Welcome to the City of the Great King

Let me just say upfront that I have been critical of the American prophetic
stream for many years. My thinking is that for a large part of them, what could they know when they are missing God's heart and plans for Israel, and the significance of the growing body of Messiah in Israel? That has made me doubt them on every level of their prophetic gifting.
Of course the excesses and abuse they put up within their ranks also played into my overall low view of the American prophetic stream. But
the failure to see Israel, that was really the most troubling to me of all.
Over the yeas I have withdrawn further and further from the American
prophets because of their failure to see how God raising a body of
believers up in Israel is CRITICAL to His plans to complete everything
He started in Genesis 1. I have been unable to trust their prophetic
vision even when they were right - like about how good Trump would
turn out to be - because of the blind spot most of them have about
Israel. While that is the main issue that caused my doubts in their prophetic
vision, there were many other issues of excesses and abuse that
reinforced my doubt in them as a whole. There are exceptions to
that blind spot. There are prophets who have long seen the
importance of the body in Israel and Israel’s importance to God
- so by extension to the followers of Jesus internationally.
Mike Bickle is one, Chuck Pierce another, and of course, Rick Ridings
who got himself to Israel long, long ago to establish the 24/7 prayer
and worship in Jerusalem. Ridings went to Israel not establish a name
for himself in Israel, but to impart a gift to the body in Israel of
establishing 24/7 prayer in Israel and the surrounding Arab
nations. That’s how I see it. There are other prophets who have
embraced Israel, but have failed to recognize the importance of the
Israeli body of Messiah. That is a huge mistake.
It is a dangerous pitfall for Christians who discover Israel from God's
eyes, but go forward in that downplaying or completely ignoring the
believers in Israel as if they are too small to be of consequence. It is
a particular ditch that already big names in Christianity fall into. It
would be better not to try to make yourself the big shot in Israel
while completely ignoring what the Holy Spirit is doing among the
body there.
Today I saw a Christian magazine touting a prayer team for Israel
having the largest religious Facebook page in the world with 40 million
fans. "The prayer team has more fans on Facebook than the
next seven Israeli pages combined, one of which belongs to
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."
Since the late 1980's, I have never known that prayer team minister
to engage with or speak about the approximately 30,000 followers of
Yeshua in Israel today. His efforts are strictly geared toward political
support of Israel. That is a problem.

Thank God for his efforts on behalf of Israel, but this is the other side
of the ditch that believers can fall into when it comes to Israel. This the
side of the ditch that a great many evangelical supporters of Israel have
fallen into and their blindness to the body in Israel is hurting God’s plan
that believers in the nations to help Israeli ministries reach Israelis with
the gospel.
To align ourselves with God's purposes for Israel, for the joining of the
Jewish believers and the believers from all nations, into "one new man"
in the Messiah, we have to find the narrow path that keeps us out of
both sides of the ditch. We also need to pray for breakthroughs for those
believers who have fallen into the ditch on the right and the ditch on the
left of God's plans for the body of Messiah in Israel and the salvation of
"all Israel".
It is actually a breakthrough that is happening now, and which some in
Israeli ministries are strongly resisting. The spiritual reality is that God
opening the eyes of prophetic ministries to the body of Messiah in Israel,
and through those Blood-bought connections, to the significance of Israel
in God's master plan for us all.
I had not realized it before, but this morning it has dawned on me that
God's hand is in this. I am excited to see those from the prophetic stream
discovering Israeli Ministries and through them the significance of Israel.
This is the right order of approach to all Christians in the nations to Israel.
This has been a missing piece of the prophetic puzzle for too many in the
prophetic stream for too long. WE NEED THEM to SEE TOO! Good for
the Israeli ministries who are extending a brotherly welcome to them, and
letting them see, Jesus has a witness in Israel that is a complete five-fold
ministry.
Let’s pray that the prophetic stream finally begin to see Israel, and the need
for order in their approach to supporting of Israel through the servants
of God in Israel.

More on the Tikkun Attack

Hannah Weiss is formidable in her research skills, but her 5-part series detailing every failure and bad report she can find on the web of the prophetic and apostolic movements in the United States does not mean she is correct in painting Asher Intrater and Dan Juster as just the same as all those. She will get no argument from me that there are plenty of failures and lack of accountability in the prophetic movement in the US. Not from me and certainly not from Asher and Dan either.
The problem I have with this series is she is building up a guilty-by-association case against two specific individuals, Israeli Messianic ministers Asher Intrater, Daniel Juster and by extension all the family of congregations and ministries connected with their Tikkun Ministries International. Her evidence against Asher and Dan is non-existent and only persuading readers on the basis of her pointing out the failures of US ministries and telling us Asher and Dan are just like them. That is ironic because Asher and Dan are also well aware of the failings of the prophetic and apostolic ministries in the U.S. and have been committed for decades to raising the bar on the issues that caused those failings. (As if Daniel Juster could be equated with those that gave Todd Bentley a pass for his immorality! Bentley could have been forgiven if he truly repented, but if he had been affiliated with Tikkun he would not have been restored to ministry.) It seems that for many who want to see this series go out far and wide, that anyone connected with prophetic or apostolic ministry are already heretics on that belief alone. Some in Israeli ministry do not want charismatic ministry gaining any ground in Israel. It is pretty clear that some want to destroy the reputations of Intrater, Juster and many of other ministers who are associated via Tikkun. Why? Probably because they are the most developed interconnection of ministries in Israel. This is called fruitfulness where I come from. But where I come from they also say, They only tackle the guy running the ball. Not only are the number of ministers who are affiliated with each other in Tikkun a sign of fruitfulness, but so is the number of people they are collectively reaching with the Gospel in Israel. There is also the matter of how many Christians in the nation are linking arms with the Tikkun ministries to support the vision for the salvation of Israel - both in the spiritual and political sense of that vision. That apparently scares some of the other ministries who cannot tolerate seeing what good things God is doing among the Tikkun Israel ministries. We all run our own race and will not win by trying to trip up others running in this spiritual race. Here is a thought for you: Tikkun means Restoration. From the beginning of their 40-something years together as Tikkun, the three main leaders, Asher, Dan and Eitan Shishkoff have shared a common vision for Restoration. They call themselves a Restoration ministry. Included in that classic Jewish concept of the restoration of the world, of the three Tikkun Messianic leaders is also their conviction that God is restoring the body of Messiah to the fulness of spiritual gifts and offices. Any believer can read that those things existed in the first century of the faith in the book of Acts, and many of us believe that in these last days God is restoring those again among His "one new man" in Messiah. So here is bottom line: the defaming and slanderous case that is being made against the Israeli Tikkun ministers is about those who consider gifts of the Spirit and offices of the prophets and apostles to be done away with; furthermore that any who believe and operate in there are heretics. Hannah claims she believes the apostolic calling remains relevant, yet she is intent of positioning Asher and Dan specifically in the framework she is presenting as unacceptable due to the failures of American prophets and apostolic networks. Is that it? The fact that there is a network of ministries must mean they are false prophets and apostles demanding all Israeli ministries come under their authority? That is not happening and you know it. Which is why I continue to condemn this series and why I am personally extremely disappointed in Kehila for publishing a series that specifically, personally seeks to destroy fellow Israeli ministers of the Gospel by name. It is incredibly hurtful to the targets and blows past all the accepted boundaries of how we are to handle disagreements in the body. Some that don't like my response to all of this have been deafening in their own silence about this attack series on Asher and Dan. In the greater world of faith in Yeshua there are many differences of conviction and expressions of faith. It doesn't matter what you personally believe, you have no right to judge Asher Intrater and Daniel Juster in this very public disgraceful witch hunt. And let's face it, all the rest of you non-Tikkun affilitated Israeli ministries who operate in the gifts of the Spirit, who believe in the restoration of the office of prophet and/or apostles, if you say nothing now on behalf of Tikkun ministries, take it to the bank you will be targeted eventually too. Anyone remember that famous Martin Niemoller quote from post-war Germany? I personally believe that God is going to rise up and defend Asher and Dan and all of Tikkun from this attack. But I also know that does not relieve me from standing up and opposing the evil that is being perpetrated against them. It is time to speak, not a time to fall silent.

My Statement About the Defamation

Daniel Juster, Asher Intrater & Eitan Shishkoff
founders of Tikkun (Restoration) Ministries

I had no idea that Asher Intrater had been under attack over his teachings by some in the Israeli ministries for nearly 3 years. I didn't become aware of it until there was a witch hunter article written about him late last year. Then around Sept 2017, a couple of Israeli ministries private messaged me about their assumptions of what Asher was doing wrong in their eyes.
It came to light that for at least a couple of years Israeli Ministries leaders have been discussing objections to Asher's teaching in semi-annual leaders meetings. Apparently the thing that really ticks them off is thinking that the Tukkun International family of ministries - which is quite extensive and fruitful - considers theirs an apostolic work. Really the hostilities have focused on Asher Intrater and Daniel Juster thinking of themselves as apostolic.
There has been a considerable amount of pouring over the videos and articles and books of these two men to find points to take issue with. And that's exactly the order I believe it is, much like the political machinations we have been witnessing here in the USA: Name the man then the inquisition begins and the AG will find something to charge them with. I have become so sick of what has been going on politically in the false accusations of Trump campaign collusion with Russia... little did I know my friends in Tikkun were going through much the same behind the scenes in Israel.
Back in the summer of 2016, after being moved by hearing several of the messages that Asher Intrater delivered while on his speaking tour in the United States, I began to transcribe those messages unbeknownst to Asher. After I had done a few, I let him know what I was doing. The message was on how we could proactively prepare for what was coming in the end times. Like him, I believe we have the signs for that coming all around us - shouting at us from the headlines, current events and even the state of people all around us.
By the time I quit transcribing those messages I had about 17 messages. Then I took those messages and put them into an order that laid out a stream of thought about a lot of issues surrounding the main point of what we can do be prepared for the days ahead. It was a book — a handbook of the end times in my view. Of course Asher and I have completely different writing styles. He is pithy, I draw things out because I want explanations to be complete. I sent him what I had assembled from his messages and then he went into seclusion for a month and wrote the much shorter, Alignment.
When I first started transcribing the messages and encouraging Asher that he needed to get into writing what I heard him teaching in the US the summer of 2016, he told me, I think you are going to get me in trouble. We laughed about it but it was true, because nothing makes believers come against other believers faster than differences in beliefs about the end times.
Nevertheless, I thought it was important for Asher to speak to the people who share the same convictions that we do: not a pre-Tribulation rapture of the Church leaving the Jewish people to find faith in the midst of the reign of the anti-Christ. No. We believe Israel is being saved right now (Israel representing all Jews). We Christians are not here as potted plants. We are here to be part of the greatest outpouring of salvation that the world has ever seen, including Israel.
I have said all that to say this: I have a pretty good grip on the kind of men that the Tikkun ministries are, especially Asher Intrater, Daniel Juster and Eitan Shishkoff, but also all the young ministers they have poured their lives into mentoring and raising up to take their places as the baton is passed to the new generation of Israeli Messianic ministers. Many of them are already operating in those roles.
So it really irks me to know that the Israeli ministry leaders were not content to continue discussions between themselves in private, but they felt the need to get their speculations and accusations against Asher and Dan out into the greater public domain.
I have read the document that was put out by their leadership group called "To All Interested Parties" and it casts Asher, Dan and the Tikkun Ministries as a whole into "suspicions". If I were Asher Intrater, I would not have signed my name to that document because it puts them under a cloud of suspicion publicly.
Oh, I understand why Asher signed it, and why they have bent over backwards trying to keep the peace with their brothers in the Israeli ministry leadership who took exception to how they were operating their Tikkun Ministries. They have been acting according to the admonition of Romans 12:18: If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
But now this is out in the public domain in a way that I believe is defamation and character assassination of my brothers Asher Intrater and Daniel Juster, I want to go on record to call it what it is: witch hunting, jealousy, non-charismatic vs.charisimatic. It is biting and devouring these brothers and it is bringing shame on the entire body of Messiah in Israel.
LET ME SAY THIS: Everything I am saying here, I am saying from my own heart without any consultation with the Tikkun ministers whatsoever.
I have no intentions of keeping silent as a public push is made to destroy the reputations of these men. It is wrong, against the Word of God and it should come to a full stop now.

Breaking through

How do we break through the wall of what Christians want to know about Israel into the realm of how God is actually moving by the Spirit of Messiah in Israel?

If you ask the majority of Christians which they would rather hear about, the religious Jews latest step toward building the Third Temple or how the living temple is increasing in Israel, it seems the majority are more captivated by the labor of the flesh rather than the labor of the Spirit.

For decades the major Christian TV networks have made unsaved religious Jews their 'star' guests on programs while shunning the Jewish, even Israeli Jewish ministries of Jesus. That is simply crazy. When I hear that some big ministry that has been quasi (if not outright) rejecting of Israel's importance to the Church making a turnaround to embrace Israel, what a letdown when I find out that they are embracing unsaved religious Jews as their "rabbi". Like moths to the flame...or like jumping from the frying pan to the fire, if you will.

Look, I know that I have nothing that God has not given me, including my recognition of the Israel of faith in Yeshua-Jesus being our real Israel-connection and the passion of God's heart at this time, but there is something else at work here and that is our own love of the truth. If we are not open to hear it, we won’t. If we will not go where the truth leads us, then we will be led down ‘rabbi trails’ instead. We can fall into the ditch on both sides of the narrow path.

There is a partial blindness that is cast over the Church who are going only part way into understanding who we are Blood-related to in Israel. We have a family connection to the Jewish believers in Israel and the salvation of Israel rests upon the witness they are giving right now.

Why is that so hard to understand? So for years the major Christian ministries who support Israel, including almost all of the Christian TV networks, have justified their focus on unsaved religious groups like the Temple Mount Institute or political figures by claiming they are just trying to make Israel jealous of the Gospel.

How's that working out for you? It's not.

Why? Because in their view, how you turn your back on the Israeli Jewish community says a lot more about you than your profession of "love" for Israel. From their point of view, you are only interested in Jesus coming back, the Church being Raptured and the Jews plunged into the worst Tribulation period the Jews have ever seen - and believe me, brother, that is saying a lot! From their expectations of the future, both the religious and the secular political Israeli, whatever motivates you to help them is fine, they can use it because they don’t see your scenario panning out. They have their own scenarios of where all this is leading them for the future.

Look there has never been a more important time to stand with Israel, but if you have no interest and no connection to the Israeli community of faith, you are settling for good when God desires that you enter the fullness of His unfolding plans in Israel. It is really that simple.

God's major priority is not that you stand with Israel, but that you stand with Yeshua's followers in Israel. If you stand with them, you will naturally also stand with Israel in the political-international realm.

So what holds you back? Is it your fear that Israel means more  to God than the Church? That has motivated a lot of why the Messianic Jews were cut off from the Church throughout Church History, so why wouldn't it be an unspoken fear within many today? It is as Paul called it in Romans 11, "boasting" against the natural branches and warns Christians not to fall into that trap of arrogance regarding what God will do in restoring Israel through salvation.

If you are blind to all the scripture that is written about God's intentions that "all Israel shall be saved" in the end then you are on extremely precarious ground - regardless of how big your Christian ministry is! If I were you, I would do something about that - like repent of your fears and hardness of heart toward the believing community of Jews in Israel and around the world.

Awaken to what the Holy Spirit is doing toward Israel! Then move to uphold those He is doing it through. It may cost you some of your treasured contacts within the Israeli government or religious figures, but it is better to work with those that God's Spirit is flowing through than 10,000 who make your contact with the Israeli believers a deal-breaker for friendship with you. Selah.

Pictured The Mercy Gate — Prophetic Significance

The Hebrew name of the Golden Gate is Sha'ar HaRachamim, Gate of Mercy.  It is the Eastern Gate of Jerusalem and also called the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:2). It is currently the oldest gate in the Old City, having been constructed in the 6th or 7th century AD. Also, it is the gate that gives the most direct access to the temple mount—if a person could pass through the arches of the Eastern Gate, he would be very close to where the Jewish temple used to stand. When Jesus entered Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives in Matthew 21, He used a gate in the same location as the current Eastern or Golden Gate.

The Eastern Gate was sealed shut in AD 1540–41 by order of Suleiman the Magnificent, a sultan of the Ottoman Empire. It’s believed that the reason for the closing of the Eastern Gate was to prevent the Jewish Messiah from gaining entrance to Jerusalem. The Muslim Suleiman was attempting to thwart the Messiah’s plans with sixteen feet of cement.

According to Jewish tradition, the Shekhinah (שכינה) (Divine Presence) used to appear through the eastern Gate, and will appear again when the Anointed One (Messiah) comes (Ezekiel 44:1–3) and a new gate replaces the present one; that might be why Jews used to pray in medieval times for mercy at the former gate at this location,[1] another possible reason being that in the Crusader period, when this habit was first documented, they were not allowed into the city where the Western Wall is located. Hence the name "Gate of Mercy".

The Eastern Gate has remained sealed for nearly the past 500 years. It’s the sealing of Jerusalem’s Eastern Gate that has caused many students of prophecy to sit up and take notice.

The book of Ezekiel contains several references to a gate that faces east. In Ezekiel 10:18–19, the prophet sees the glory of the Lord leave the temple through “the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house”; the glory then moves east of the city to the Mount of Olives (Ezekiel 11:23). Later, Ezekiel sees the glory of the Lord return to the temple via “the gate facing east” (Ezekiel 43:1–5).

JPost Stacking the Deck of Public Opinion Against Messianics

Last week a Jerusalem Post article titled, Will Israel Ever Accept Messianic Jews? came to my notice. The sub-heading read: Indeed, Messianic Jews are largely shunned by mainstream Jewish communities around the world, and are commonly seen as proselytizers.
It also noted:

> Rabbinical court rules against Jewish marriage rites for Messianic Jews and
> Study: One-fifth of Jewish millennials believe Jesus is the son of God

Apparently the writer, Tamara Zieve was doing damage control after bad press from the recent case of a Swedish Messianic Jew, the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, was deported last month because of her faith in Yeshua. This was an attempt to justify an unjust, if not illegal deportation of a Jew who believes in Jesus.

After reading the article, I was quite annoyed by it and began to attempt to post comment. This began a struggle as over the next 30 to 45 minutes I struggled to re-register to the JPost site and post my comment which kept disappearing - sometimes completely and sometimes with my closing thought cut off mid-sentence.. I would re-enter it again, but over and over my comment would disappear just as I posted it.

Finally after struggling all that time to get my comment posted, I was suddenly redirected to a page that warned me Visually and Audibly that I was on a Malicious Pornographic page attempting to infect my computer. I had to shut down my browser to get out of it.

Say what you will about "coincidences", but it is not the first time that the Jerusalem Post has blocked my comments regarding the Messianic Jews of Israel, nor is it the me only who has experienced technical obstruction. I have heard of other pro-Messianic comments being blocked. I was so angry about it that I went to Twitter where JPost on Twitter follows me and I tweeted:

Afterwards, some on Facebook reported that they saw my incomplete post on Jpost website. Yes: I am publicly accusing the Jerusalem Post online of purposefully obstructing by technical means the comments of those who are pro-Messianic faith. This has been going on for years, and it must be stopped!

With that said, here is the comment that I sought to post:

This article is a case of strongly prejudicial reporting and certainly reflects more on the reporter's biases than upon the reality on the ground. I know a large amount of Israeli Messianic Jews and of their communities, and these are people who are not "largely shunned" by anyone except the ultra-religious sects which are often at odds with the thinking of mainstream Israelis. In fact, in many Israeli arenas, the Messianic Jews are thought of as highly honorable, generous, loyal and courageous people.

Also  prejudicially stated: "Messianic Jews are largely shunned by mainstream Jewish communities around the world". Around the world Messianic Jews enjoy their own space of worshipping God as they see fit, like many of the sects of Judaism which the ultra-religious in Israel also look down upon.  Plus, it is only in Israel where the government has ALLOWED the ultra-religious to judge the authenticity of faith of all other sects of Judaism. Everywhere else in the world Jews of every religious or non-religious point of view can live without fear of being expelled by the narrow-minded decisions of ultra-religious Jews. They can get married in their own nation. They don't have to fear the stalking of their children, homes and workplaces.

This article is so slanted, in fact, it is worthless - except to try to trick people into thinking some is bad wrong with Messianic Jews in Israel in order to justify injustice against them. Sorry but you can't explain away injustice with what amounts to a false narrative against these good people. -end-

I believe it is important for Christians who support Israel to STOP letting abusive conduct and statements about the Israeli community of Messianic Jews go by unchallenged. They are our spiritual family in Jesus, and if you think it will ingratiate you to Israeli Jews, it may for some, but God will be sorely displeased by the betrayal.

We Three Kings of Orient Are

How appropriate that on "Giving Tuesday" I awoke thinking about why the first century believers banded together, pooling their resources so everyone would have enough to live on as they were witnesses of the faith of Yeshua . . . .and how there is a similar dynamic going on in Israel today.

I have long believed that from the time of Acts 12 when Herod executed James the brother of John, and then also arrested Peter because it pleased the unsaved Jews, that the apostle Paul purposely set himself to establish churches giving to help the community of faith in Israel. The reason I believe that is because it was exactly the reason Paul and Barnabus traveled to Jerusalem where they became witness to the events that saw James was killed by Herod and Peter imprisoned. (Acts 11:26-12:3)

Paul, a former extremely zealous religious persecutor of the followers of Yeshua, understood full well that this was not a problem that was going away any time soon. I believe Paul also understood that it was no coincidence that by prophetic direction of the Holy Spirit through Agabus in Antioch, they were moved to collect an offering to be taken up to Jerusalem prior to a worldwide famine to be taken to help out the believers in Israel. It was going to be a worldwide famine, yet they were taking special measures to insure that the community of faith in Israel had provision to deal with it. That is not about favoritism, it was about necessity. (Romans 11:28)

It was no coincidence then that Paul and Barnabas took the offering to give to the community of faith in Jerusalem right at the time that two major leaders of the community were targeted by authorities - one to death, one to imprisonment. We are talking about Divine timing, not coincidence. (Romans 15:27)

Paul left that scene, heading back to the churches they were establishing among the Gentiles and from that point on a major feature of his teaching was that they were to set aside donations specifically for the support of the community in Israel. (2 Corinthians 8; 16:1 & 3; Romans 15:26-27, 2 Corinthians 9:12-13; Acts 20:4).  The apostle was urging the churches to continue in the giving not because of the famine, but because the faith would always have the believers in Israel in a bind. He was absolutely correct.

To this day the Israeli ministries are financially squeezed. Only a few are funded well and most struggle. What the international Church does not recognize is that the support dynamic that the apostle Paul sought to set in motion from them to the Israeli community of faith, was an absolute necessity. It was then and it is now today. (2 Cor. 8:10-11) He often referred to the community of faith in Israel as "the poor."

That is one of the great challenges of the Israeli congregations and ministries, for there are many poor among them.  Sometimes that is because of the high cost of living in Israel, sometimes because of such a great number of immigrants with limited earning power, and sometimes it is just because of persecutions - religious pressures applied to employers and landlords against the believers.

Few Israeli ministries are banded together in order that the living needs of all are met and so that the ministries can continue to advance as they were in the Acts of the Apostles. The modern mindset considers that kind of sharing resources "communist."  I have actually heard it called "communist" by an American pastor famous for preaching a Prosperity gospel. But this isn't communist ideology, it is merely a necessity required to take care of a large network of ministers who desire to produce more fruit in Israel than they could in standalone ministries. Our friends at Tikkun Israel International practice this. It requires a deep commitment to the work of the ministry and a solid trust of each other, not dictatorial communism.

We cannot view ministry in Israel as we do in most parts of the developed world. The experiential wisdom of ministry life in the U.S., for example, is vastly different from ministry life in Israel. In America most church staff are paid good salaries, in Israel people in ministry have to raise their own individual support for the privilege of being in the ministry. There are sacrifices most church ministries have no clue their Israeli counterparts are making.  The hard fast rules that apply outside of Israel, are not always so in Israel.

Some churches have a hard fast rule that they don't donate to website ministries. Big mistake in Israel. Like our friends at KehilaNews.com who are providing a high value resource to the whole community of faith in Israel by making them known - large or small, regardless of charismatic or non - to the international churches...and interested as-yet-unsaved Israelis in their Hebrew KehilaNews site.

The same goes for numerous website-ministries in Israel that are in the Hebrew language that allow interested as-yet-unsaved Israelis to investigate the faith and hear the testimonies of Israeli believers in the complete privacy of their own homes & computers. You may have no idea what a powerful tool this is for the Medabrim or One For Israel sites. Or the internet TV and Radio ministries like Yeshuachai TV (Yeshua is Alive or Yeshua Live) or Radio Hadashot mi Israel  (Good News from Israel).

The apostle Paul understood that the need for practical material support would be an ongoing situation, and that the solution would lie in the international churches recognizing this as their duty to support the community of faith in Israel. Is it any wonder that the devil is so dead set on keeping that understanding from dawning on the international saints that there are roadblocks to understanding thrown up everywhere  from the traditional denominational churches to the charismatic independents.

Just for starters, consider how many Christian ministries teach that the apostle Paul made a huge "mistake" when he finally travelled to Jerusalem in order to deliver the donations that he had collected from  all the churches that he was the apostle over. He was urging that collection for the community of faith in Israel for over 3 years and he intended to deliver it by the Feast of Shavuot, or Pentecost - a prophetic marker for the salvation of the Jewish people.

Yet many Christians preach and teach that Paul made a big mistake because he was warned every step of the way by prophets that it would end up with him imprisoned in chains. (Acts 20:23) That was no mistake in judgment! That was the measure of commitment that Paul had made to the cause of his journey to Jerusalem to deliver the contributions from the churches to the community of faith in Israel. Paul was committed to a Divine purpose, and I believe he had even consecrated himself to the purpose when he took a Nazarite vow in Cenchrea (Acts 18:18) and he fulfilled his vow in Jerusalem when delivering the church contributions to the Jerusalem ministry leaders. (Acts 21:20-26)

While in Israel, still en route to Jerusalem with representatives from the giving churches, listen to what Paul told the prophets and believers in Caesarea:

"After we had been there several days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. Coming over to us, he took Paul's belt, bound his own feet and hands, and said, "- The Holy Spirit says: 'In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and hand him over to the Gentiles.'" When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. Then Paul answered, "Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." When he would not be dissuaded, we fell silent and said, "The Lord's will be done." Acts 21:10-14

It may be difficult to fathom, but we are seeing in Israel among many, similar high commitment, personal sacrifice and consecration in order to minister the Word of God and the life of Yeshua to Israelis.

Every week we feature ministries in this prayer summary that are just as worthy of the support of the churches as they were in the first century when the apostle Paul carried their donations to Jerusalem to deliver to the community of faith.

I hope you see it, and if you don't, please study for yourself the things I have scripture referenced here. It has been my great honor for two decades to have seen these things from God's Word, and to act upon that knowledge to the best of my ability. I hope you will too and "Giving Tuesday" is an excellent place to start.

We are like the Christmas carol, "We Three Kings of Orient Are bearing gifts we traverse afar" to lay our gifts at the feet of the body of Messiah in Israel so that Yeshua may continue to raise up His kingdom throughout  Israel by the irreplaceable witness of local Israeli ministries and believers.  - Donna Diorio

Prophets Who Cannot See Israel in God's Plans

About half of Christianity are clueless about God's intentions for Israel in the days ahead. Many have heard about the Jews coming to faith and the body of Messiah in Israel, they know what scriptures we base our eschatology theology on, yet they reject it as of no consequence.

Many of these are from the highest profile charismatic, prophetic ministers in the world - so how can they not understand the basic faithfulness of God to return to Israel with faith? I don't honestly have an answer for that beyond what Paul warned against in Romans 11:18: arrogance.

HERE IS WHAT I BELIEVE ABOUT THAT: Many who are currently following eschatological and theological beliefs that deny and discount the place of Israel and the body of the Lord in Israel, will at some point have their blindness removed - exactly as Jews are having their blindness removed.

In fact, I believe there is a direct correlation to the restoration of spiritual sight in the blindness of the Jews to their Messiah and the blindness of Christians to God's intentions and plans toward Israel.

As we are seeing more and more Jews awaken to their Messiah, we are seeing more and more Christians awaken to God's intentions and plans toward Israel. As more Jews come to faith in Yeshua, more Christians will enter into the revelation of Israel's place in God's heart and God's faithfulness to return to the Jews with salvation in Yeshua.

I do not say, You are all going to be condemned to hell those of you Christians who can't see the significance of Israel and the Jews.

I do say, In the name of Jesus: Turn, turn, turn.
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
