Arrows 2024 Nov 29 Giving Thanks for the Harvest

Giving Thanks for the Harvest
by Donna Diorio
I write this just a couple of days before Thanksgiving. Already the Feast of the Lord celebrating Israel’s Fall harvest – Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles – has already been celebrated in October.
As I landed on the ministry letter from Fields of Wheat, Eitan Shishkoff’s letter graphic brought to my mind how the American Thanksgiving would be past before I mail this summary on Friday — but the harvest Eitan was referring to the spiritual harvest that lies before our eyes. It has already begun but will become a massive spiritual ingathering before “all Israel” to welcome back Israel’s Messiah.
It reminded me of Amos 9 — a chapter that sweeps through the course of 2,000 years of history. (Several of the ministry leaders also had Amos 9 come to mind in their letters this week – that is important, when God speaks a particular verse or passage to many!) In Amos 9 God speaks of His destruction of Israel for their sins:  (verse 7) “Are not you Israelites the same to Me as the Cushites (upper Nile Egyptians)?' declares the Lord." It is another way of saying, "God is no respecter of persons."
But God does not dismiss Israel forever. That is a wrong doctrine by those who do not take God at His Word. I can say that without any fear of being proven wrong because God speaks of the days when He will restore His people throughout His Word. He will restore His people for His name’s sake – first from their exile in the nations, then in His spiritual harvest in their own restored land.
He says to the prophet in verse 13, "'The days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills...."
I believe this is speaking to the time Israel is entering of continuous seasons of spiritual harvest all the way to the end it will continue. The harvest is coming in NOW, let us give thanks to God for what has come and all that is coming.  This week a YouTube video sent by Reuven Doron explains what the quiet harvest of souls in Israel is like right now. Please Watch it.
This is the spiritual harvest that follows the physical restoration. It is all because of God's promise to Israel to "bring back my people Israel from exile."  In verse 11 God declares through Amos, "In that day I will restore David’s fallen shelter—I will repair its broken walls and restore its ruins—and will rebuild it as it used to be...."
And the final promise to Israel is one that I really love: In verse 15 God declares, "I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,' says the Lord your God."
This is the Israel we see today – only bettered by Israel being restored to relationship with God by faith in Yeshua. The harvest fields are white unto harvest – meaning human hearts are ripe. Hardened hearts have been plowed and softened, seeds have been planted and even more will be planted by those coming to faith right now — generations coming to faith.
Now — not later — is the time of spiritual harvest in Israel, and it is the Israeli ministries like those in this weekly summary each week who are bringing in that harvest.

Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

Eitan Shishkoff tells the personal story that a teenager shared with him about being touched by the Spirit of God during one of the youth camps. Eitan wrote, “He's a quiet kid, but deep. So, I listened, hanging on every word, glad that he felt safe enough with me to talk about his inner life.” The boy said, “During a worship time I told God that I wanted to experience Him — that hearing about 'knowing God' wasn't enough, that I REALLY want to know Him, personally. But nothing happened. Then, after the message that evening, you came to pray for me. Nobody was touching me, but I felt the Lord's presence surrounding me. I sensed the indescribable depth of Yeshua's love, meeting needs I'd not even been in touch with. Then, I couldn't hold back the tears. He heard my prayer and answered me. I'll never be the same.” Eitan writes the young man, “could not have given me a greater gift that day at lunch. To know that a young person has had a real encounter with the Living God and wants to walk with Him the rest of their life—well, it's the best.”
As Eitan reiterates sharing these testimonies is important so you can get some measure of the importance these youth camps are. As the Katzir (harvest) youth camps 3x per year have been going on for 24 years, Eitan says many more stories of young people could be shared. This is the kind of grounding Israeli teens need before “being inducted into the IDF and placed in life-or-death battle situations,” Eitan writes. “I believe that it is our calling—yours and mine—to provide the Messianic youth of Israel with experiences in worship and the word of God that will equip them to stand among their peers, shining with the light of the Lord, as they defend our country…. We need your visionary help to finish out 2024 with our Chanukah camp in December and welcome the teenagers of Israel into the presence of the Lord three times throughout 2025 (Passover, Summer, and Chanukah). Each gathering brings 90-100 youth together. Potentially, these four events can touch 400 future harvesters. Our budget from December 2024 to December 2025 is $180,000. Together, with your help, we can achieve our goal! Your year-end gift will count, whether it be $18 or $18,000!” Help by donating here.

Arni Klein of Emmaus Way says that after learning the 2024 election of Trump “we sensed an opening in the spiritual atmosphere making way for something new…. Over the last four years we’ve witnessed an unprecedented degree of absurdity in the global political realm.” Arni noted that for many Americans, “there is no question that the outcome of the 2020 US election was not a true accounting but the result of outright fraud and observable illegal activities. It was hard to understand and accept the situation as being from the Lord.”  But was it God, making depth of darkness so glaringly visible that many could no longer deny what was true? Arni quotes 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 says, he writes, “those who do not receive the love of the truth, God sends strong delusion that they would believe a lie and perish. We each intersect with this principle personally according to our specific life situations. Denying or compromising truth in any area will consequently affect our discernment in every area. This of course also affects the spiritual atmosphere over nations in accord with decisions taken by the governments.
Pivoting to Israel, Arni writes “being neutral has become practically impossible. Virtually everyone everywhere has come to a conclusion and taken a position about Israel in the current war. All the facts are in. Everything is completely out in the open. There is nothing more to be said. There is no need for further discussion. The proverbial line in the sand was drawn on October 7, 2023. Regardless of Israel’s relationship or lack thereof with the Lord, regardless of whether God was angry with Israel, regardless of any ignorance, incompetence, duplicity or complicity on the part of our government, everyone knows who fired the first shotsWe were attacked by a demonically-inspired entity whose sole motive was no different from that of Adolf Hitler.”
Where we are at this moment: “we have entered into a Divinely-appointed window of grace. May we not miss the call and unique opportunity of the hour…. Israel is still at war, with soldiers dying nearly every day and tens of thousands unable to return to their homes. But at some point we too will come to a place of rest. What then?.... God help us not to be lulled to sleep and caught unprepared by the cessation of outright hostility. This warning is especially relevant for the Body of Messiah in America.
Some might remember what we’ve written regarding the solar eclipses in the US in 2017 and 2024. You can find our full thoughts in the last chapter of the Israel Revealed Course (free book downloadable in 7 different languages available on Emmaus Way website). … Father will help us discern the times and seasons, know what is coming, and how to prepare. Let us work while it is yet day, for the night is coming when no one can work (ref. Jn. 9:4).
RE: the mobile tabernacles we spoke of in our last letter - One important logistical consideration is acquiring a customized enclosed trailer to store the considerable amount of equipment to significantly streamline the loading and unloading process. We estimate the cost to be around $3000 if anyone would like to sow into that project.

Howard Bass of Nachalat Yeshua (Yeshua’s Inheritance) writes with joyful news of a new granddaughter born to Tal and Eden. Avishag is 5th granddaughter for Howard & Randy, who also have 1 grandson. Tal was able to attend the birth but returned to his army reserve unit soon after.  Howard writes, “Israel, and Israelis in general, continue to try to live their abnormal normal lives. But there are many who are permanently injured physically, emotionally, psychologically. Most of those who have been displaced from their homes and work have had their lives overturned.  The hostages and their families are living (if still alive) a 24/7 nightmare. The pressure on the government and the turmoil within the political, military, religious, social compartments of Israel are pressing and heavy. As it is somewhat written:  if YHVH of Hosts was not with us, we could not make it…. we are in a delicate, volatile time now.  A time for much prayer, and a time to completely put our trust in the sovereignty of our God and Savior! All things serve towards producing the results that He has told us that He wants, and will obtain.  He has His schedule to complete His plan to make this world better, the way that He wants it.  Praise the Lord!
In Nachalat Yeshua/Yeshua's Inheritance, we consecrated nine new deacons (including two women) last week. serving God as His official servants is sacrificial, a living sacrifice unto Him who not only lived His life a perfect living sacrifice, but also went all the way in His love and faithfulness to give up His life completely on the cross. The filling of the hands, as the consecration is called in the Hebrew text, is to be filled with the sacrifice of Messiah. The word is the same as soldiers called up for military reserve -- milu'im/filling [the hands; the ranks] for service unto God, unto the nation. This is a very big step in our transition period toward future leadership and maturity among us, and to help the elders (including myself) better serve, and to be more free to not be expected more than is suitable, given the growing congregation and also the time available in our schedules. It is also an important element in getting our (God's) house in order for the next stage of our congregational life and ministries. We very much appreciate all of you upon whom the Lord has given a heart to pray for us here as a congregation among the many others in the Body of Messiah here in the Negev, and in all of Israel.
Here are a couple of recent teachings:  the first which I had prepared for our time in Bulgaria, according to their request; the second what I taught in the congregation this past Shabbat.  Israel Past, Present and Future | The Unchanging Word of God, Pt 2

Youval and Valerie Yanay of Revive Israel write “lives are being transformed through Revive Israel’s discipleship programs. In every program, we’ve witnessed incredible stories of growth, healing, and faith—testimonies we’re excited to share with you. Your generosity has provided opportunities for young leaders to grow spiritually, emotionally, and practically. From finding relief and restoration, and working the land to embracing community, your support is sowing seeds of hope in their lives, especially in the lives of those directly affected by the war.”
B said, “What I didn’t accomplish in the army, I’m doing now. My heart expanded, and I want to teach and guide others.” | Da said, “Through working the land, I saw thorns as unforgiveness and stones as lies. Connecting with creation taught me about God’s actions.” | Dh said, “Every stone I moved represented another obstacle being removed from my life. God gave me comfort and confidence in Him.” | M: “I’ve never stuck with a framework before,” she admitted. “But God showed me this was a spiritual battle. I realized my words have power to encourage others, and I love sharing what I’ve learned about agriculture.”
These stories are just the beginning of their discipleship. “Thank you for being a vital part of helping us be a refuge in the storm for Zion’s sake!” Learn more

Reuven Doron, OneNewManCall, wrote about Skylight this week – a 2-year old pony who is the newest orphan living in their village. “Skylight was born here nearly two years ago to his mother, Moonlight. Needless to say, they were “a hit” for the village children and animal lovers who visited and spoiled them daily. However, when the war broke out, things began to change.” More stables had to be built and because the construction was near the current stables, Skylight’s mom, “developed a bad lung infection from the industrial pollution.” Moonlight died from a heart attack in her weakened condition a couple of weeks ago, and her baby “Skylight, still a nursing big baby, was lost and heartbroken. Seeing him looking for his missing Mom and calling out to her broke our hearts as we came to visit him often.” Skylight is coming back around to his usual self, but as Reuven points out, “… the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now…” Humans are not the only ones who pay the painful price of fighting and enduring this war that was forced upon Israel by her enemies. Tens of thousands of acres of Israeli farmland, forest, orchards, livestock, and pasture have been turned into charred wasteland under Hamas and Hezbollah rocket fire, and Skylight is our most recent war orphan…. It is the sacrificial labor of prayer that keep the heavenly bowls filled with the intercession and the worship of the saints of God that move history forward according to God’s plan. Thank you for your labor of prayer for Israel’s hostages who are still held captive now for over 400 days, for our military, our fallen, our grieving, our victory, and our salvation.”
And here is the video mentioned in the cover story that I asked you to please watch: The video is today’s update from our village outside of Jerusalem. Enjoy it, and please pass it on to people of prayer. The WORD still becomes flesh... Thank you for upholding our people, our family, and our work in your prayers. We are grateful for those who are able to financially share in our labors during this season of war and of harvest. The needs are substantial, as are the opportunities to serve the Lord, and the link below offers tax-credited giving options. Thank you. PARTNER WITH US | To read the touching letters of Sgt. From Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel and Voice of Judah ministries, Pastor Israel’s devotional also covers Amos 9: Planted with Purpose: God's Promises for Israel and You! | Devotional by Israel Pochtar | Amos 9:15 declares, “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the LORD your God. | This profound promise carries even more weight when read in the original Hebrew. It hints at the reality that there will be active attempts to uproot Israel from its God-given land. Looking at the current climate, this scripture feels as relevant as ever. The media and global voices often challenge the legitimacy of Israel’s claim to Jerusalem and the surrounding land, yet these voices are but noise in the presence of God’s eternal Word. God does not concern Himself with the clamor of opinions or opposition. His promise is unwavering: the land of Israel belongs to His chosen people. He planted them there Himself, and no effort of man will succeed in undoing what God has established...WATCH Now

Kobi and Shani Ferguson of Maoz Ministries are devoted to nurturing the worship musicians of Israel. they write, “Did you know that today in Israel, no public airwaves will carry the music of Israeli believers? For this reason, we have spent years working to develop Israeli worship to a place of excellence where it cannot be ignored. Currently we are releasing a NEW SONG every other Friday! Producing worshipful music in a variety of music genres and growing popularity for Israeli worship outside of Israel is a big part of this. That is why Maoz Israel Music has a recording studio in Jerusalem with an entire team of Israelis writing and recording worship music in Hebrew, English and Arabic together with local and international worship leaders. This is a significant step in the restoration of modern-day Levites to the land of Israel. Will you take part in supporting this restoration with us?”

In her home congregation, Kerem-El, Ronit Bender was invited to whatever was on her heart on a special Friday evening Shabbat meeting. So she shared the thing that is close to her heart “giving.” That should be obvious to anyone who reads these ministry summaries. Ronit is always sharing with others. Her generosity often shocks the people she meets. Most often they want to know why she is so different, wanting to give to complete strangers. Ronit doesn’t just give people money or gifts, but she also gives them time, strength and encouragement. Always a listening ear.
After Ronit spoke in the congregation three of the young people invited me to coffee and asked many questions about the topic of giving. “The conversation was spirited and exciting, and they've asked to meet again. I encourage you to invest in the young people around about you, as your life should testify to the goodness of God in your life giving hope to the younger generations.”
It might appear that my life consists of restaurants, coffee shops, and going to the hairdresser salon, but that's only the bits you hear from me. Every time I leave my house, I pray that the Lord will give me opportunities to witness, and I don't think a day goes by that He doesn't make it happen! Let me encourage you and say that you can be a witness wherever you are. If you pray this way, God gives us so many opportunities, all we have to do is take them. Israel is not an easy mission field and the reason is not because we are at war. We [Israel] were called a "stiff-neck and hard-hearted people," but the Lord loves this tiny nation. He is not done, He wants Israel saved…. Let's believe 2025 to be a year of great harvest!  Together we walk each other Home. Sending much love from Mount Carmel.

Chaim Malespin of Aliyah Return Center writes: In Hebrew, the word Aliyah means to “go up higher”. And this is the word that the Jewish people use to mean immigrating to their ancestral homeland, Israel. This return of the Jewish people to Israel has been written and prophesied throughout the Bible. Here are some examples of this promise:
In the Torah (the first five books in the Bible): Deuteronomy 30:3-5 "Then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you."
In the Historical Books: 1 Kings 8:46-50 "If they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their ancestors, ... then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause."
In the Psalms: Psalm 147:2 "The LORD builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel."
In the Major Prophets: Isaiah 11:11-12 "In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people..."
Jeremiah 29:14 "I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you..."
Ezekiel 37:21-22 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone... and bring them back into their own land."
In the Minor Prophets:  Amos 9:14-15 "I will bring my people Israel back from exile. They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them..." |   Zechariah 10:6 "I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not rejected them..."
In the New Testament: Acts 1:6-7 – The disciples ask Jesus if He will restore the kingdom to Israel. He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.”
This is just the tip of the iceberg! There are 60 plus more promises of the return of the Jewish in the Old Testament alone. This is truly a God thing.
…. If you are starting to think about your end of year giving, please consider partnering with us in blessing and supporting the needy Jewish families in the Galilee area and the many on-going projects that he ARC is involved with. Consider helping us build the Lighthouse, the Aliyah Return Center, where we can continue to assist and help the Jewish immigration be absorbed in their ancestral homeland. * DD: I never knew before that the word Aliyah means “go up higher – it makes sense because of the Psalms of Ascents (Psalms 120-134) are about going “up” (ascending) to Jerusalem (Zion). It is also on my mind that the Church has to make this trip of going up higher too before all can be fulfilled because the Church has to ascend to a higher level of spiritual maturity. At that higher level the Church can recognize God’s special purpose for the Body of Believers in Israel and be okay with playing a support role to their labors in the Israeli spiritual harvest fields.
I’m putting a study of the Psalm of Ascents on my 2025 To Do list. We have to break through the barriers that have been holding us back from “going up higher” so the blessings of the one new man unity begins to manifest all that God has determined it will manifest before the end comes.

Dov Bikas from the Aviv Ministry sends some reports the Aviv Center in Tel Aviv. One of their volunteers' tells of his encounter with an addict on the street right back to the drugs after his release from prison. I can't think of many things that would cheer me on in ministry than to hear, "Even in prison people talk about you: believers who give out free food in Tel Aviv." It took almost 4 years for this man to finally come to faith even though he did become a regular visitor to the center. When the time came, Igal shares that the man, “came to Aviv Center and walked straight up to me. “I’m ready to go to the rehab center and try to change my life.” So, after our shift, we drove to the rehab center together. In the rehab, we spent hours studying the Scripture, talking about sin, atonement, and why we need Jesus, – and two months later, Micha repented and opened his heart to the Lord! Please keep him in your prayers so that his faith will grow stronger every day. Amen!
At their Women’s shelter in Beer Sheva, a women that shared how “for a long time she hadn’t spoken to anyone, lived in terrible disorder, and barely had the energy to even open the door. It was like her very soul was behind tightly closed shutters.” As the shelter this woman found out that others needed her and she could be a great help to others. She responded, “I’ve always wanted to help people… I thank the Lord I’m in the right place for me!” She also expressed love and prayers for everyone at the Shelter. For all of us, it’s a great privilege to witness such transformations!
Enjoy these “two new videos about our humanitarian project in Ashkelon and our Tel Aviv Outreach.“
Prayer Requests:   1. In Ashkelon, we’re exploring the possibility of opening a distribution center alongside our current efforts of delivering humanitarian aid to people’s homes. This center would also serve as a venue for social and evangelistic activities. Please pray that we secure the right location and staff to bring this vision to life. | 2. Please continue praying for us to find the proper location and staff for our planned Arab Rehabilitation Center. It is a long and complicated process, but we are moving forward.| 3. Sergey, our new associate director, has recently relocated to Beersheva and has started working full-time with Aviv Ministry. He is a great help and blessing! Please pray for his family’s smooth adjustment to the new city and their new way of life.|  May God bless you and keep you! from Dov and Olga Bikas and Aviv Ministry Team

Sally Shiff shares daily email reports from the time war started until now. Last filing 11/29 “Happy Leftovers!” (She made Thanksgiving dinner for friends & family and “Everyone left full and sleepy.” On      11/27 Sally shared about the cease fire that went into effect with Hezballah. (Already broken by rocket fire from Hezballah). Sally writes, “You can stop the rockets, but only through decimation can you stop the ideology that is behind those rockets. And that comes only through God. YES, we decimated the top echelon of Hezbollah as well as Hamas, a feat that no other country was willing to do, but the satanic spirit is still there fueled by the support of countries like the UN who blame Israel for living: ‘I have a 7 months old baby, I’m ready to put explosives on him and send him to Tel Aviv.’This is how Hezbollah's supporters sound, Do you have any doubt that they will come to slaughter us at the first opportunity? Israel needs to finish the job.”
11/26 “The Biden administration is threatening Netanyahu. | Prime Minister Netanyahu in the marathon of talks throughout the evening: The cease-fire agreement is not ideal, but there is a real danger that the US will impose on us in the United Nations Security Council a unilateral decision to stop the war, when on the one hand there will be sanctions against us if we do not stop, and on the other hand we will not have freedom of action in case of violation. If this happens - we will get both a ceasefire and no agreement - so if it is possible to postpone the end for two months and we have an American commitment to strike for any violation, it is surely better than the alternative.
. . . .I was in the hardware store today when a customer service rep went on and on how wonderful Trump was. He was in Lebanon for 2 years (prior war) sharing with me how important it is for us to finish the job, both north and south. "The next two months cannot come soon enough".
11/22 Sally wrote “Daily it’s hard to see just how deep and insidious our enemies are to exterminate us, just for being Jews. But like a wound, its best to expose all the purulent drainage where the bacteria lies before you begin to heal the wound. The tunnels, armaments, and plans are being exposed both in Gaza and Lebanon slowly and methodically. It will take time, but the end will produce a new understanding of the Middle East. God is in this war from the beginning, and is giving us the wisdom to uncover tactical plans of the enemy. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
The training of hatred is deep and generational: UNRAW Student, the solution for Jerusalem  | The people of Gaza are deeply affected: Taken us back 200 years, Gazan workers blame Hamas | But some are waking up to the truth and are not afraid to share: "Lebanese Academic: Palestinians Have No Right to Holy Land; “Palestine” Was Not Mentioned in Quran"

From the Justers’ Restoration from Zion (Tikkun from Zion) Dan Juster updates “Your support for Restoration from Zion enables our involvements in many endeavors. So for example, my work for the Bible College (in Israel) is at no cost to the college in this crucial phase of getting off the ground. I have written much on the College in past letters. The full time program has started with 18 students!
This month I traveled to Vienna (Heinberg) for an important training meeting for new diplomats for Toward Jerusalem Council II. This is our effort to see all Church bodies come into alignment with Israel/the Jewish people and the Messianic Jewish Community. It will culminate in a council. Senior leaders of the TJCII movement spent five full days imparting to 15 younger future leaders for this work.
Restoration From Zion is the International apostolic and equipping ministry of Daniel and Patricia Juster based in Jerusalem and Benjamin and Lorena Juster in the United States. The ministry purposes to form solid networks of leaders around the world to partner towards the restoration of five-fold ministry (Eph. 4:11-13), building up the body so that we can all advance the unity of faith for Israel and the Church.

Arrows Nov 22 2024 Yeshua My Beloved

This week news reports revealed that a mosaic floor under a prison in Megiddo proclaimed “Yeshua is God.” I remember reading about the discovery in 2005 & wondering why there was such mystery surrounding what the mosaic said or depicted. Now I understand.  I take this archaeological find to finally be emerging from the shadows to be a sign — Let Israel now hear: Yeshua is God!
[Believe me when I say that they were not calling Yeshua “Jesus” in Israel even in 230 A.D.!]

Vision seen by Rania Sayegh, House of Prayer & Exploits in Nazareth, during the morning watch on the Eve of Yom Kippur

RANIA: On Friday morning 11/10/2024, the eve of Yom Kippur, during a prayer watch at HOPE, I saw the feet of the Lord Jesus and His hem moving all over the land of Israel.
On the hem of His garment around seven bells were hanging, and they were moving as He was walking the land on the eve of Yom Kippur. The sound of the bells was echoing in the land, waking people up. The sound of awakening was released all through the land of Israel.
Then I heard from the Holy Spirit, “After the echo of the sound of the bells will come the sound of the rushing rain over this land.”
And upon its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet, all around its hem, and bells of gold between them all around: a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe all around. And it shall be upon Aaron when he ministers, and its sound will be heard when he goes into the holy place before the Lord and when he comes out, that he may not die. Exodus 28:33-35 NKJV
In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Zechariah 14:20 NKJV
Indeed the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the world: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.’ ” And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken. Isaiah 62:11-12 NKJV
RANIA: I believe that the Lord is calling the people of Israel and its inhabitants to a place of healing but also to awaken to their calling as a priestly nation. He wants to tattoo His name on His people, Holiness unto the Lord. This is a season of sanctification and consecration, so that when we rise up to our priestly and kingly calling we will see rain restored and the harvest being released.
“And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.” Ezekiel 36:23-29 NKJV

This week I (Donna) got 2 emails from Israeli ministries that greatly encouraged me during a time I could really use it.
One, from Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way, who was catching up on emails and read my Oct 18th cover story, We Are Family: One New Man about the overwhelming sense of betrayal I felt watching the October Women Rise event in Washington, D.C. The betrayal response was because the event organizer promoted an Israeli anti-Messianic Jewish organization as a good place for Christians to donate to. I am still appalled that to my knowledge no one else has raised alarms about what was done, namely throwing Israel’s body of believers UNDER the bus!  Thank you, Yonit for writing to me about that article and encouraging me in it. Christians need to know what Israeli believers know already: IFCJ is opposed to Jews believing in Jesus.
Also Beer Sheva pastor Howard Bass wrote to me:  “What you have been doing, Donna, for more than 20 years is highlighting and emphasizing the Messianic Body in Israel so that Gentile Christians will be informed and recognize that there is something big and significant happening here that affects us all, as God works out His perfect plan of redemption of Gentiles and Jews for the glory of His Name. But your labors of love for Yeshua also grant us a much wider audience than some of us would ever otherwise have, so it also benefits us, not just 'them', and brings more praise and thanksgiving to our wonderful Father of us all. Ain't He good!”
He is indeed, Howard, and thank you for centering my eyes on what has always been my desire: to make known the least known of those in Israel who are doing the LORD’S work.
There are Christian organizations in Israel that many Christians donate to because they don’t really know the Israeli Messianic congregations and ministries. What they don’t know is that the Christian organizations cannot share their faith with Israelis they do humanitarian aid to under penalty of being kicked out of Israel. ONLY the Israeli congregations and ministries are carrying their faith legally to their countrymen – and doing humanitarian aid to them as well. There is still a great need to highlight the lesser known Israeli citizen-ministers of the Gospel in Israel and to encourage international Christians to partner with them for fulfilling God’s desire that “all Israel” be saved by faith in Israel’s Messiah Yeshua. International Christians still need to know that all of you Jewish believers in Israel’s Messiah are giving it your whole heart – sacrificially - to reach your fellow Israelis as God has elected you to do. No one ministry can do it all and all the ministries need the help of Christians in the nations for “all Israel” to be saved.
I am not against Christian ministries in Israel doing humanitarian aid. Israel needs help. But it is the difference in good, better & best. The best place to plant Christian donations is with the Messianic Jewish congregations and ministries in Israel who are after the spiritual harvest among their people.

Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

If you haven’t been a subscriber to this list for very long, you may not recognize this man’s name, Daniel Yahav, but he leads one of the largest Messianic congregations in Israel - Peniel, The Face of God in Tiberias. I just listened to this 9:20 minute update report Daniel is giving on the Israel after one year plus of war. His delivery is so calm.  He talks like he might if you were sitting right next to him having a quiet conversation. Daniel talks reality about this war and how it is impacting them all. I think this is a great one to listen to if you don't know much about what is going on for Israelis. His English is very good, and after this he addresses the same in German

Reuven Doron’s 11/15 article, DEI GRATIA * By the grace of God, is found on his OneNewManCall  Facebook page. In this Reuven is congratulating the “Free World” because God has raised up Donald Trump to lead the free world from the presidency of the United States. I am in 100% agreement with his strong comment. He adds, “We were not surprised that He was re-elected to take the helm of the free world once again. The Spirit of God showed this to us long ago in a dream, and our prayer has been directed for the formation of the new administration with the right people in the right positions for the needed work ahead.” I am thankful for this Israel-born Messianic Jew whose prophetic clarity over the years has been so consistent.
Reuven writes, “This emerging American administration has the potential to generate significant global change as the deep political conservative right is emboldened all over the world. After decades of the progressive “woke” left trying so hard to convince America that it’s not a great nation at all and that it has no divine calling, more Americans than ever are now embracing afresh the vision of their Founding Fathers. This vision of justice and freedom for all is taken directly from the biblical prophets of Israel, and there is only one more nation on earth that carries the same vision; and that is the nation that gave birth to these prophets!
Only the United States of America and Israel possess a “built-in” constitutional covenantal foundation in their DNA recognizing that they are called by God for His purposes. Our prayer is that this partnership in spirit and calling will mature and grow in the next four years into unprecedented heights. There is a lot of work to be done, and Trump’s administration will have to move fast and aggressively during the next two years to set the new reality in stone.

The Revive Israel leaders write about their winter discipleship program that just started: “These individuals have been deeply affected by the war and all that has transpired since October 7. This program offers them a time to find rest, renewal, and growth in their faith as they seek God, His will, and experience transformation through His power.
“We see 2025 as a year of renewal and restoration for our nation to find hope and healing. It is a crucial time. It is a time to be a refuge in the storm for Zion’s sake and we aim to do this in a number of ways: …. Third Day Organic Farm, we provide a safe place where individuals can experience spiritual, emotional, and physical healing our discipleship programs. Our vision for Friday Market was to have a place where Israelis could learn about our faith….taking young Israelis on International Outreach Programs…. With each project, we’re creating opportunities for renewal, resilience, and connection. We invite you to be a part our of mission and vision, standing with us in support for Zion’s sake. Chaim Malespin at the Aliyah Return Center asks, “What does this rise in antisemitism mean for Aliyah?” Most surprising to Israelis has been the global response to “primarily led by radical Jihadist groups, their rhetoric and influence on others, especially the younger generation, are concerning.” [*In the USA, the plan among Hamas leaders wiretapped over several days by the FBI in 1993, the exact strategy for developing this outcome was discussed for N. America. Europe & the UK were more than a decade ahead of the U.S. on the curve of Islamist terror groups embedding into their society.]
Chaim continues: “Many Jewish people, especially in Western Europe, are feeling less secure than ever. A recent incident in Amsterdam, where Israeli soccer fans were hunted down and beaten, was a shocking escalation. Not since Nazi Europe has something like this occurred. Applications, requests to gain information about moving to Israel (making Aliyah) among Jewish communities in Europe are skyrocketing! …. A tidal wave of Aliyah may very well follow this war once security in Israel is restored. We need to act now: Help us build the Lighthouse, the Aliyah Return Center, where we can continue to assist and help the Jewish immigration be absorbed in their ancestral homeland. Michael Beener of the Sderot City of Life congregation writes, “Why Supporting IDF Reservists is Our Calling.” He writes that the war Hamas initiated Oct 7th 2023 – “a relentless war, facing attacks from radical Islamist groups and even hostile nations” Israel was forced to call up reservists – men who served as they finished high school and who once released went on to establish normal civilian lives. Michael was reminded of the example of Moses in advanced years, needing his arms to be held up by Aaron and Hur until the victory was secured. The reservists aren’t Moses’ age, but being called up to such a long drawn out war has been taxing on them and their families. The whole nation is feeling it. Michael writes, “Today, we are called to be like Aaron and Hur, standing alongside those who defend our cities and lives. Our ministry has answered this call by providing essential supplies to support our reservists and help them stay strong in the face of adversity. Among the equipment we’ve sent are generators to provide stable power in critical moments, portable air conditioners to ease the extreme heat in shelters, gas stoves and cylinders for cooking in the field, and coffee kits to offer small moments of comfort amid the stress of battle. Avi Mizrachi, of Dugit, rightly calls the current war “Israel’s Worst Crisis in 50 Years” and says that even though Israel doesn’t observe the American Thanksgiving Day, they are full of thanksgiving for the help of American people of faith who have been helping Israeli Messianic ministries meet the needs of their people in so many way. Avi writes, “I believe that God has called us here for such a time as this. These are dark days in Israel, but Dugit Outreach Ministries is shining like a light in the darkness. Right now, there are 70,000 Israeli civilians away from their homes—staying with friends, living in their cars, or seeking other temporary shelter—and many of them do not know where their next meal will come from. There are so very many who need help and hope … and we need your support to reach them! May I ask you today to please give as generously as you are able at this time?....Even a few dollars—makes a difference for a family without food on the table. Please give your best gift today to help us help them.

Also from Dugit: Avi and Chaya Mizrachi's daughter D'vora Boaz gives her testimony in this video from the international Indigenous Coalition Initiative. "D'vora Boaz was born and raised in Israel. D'vora has a master's degree from Hebrew University in Political Science and International Relations. D'vora is an international conference speaker and the author of Deliver My People: The Story of the Bulgarian Jewish Community and Rabbi Daniel Zion. She lives in Israel with her husband and two children. D’vora spoke to a delegation of Indigenous peoples of the nations at the end of October 2024 about her experience of the war since 7 October 2023.” Watch her 20 minute testimony video here.

Miriam & Shlomy Abramov of Awake Israel post their short ministry updates on Facebook which is where I saw on Nov 11th Miriam giving a report on her profile page about the good time they were having at an event for just the Israeli Messianic leaders.
Miriam wrote, “Messianics in leadership are hosted annually by Joel Rosenberg. What a time each year. Lots of rich fellowship and old friends. How pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together. It’s so crowded. All locals only. Arab Jews and @@Rich teaching. We must always sit at the Lord’s feet whoever we are in Him. Great worship too. It’s a beautiful time of refreshing in Christ. We saw so many pastors, our past professors in (6 year) Bible School, bible publisher society, Worship leaders, Alliance director, South Beersheva Humanitarian aid director (we are Central local), Howard Bass, Beersheva, Arab youth work Alon with Arab youth, and a few special others. It was so special. Refreshed!

Norma wrote in her From this Mountain thoughts from Mt. Zion blog earlier in the month that I almost missed (11/8) but I’m so glad I discovered it yesterday because it is such an encouraging word for EVERYONE who have been praying for someone or many someones among their loved ones – family and friends sometimes over decades, yet still no sign of that person turning to the Lord. DO NOT GIVE UP because it may not come until you have already gone on to the Lord yourself! Do not underestimate how, “Our faith-love relationship with the Lord, touches our children, touches others, much more than we know. What we carry spills out of us, especially towards those in our family.” Do yourself a favor and go now to read Faith of Our Fathers.

Guy Cohen of the Harvest of Asher wrote about what he observed from Yeshua’s life on earth in the scriptures, “the way He engaged with the people, I see a standard that is opposite all earthly values…. In our world we see a spirit of revenge operating; you did it to me so I will do it to you. This is true for individuals and nations. However, Yeshua says we should not seek to take revenge but to reflect the Kingdom of God (Matthew 5:39-45). With this, we are called to operate in a spirit of discernment; while at the same time not being used as a punching bag, we are called to be wise as serpents and yet gentle as doves (Matthew 10:16).
Guy also speaks of the ambush of an organized group of Muslims in Amsterdam: “Throughout recent history, Europe allowed large numbers of people which carry a faith opposite the values taught in the Bible. This opened the door for ushering in false teachings, resulting in watering down the Christian belief system. Please pray that the leaders throughout Europe who are Believers in Yeshua, will stand firm in the faith and proclaim truth throughout the congregations. Pray for healing from the wounds - new and old which have been afflicted on the souls of the Jewish people.
Thank you for continuing to pray for: Our soldiers and their families. Those in the field, recovering from injuries and ones we have lost.| Wisdom to our leaders in government, military and security.| Peace for those still displaced from their homes.| Safety and release of the hostages.”

Leon Mazin who leads the Haifa Return to Zion congregation, also writes of the American Thanksgiving Day: “The most awesome thing about this holiday is that people express their gratitude to the Heavenly Father for the harvest and all the good things they had this year. The other tradition of this holiday includes volunteering for those less fortunate by donating food or time to homeless shelters or those in need. Though we do not celebrate this feast in Israel we want to take this moment to thank all of you for your generous hearts and dedication to our outreach projects. We want to share with you this longstanding and central tradition of giving thanks. With your prayer and financial support we can serve those who need help.
Recently our friends from America and Taiwan visited us and took part in making and distributing hot meal in the Home for elderly people. With your donations we continue as well to help new immigrants arriving in Israel. May your life be abundantly filled with God’s love and blessings! With love in Yeshua Messiah. Jennifer Guetta of Plant Hope Israel is making a call from December 2024 to March 2025 we will be remodeling this house and moving to a new home on the southside of the Sea of Galilee. Our new house is located at the southern gate of the village of Poriya Illit (“the heights of fruitfulness”)…. We pray that our house may become a gate for the Glory of Yeshua, a refuge and a house of prayer where God's feasts will be celebrated and where hearts will be touched. The house will also be used for living and being planted in the land and as an office for Plant Hope Israel Ministries, where we will hold workshops, worship nights, Bible studies and hopefully write many books.” They will need painters, builders, handymen, gardeners, packers and movers. Associate pastor at Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv Moti Cohen writes Raising up The Last Days Generation of how his own troubled youth was turned around when he was dramatically transformed after finding Yeshua. Now he ministers to youth himself “to lead pre-teens through the foundations of the faith and teach them to read their Torah portions for bar and bat mitzvah ceremonies.” | This is the generation that seeks Him, that seeks Your face, even Jacob. Psalm 24:6 |
He also writes that, “In the last year alone, eleven families have joined Tiferet Yeshua because they want to be in a congregation with a Hebrew-speaking children’s ministry. Most are immigrant families from the former Soviet Union or Ethiopia: their children, on the other hand, are Hebrew-speaking Israelis who want to learn and read the Bible in Hebrew. Our dedicated team of teachers and youth leaders faithfully serve in our children’s and youth ministry every week. When you support Tiferet Yeshua congregation, you are investing in the “Jacob Generation” -  the young men and women who will seek His face and one day cry out to the ancient gates and doors to lift up their heads to welcome back Yeshua, the King of Glory.

     * DONNA: I have always taken Psalm 24:6 as literal as it is written – the emphasis is just a little different:  This is the generation of them that seek Him, that seek your face, O Jacob. Selah. That is, The Christian generation that will seek the salvation of unsaved “Jacob” are the ones who are truly seeking God and His Yeshua. To do that, we must be the generation who supports the Messianic Jews like at Tiferet Yeshua who are reaching out to Jacob with the salvation in Yeshua. This is also why Christian supporters of Israel cannot remain being primarily the older generation: the younger generation of Christians must be brought in to the vision of the salvation of unsaved “Jacob.”

Generations ... & the Separations thereof

While preparing the graphic for this article below, it occurred to me that in the naming of Generations, it is a construct that creates even greater separation between the generations. We have family lines that include Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Parents, Children and Children's Children. Those are our true generations and we don't want to create anymore separation than is built in to the vast differences of minds and hearts that exist between Great Grandparents and Children's Children - and all in between! We want to emphasize the threads that bind us together, not the things that separate us from each other in families. It is the devil's job to separate us, it is the work of the LORD to bind us together closer in love, respect and just honest to God care for each other. Yeshua said to love your neighbor as yourself. We need to realize that we are to love the generations of our families as we love our our immediate household. This is family as I remember from my childhood...many things have indoctrinated us away from how we used to view our extended families.

The younger generations consistently judges the older generations as faulty in judgment and execution of the things of life. I'm a Baby Boomer and we did it too. We thought they had royally screwed up family relations and the country. It is part of the idealism of youth and also the arrogance of inexperience always assuming they would be far superior to the ethics and morality of their elders.

For me, I think the Baby Boomers certainly did not do a better job of family relationships or how the country should be run than their parents or grandparents. It was our inexperience that assumed we could do way better than they did. First off, all the "free love" missed the whole point of real love.

Was there hypocrisy in family relationships in the 1950's & early 60's? Of course there was. There has been hypocrisy in family relationships since the dawning of mankind...or at least to that point in Genesis 3:6. Many Baby Boomers grew up and recognized that stable society and stable families could not exist in the hippie lifestyle so many thought was "the answer." But without finding God in the process, we just developed our own generational failings - one being the materialism that has become the main focus of American life.

When the children we raised raised their own children, we were now three degrees removed from the real answer in life. I saw a quote on Facebook the other day, the gist of which was that when God is not in the midst of our families, we are only 2 generations from complete Godlessness in our family line. I also read how because of the godliness of one, that light that only Yeshua/ Jesus imparts to our lives, it can impact children and grandchildren even after we have gone to our reward.

That is a hope to hold onto as we are confronted with younger generations who believe like we did as emerging adults in decades past - that we are morally, ethically and practically superior to those who brought us into this world. In time, they will awaken to their own hubris. Life and experience has a way of removing that illusion. Humanity is humanity. Without the LORD revealing His Salvation to each of us, we only stumble through life wondering why we can't make all the pieces work.

The reason I began writing this is because I believe to a degree there is some of this within the spiritual family of God too. That many young spiritual adults still have strong degrees of the secular morals & ethics replacing God's Word as the highest authority. Yes: I am speaking of the sexual accusations boom going on right now.

Reading the latest explosive expose on Julie Roy's Report, I was shaking my head at the family explosion of yet another major ministry. The parents had approached a family situation in the way people of my generation would do that - within the family confines, not calling the cops, seeking to work through the accusations among family members privately. You know, I believe the same was probably true for how things were handled regarding the sexual accusation against the Gateway pastor. His pastor, I was told, was former police so he should have known better - YET I believe the older pastor handled the situation the way most Christian pastors would of their generation. And I am not far off of the same viewpoint: Because I read in my Bible - Matthew 18 specifically - that we are to forgive those who trespass against us and put it on the altar for GOD to judge. That is the exact opposite of the current generation of young people who are of the mind that God's instruction takes a back seat to calling the cops and pursuing our own justice in the courts.

Like the case of IHOP, the latest sexual accusation "mishandling" did not come about until a promotion that was expected was denied. If we continue to skip over that fact, we may fulfill the state's legality, but in the process we are going to demolish families and congregations. I do not think it worth it. I pray God will begin to show a better way. I fear this generation's view of morality and ethics is a time bomb of relationships.

On False Prophetic Words

This morning I got an email from the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders issuing a statement "Concerning False Prophetic Words Targeting President Donald Trump and America." In the statement they include that "Several of the names on this document are pioneers of the modern-day prophetic movement."
First, I am glad they giving notice to the fact that prophetic words that are incorrect carry "the potential to incite violence and cause division in the name of God." Like prayers that do not reflect God's heart can be answered by demonic spirits sent out to steal, kill and destroy based on the false prayer declarations, the same is true of prophetic declarations that come from a person's own mindset instead of God's.
Although unnamed, the prophet they are calling out is an Irish lady whose prophetic center is in Glasgow, Scotland. Whatever this lady thinks she knows about Trump and America, it is a foreign knowledge of Trump and America. Prophets ALWAYS filter what God is speaking to them through their own frail humanity of limited understanding. God says something and the prophet interprets what the prophet thinks it means. Sometimes they interpret correctly, sometimes not.
This is as true for the prophets who came together under the ACPE to call out the Irish prophet as it is for any other prophet prophesying today. Just having an organization of like-minded prophets gather together, does not guarantee against prophecies that miss what God is saying.
I have been of the mind that we put the cart before the horse about prophecy. We should be teaching people not which "School of the Prophets" to follow, but how to judge EVERY prophetic word we hear separately based on what God's Word says and knowing what God's heart really is.
I can tell that the Irish lady in Glasgow is associated with prophets in other nations. They have a network called Global Prophetic Alliance and my guess is there is more than one prophet connected there disgruntled by the domination of the prophectic by American prophets. Just my guess - not based on anything else.
There are "Schools of the Prophets" even in the USA. This group disagrees with that other group and they both disagree with yet another "school" of prophets. Even though it is mentioned in scripture - although translated variously also as "a company of prophets" and "sons of the prophets" - I have never cared for the idea of schools, or sons, or companies of the prophets. Mostly based on 2 Kings 2:15-18.
Paul said we all should "Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy....the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation."
That is something entirely different from the God-commissioned role of a prophet. Not every one who is prophesying to world issues has been called by God to do so. We have to go back to BIBLE 101 to learn the difference and find our rightful place before we see a real end to prophetic chaos.
I do not believe we are going to find that in the various "Schools of the Prophets" because their alignment is with each other. The prophet that can speak to world issues has to speak accurately what God has said, not how they filter His Words through their human mindset.
It was the "sons/company/school of the prophets" who didn't have a clue what God was doing, SHAMED God's real successor prophet Elisha to send out a search party for Elijah in the hills, when Elisha clearly saw that God had taken Elijah to heaven on a chariot of fire. (2 Kings 2).
We have to judge each word given - not each person claiming to be a prophet! Good Heavens! Who has time for that? I have never even heard of the Irish woman in Glasgow before this denunciation.
What? We don't have any American prophets that could have been called out because of delivering prophetic words that demons could attempt to give devastating action to? I think we do. I'm not calling for a war among the various schools of the prophets, I'm calling for them to recognize the real issues here - the lack of understanding the parameters of prophesying that is available for all to operate in, and a God-called prophet to address what God is speaking to a nation, or to other nations.
Most of what I see are prophets who are not staying in their own lane - trying to prophecy to a faraway country without God's heart for that country.
Above all to teach people how to judge prophetic words, not prophets. As John warned, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."
