for Voice of Judah Israel to act. God is moving, so should our ministry. When we share the Word of God during the Biblical High Holy Days, the message carries a supernatural weight and urgency. It is as though the Bible steps off the pages and into the streets – into the very hearts of the people who so desperately need an encounter with the Living God.  During Shavuot our ministry is stepping out in faith with an intentional strategy to share the Gospel right in the heart of Jerusalem. Now, more than ever, Israelis need to hear that salvation is the ultimate fulfillment of God’s promises. Yeshua is the long-awaited hope of Israel, the Word made flesh, and we have the extraordinary privilege of declaring this Good News where it all first began. … Shavuot prophetically speaks of harvest – both of Israeli’s wheat fields and spiritually of souls for the Kingdom of God. The Lord has a relentless heart for redemption….You have the opportunity to sow into this harvest today. Your prayers and partnership will directly spread the Gospel across Israel this Pentecost.   From Out of Zion, the Silver’s writh about the Fire and Flames, contrasting the “Hamas Flames of Fury verses Jewish torches of Glory…. Hamas calls their flames, flames of freedom, but these are not symbolic lanterns, but fires of destruction. We, Israel, use our torches to represent freedom. There is an eternal flame in the soul of this nation and in the people that cannot be quenched. Song of Songs 8:7 - "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it."  Continuing, “When the fires of our enemies rage around us, in our darkest moments, we know they will never extinguish the glow that shines on this miraculous, amazing nation. How do we know this ? Because the God of Israel, said, He is the Keeper or the Guardian of this nation, Israel. He is surrounding this eternal flame and watching over it, protecting it, to make sure it is never snuffed out. God said in Matthew 10:9 - "What God has joined together let no man separate. Israel, is also like the root system of an olive tree – indestructible. Israel and the God of this nation, are inseparable, because of a marriage covenant. And He will not let anyone, or anything separate Him from His people or His nation.”

Avi Mizrachi of Dugit Outreach Ministries writes the good news of how the LORD has provided for them a new lease for the ministry: “Thankfully, we will still have a roof over our heads until we can secure a permanent home.” Now they are free to focus on the upcoming Shavuot holiday with the knowledge that like all those years since the opening of the Book of Acts, “The Spirit Is Moving in Israel…AGAIN!” Avi assures that even with the last minute move, “we have not stopped doing the work of the ministry. In fact, we are leaning into it, believing God to do even more! Our Distribution Center continues to meet increasing needs of families and individuals struggling to make ends meet due to the war and inflation. Our Outreach Teams are ministering to the many hurting people who have been deeply shaken and are looking for meaning during this difficult time in Israel. We are distributing Hebrew and Russian bibles and evangelistic materials as we invite people into conversations that plant the seeds of eternal life.”
Avi writes, “I believe that now is a time of spiritual harvest. The same Spirit who was poured out on Pentecost is continuing through our ministry today—and we are honored to be His hands and feet in Israel.  BUT WE CANNOT DO THIS ALONE. Would you prayerfully consider giving a special gift during this season?  …. Please give your most generous Pentecost offering today to help us reach the lost and hurting in Israel. Be blessed in the name of Yeshua, Avi Mizrachi

This is a Profound Mystery  — “one new man”
  by Donna Diorio

I was so struck with the Out of Zion’s use of Matthew 10:9 “What God has joined, let no man separate,” and the pointing out that “
Israel and the God of this nation, are inseparable, because of a marriage covenant.”   It’s because just days ago I wrote a two part article I called “And so all Israel Shall be saved” and used the exact same scripture to describe what God wants in the unity of Jew and Gentile from Ephesians 2:14.

I had not read what the Silver’s wrote in their letter, nor what Asher Intrater would speak in his Thursday Global broadcast (“This is a profound mystery” as I named my part 2 article a couple of days ago).
God speaks and many who are listening hear the same things. It is a beautiful confirmation of what we are hearing from the Spirit.
  The Two Shall Become One

In the first of the two-part article,
And so shall Israel be saved Pt 1  I was focused on the great mystery of Ephesians 2, how God is making out of two “one new man” in the faith of Messiah. Also how the Apostle Paul says, “This mystery is profound” comparing it to the marriage of husband and wife.
     In
Part 2 without having ever having thought about it before, suddenly the Spirit dropped into my thinking that the great mystery of God’s plans in the matter are in seed form in Genesis 1-3. So
Marty Shoub’s book featured in the Tikkun ministry letter excited me. Shoub is writing about “the formation” of one new man, and I was seeing a clear foreshadow of the plan in Genesis! Marty’s books is
To the Jew First: The Formation of One New Man
Now I firmly believe that the formation of “one new man” is happening now, but I was the astounding evidence that God’s plan to do with is revealed in seed form how God creates man out of the dust of the earth, then creates a woman for the man by putting the man to sleep, then taking the creation material directly from the created body of the man.
You have probably heard the same as I have — that all the plans of God are planted in seed form in Genesis.  I got really excited to read about Marty Shoub’s book, I want to get his email address so I can reach out share this exciting thing.

And So All Israel Shall Be Saved, Part 2

I have more on what I wrote yesterday And So All Israel Shall Be Saved. This is Part 2 of what the Apostle to the Gentiles wrote about the "great mystery" of how Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua/Jesus are like a marriage union (Ephesians 2:15).
So now I want to point out that in Genesis 1-3, we see God create man and all the forms of life on the earth. Then God says that none of those life forms could fulfill man's need not to be alone without a helper/an aid.
So God put the man into a deep sleep and open Adam up taking something from inside the man with which to form a woman to be with the man. God did not form the woman out of the soil of the earth as He did the man, but instead, He removed something from the man and that became the material God used to form the woman.
This is in the same sense that Christianity has been birthed out of Judaism. Likewise as with Adam, the first man, God took Israel and put them into a "deep sleep" too. Isaiah 6:10 "Make the hearts of this people calloused; deafen their ears and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”
This was not Divine cruelty, it was putting Israel to sleep while God created Christianity. God's plan saw it necessary to put Israel aside until the timing when He would return to restore them spiritually.
Aslo God did not create a whole new religion, but Christianity was born out of Judaism - the same Jewish Messiah, all Jewish apostles, the original ekklesia or congregation established in Jerusalem - and the risen Savior's promise to return to the same place, Jerusalem to set up His Kingdom.
In this great mystery of God, even the creation of women as a help and aid to the man, is a foreshadow to the birth of Christianity out of Judaism, and the destiny of Christianity, like the destiny of women, to be an aid and helper in the "one new man" mariage-type unity God is bringing together in these last days.
Do you see it?
Ephesians 5:31“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 THIS MYSTERY IS PROFOUND, but I am speaking about Messiah and the ekklesia. 33 Nevertheless, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
What stands in our way of this is the next spiritual breakthrough.

And So All Israel Shall Be Saved

The eye opening trip I've been on since I returned to the Lord in 1983-84: My journey has been specifically directed by God toward fulfilling His stated - but mysterious - plan "to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace."

What does that mean? It means the same thing for Jews and Gentiles in the faith that it does for husbands and wives in the faith. We become one, with each other and with God. Such oneness does not erase our distinctive Divine-design differences, but when both walk in it, it makes peace between them, and also them as a God-ordained joining.

Paul compares the "one new man" in the faith of Yeshua/Jesus as like a marriage. In Ephesians 5, Paul says it is a "great mystery" - which is why it is so difficult to get everyone on the same page about it! 5:31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This mystery is profound, but I am speaking about MESSIAH and the ekklēsia. 33 Nevertheless, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."

The ekklēsia is bigger than the Church. It is the WHOLE body of those in the faith of Yeshua/Jesus - both the gentiles in the nations who are Christians and the Jews throughout the world who are in the faith of Yeshua, Messiah of Israel.

It is like Yeshua/Jesus said in Mark 10:9 "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."

Many have come between the "one new man" of God in His Son. It started early on. It was not only the "Judiazers" who sought to separate the two made one, trying to force in the same sense as genders making women be exactly like men. God does not erase the gender-specific differences and He does not erase the Jew-Gentiles specific differences either. Some of you may need to camp right there to ponder on that one.

In the beginning verses of Ephesians Paul makes a bold statement, that he is called specifically for a purpose, to understand mysteries beyond what they other apostles even understood. And his calling was, Eph 1:1 "Paul, an apostle of Messiah Yeshua by the will of God to the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Messiah Yeshua."

Later on Paul explains his mission from God clearly
in Ephesians 3:1: "For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Messiah Yeshua for the sake of you Gentiles." (If you read the entire context of Ephesians 2 is how God is building a living temple out of gentiles in the nations and the spiritually restored Jewish people - the "one new man" that together we make.

Paul is not talking about being held in prison in Rome, he is saying he is a 'prisoner' of God's mission for him in relating the mysteries of God's plan to gentile Christians. His heart's desire was to bring Jews to faith, but God had another mission for Paul. It was a necessity to fulfill being an apostle to the Gentiles, so we could realize what God is up to. Romans 10:1-2 "Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation. For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge." In this sense, Paul was a prisoner to the mission God gave him, because his instinct was, I must take this message of faith to the Jews. It was not God's purpose at the time, but is is God's ultimate purpose and what He is doing RIGHT NOW.

Paul was the only Scripture-educated Jew among the apostles of Jesus. God chose Paul in part for that reason, because there are many things that cannot be understood about God and what He is doing among human beings without an understanding of the foundation laid in the Jewish people being chosen, called out and God's Word given to them.

I am no Paul, but I can relate to be called out to that purpose in my walk with God - His purpose to make of two, one new man in Messiah.

As the Church comes into understanding that the ekklesia includes the distinctly different Jews in the faith of Yeshua/Jesus too, and forwards what God wants to produce out of our Oneness, we are finding peace with each other and the blessing of fruitfulness from God in reaching both peoples with the salvation of His Son. For me, this is what it is about, and it is HOW "All Israel shall be saved." Not at some later date, but happening NOW.

For that to happen, Christians have to take their eyes off the numbers, and realize it is a matter of the spiritual maturity level that determines when the harvest comes in. Again, Paul refers to the "fulness" of the Gentiles as a great mystery. He says "hardness of heart" is the grounds that has set Israel aside in unbelief, until the fulness of the Gentiles ARISES (
eiserchomai) in them.

Do you see Israel's hardeness was that salvation was not for the Gentiles, and now half of Christians believe that salvation is not for the Jews. Some Christians believe it is never going to be for the Jews again, and others think 'it is just not now' that God has His eyes focused solely on the salvation of gentiles, Israel to follow later by some unknown way. But in Ephesians and in Romans, Paul tries to lay out that mystery as a spiritual maturity level of Christians to understand what God is doing bringing them TOGETHER NOW - a unity that will produce the fruit of salvation among Jews and Gentiles. Forget the numbers of gentiles coming to faith - where is the mystery in thinking that? That is easy to think, spiritual maturity is the mystery.

God's purposes will be fulfilled by those who will humble themselves to recieve how He wants to do it. He wants it to be a joint operation, a cooperation between both Christians and Messianic Jews.

. . . .and then there is the whole fulfillment of prophecy in God restoring the State of Israel as in the Valley of Dry Bones prophecy - in stages, with the spiritual restoration IN ISRAEL after the national resurrection of the State of Israel. Again, Christians playing a part in both instances. Antisemitism rising around the world is pushing Jews to immigrate to Israel and this is God using the evil of the enemy for His own purposes, because that is the place were Jewish salvation is going to be the greatest testimony to the world. The whole world is going to be startled as they see faith arising in Israel for Yeshua/Jesus. Some gentiles will be so influenced by the testimony of Israelis coming to faith they will be persuaded to belief the truth of Israel's Messiah. Because let's face it, most of the world does not believe Israel will ever believe Yeshua is the Messiah. But many already do. The harvest in Israel has already begun in earnest! When God says He is going to do something, He will.
