Lou Engle’s IFCJ Folly

Unequally Yoked!

I could write a book on the ignorance of Lou Engle thinking he is standing with Israel well in a partnership with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews WHO OPPOSE MESSIANIC JEWS IN ISRAEL & anywhere else. Lou Engle has made a massive misstep.

How is it that Lou Engle has rubbed elbows with Israel and American Messianic Jews for years and has failed to grasp that Christians cannot align with the Jewish organizations that oppose Jews being in the faith of Jesus?

IFCJ obviously courted Lou Engle and every dime they get through this strategic alignment is STEALING from the Gospel-carriers in Israel! Not only that, it will further embolden the religious opposition against Messianics in Israel. How long will Christians continue in these blind spots about Israel and God's plans to join Christians to our SPIRITUAL FAMILY IN ISRAEL, the believing Jews who follow and preach Yeshua/Jesus.

This is TERRIBLE! The very definition of spiritually “unequaled yoked.” In the days we live God is endeavoring to bring Christians and the Israeli Messianic Jews into a unity according to the Ephesians 2:15 spiritual marriage of “one new man” in the faith of Messiah. Only those Christians and Messianic Jews who enter into God’s plan from this point on are advancing the Kingdom of God and the salvation of “all Israel” in the days ahead. Those who refuse on either side cannot fulfill God’s ultimate purposes for the restoration of His WHOLE family in humankind.

Just like we are warned in many places not to be “unequally yoked” with unbelievers in marriage relationships (2 Corinthians 6:4, Exodus 34:10-16, and Deuteronomy 7:1-5) our spiritual alignments in Israel are to be made with our spiritual kin in Israel – the body of Messiah. The reason is the same as it is in marriage between a man and woman: to enter into a marriage to an unbeliever will put us at cross-purposes with the unbeliever we have yoked ourselves to. Such unions will likely turn hearts away from God’s will because believers and non-believers have fundamentally opposing spiritual natures. The number one being as the Apostle Paul said, “They are enemies of the Gospel.”

Many a well meaning Christian has been turned against of the body of Jesus-followers in Israel, opposing the Messianic Jewish believers in their efforts to bring the Good News to their fellow Israeli citizens. These Christian leaders refuse to listen to the reality of the wrong path they have taken, some have fallen deep into the lie that the Israeli Messianic believers in Yeshua are “a cult” because their “friends”  the unbeliever Jewish organizations who receive donations from Christians have told them it is so.

 When will the long list of Christians who have locked in with the unbelief of Israeli Jews understand that it is the faith of Israeli Messianic Jews that carry the anointing of the Holy Spirit to bring “all Israel” unto faith in Messiah Yeshua?

Lou Engle should be hearing about the folly of this alliance with IFCH from everyone who cares. The influence he has with young people is also going to continue to lead them down the wrong path regarding Israel. Enough with the willy nilly approach of Christians to Israel!
