Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer

A most excellent place to start because Americans need to WAKE UP what is gathering
strength by the minute within our nation to cause even greater distress than we
have already seen in the many years: Avner Boskey’s The Ghost of Manhattan: When the Upper West Side Turns into the Lower West Bank |
There’s a new sheriff in town. New York City –
known as ‘the City that never sleeps’ and ‘the Big Apple’ – has a new mayor, Zohran Mamdani. . . . The ghost of anti-Semitism at the
foundations | The first Jews
to set foot on the soil of New York in 1654 (then called ‘New Amsterdam’ or ‘Nieuw Amsterdam’) were 23 Sephardi Jews (four couples, two
widows, and thirteen children) fleeing persecution by the Portuguese
Inquisition, just after Portugal conquered Dutch Brazil. These
descendants of Jacob came face-to-face with Peter Stuyvesant, the Director General of New Netherland
(Nieuw-Nederland), under the control of the Dutch West India Company
(Geoctrooieerde Westindische Compagnie). Stuyvesant
seized the Jewish families’ belongings and attempted to evict them from his
city. . . . George
Washington’s declaration to Jacob’s seed |President George Washington declared a foundational premise
regarding safety and protection for Jews in America in a letter penned August 21, 1790….
DONNA: If radical Islam proceeds
along the same course that it has in reaching the domination point in Europe
and in the UK, then the Islamist New York Mayor, like the London Islamist Mayor,
will act as the green light to increase aggressive coming out moves to
Islamists all over America. This is the warning that few are sounding even
though the models in Western Nations are clear on how well advanced we are
already.

ZERO
EXPECTATIONS | Reuven writes, I
have zero expectations that the governing authorities, whether local, American,
or global, will be able guide the Middle East, or the entire world as far as
that’s concerned, into green pastures and still waters. They are trying, and
there are some good people here and out there (whom we deeply appreciate and
support) who are of a pure heart and genuine motives, but the system is
rigged to fail. There is just too much money, power, entitlement, and self
exaltation that, sooner or later, bring even the finest efforts to their bitter
end. . . .The ONLY meaningful element on earth that keeps us together and
holds back the colossal consequences of our evil ways are the PRAYERS OF THE
SAINTS and the PRESENCE OF THE ELECT. When that will be over… it will be over.
Until then, the shakings will continue, the prophecies will be fulfilled, the
harvest will be gathered into the barns, and the saints will grow into His
likeness. Cheer up, the Lord is near. . . .

Guy Cohen writes
about From the Wounds of War to Yeshua’s Healing on the new
website for the congregation he leads in Acco, Harvest of Asher | Spiritual
awakening and healing in the Name of Yeshua, between the pain of war and the
power of the Kehila (congregation). In times of war, fear, and global turmoil,
many hearts carry deep wounds of the soul. Some have witnessed unbearable
scenes, returning from battle with their bodies intact but their souls
bleeding. Others live with anxiety, recurring memories, or a profound emptiness
symptoms of post-traumatic stress (PTSD). | Amid all this, a spiritual call
is being heard, a call to awaken, to return to the source of life, hope,
and healing: Yeshua the Messiah. Read in full on the new web page
Christian Arab pastor Najeeb & Elizabeth Attieh of the Haifa Immanuel Church sends a wonderful acknowledgement of how they are the fruit of Ruth Nessim’s ministry in Nahariya. Dear Ruth has gone on to be with the LORD, but she did indeed throw all of her support behind the Attieh’s long ago, even bringing Najeeb into her own congregation after her dear husband died as she could get no Jewish believer to come take up his post. Ruth broke barriers because she had a heart to please God, and that is why so many of us know this Arab Christian ministry today. The HaMaayan congregation led by Tony

congregational updates online with lots of pictures of their doings. One
excerpt from the

of LIFE - “I will dwell among them” | Messianic and Arab communities in Israel
came together for a 3-day festival to worship God as one united body. The
Feast of Sukkot, or Tabernacles (Feast of the Ingathering) – plus the return of
the living hostages and the memorial of October 7, 2023 – all happened at the very same time! Every participant enjoyed
fellowship, teachings, a music concert, and different creative workshops like
making silk banners and tambourines. We also organized Healing Workshops to
overcome shock and trauma brought on by our war. On the last day, we invited non-believers / family members to join us
in experiencing God’s amazing love with us. While attendees were
worshipping and celebrating, a new generation of intercessors were praying 24/7
over the entire area. The presence of God was tangible, felt by all of us! Read the full newsletter here
From Leon Mazin of Return to Zion
Center in Haifa writes how eventful October was: his and Nina
Mazin's son, a violinist had an import showcase concert; their daughter got
married; and their other daughter gave birth. . . . Then a team from Texas came
in to help with covering their patio with a pergola. "This is rather a big
project which will become a part of “Shivat Tzion Exhibition” (Return to Zion
Exhibition). This expression “Shivat Tzion” is associated with the return from the Babylonian Exile in
the days of Zerubbabel, Ezra and Nehemiah. Our Congregation has a similar name,
but it also refers to the return from exile in our days. The idea of the Exhibition is the biblical story, prophecies and the
realities of the region of Zebulon where we practically live. As for the
purpose –
we want to make an exhibition accessible for domestic Israeli Tourism.
It will give us a possibility to tell the truth all over the territory of
Israel and there is great effectiveness in this. Israelites from other parts of
the country gladly travel to Haifa with guides, and we hope to see them at our
Exhibition.”

The goal of Plant Hope
Israel Ministries is to show that God is real, Jesus is the Messiah, and
that He is the way in everyone's life. We do this by sharing testimonies of
Jesus, miracles, and dreams; we teach about Biblical archaeology, science,
faith, and the supernatural; spiritual warfare; we expose New Age and Kabbalah;
and we teach and celebrate the Biblical Feasts together. We also build bridges
between Israel and the church, support Jews making Aliyah, and pray for more of
the gifts of the Holy Spirit and support the five-fold Ministry. Jennifer Guetta is the director of Plant Hope
Israel….She is a Biblical archaeologist and author who came to know Jesus in a
supernatural way. She was rescued from New Age, Kabbalah, and atheism. And she
now has the calling to share about Jesus in various ways. Go here to learn more including about her book, Awestruck by Glory
Aleksey Raikhstadt of the
old city Jaffa pot where Beit Immanuel
is located, was “invited to the One New Man Conference in South Korea,
where he shared about the prophetic message of Sukkot and the unity of Jew and
Gentile in Messiah. To witness these believers praying fervently for Israel and
worshiping Yeshua with one heart was deeply moving. The presence of the Holy
Spirit was tangible, healing hearts, restoring hope, and reminding us that God
is faithfully gathering His people from every nation.” His prayer requests are: Growth and strengthening of home groups
including more leaders for our home groups. Pray for our families who are in
financial and emotional distress – that God would meet every need, provide His
peace and comfort, strengthen their faith, and fill them with hope in His
perfect provision and timing. Pray for musicians for the worship team and fruit
from out evangelistic projects. If you
feel led to give and take part in what God is doing in Israel, you Learn more at the congregational website.
Josie
Silver wrote a wonderful article for Out
of Zion |The Ark of God’s
Covenant | It feels quieter now in Israel – for the moment. Yet deep within, we all sense it: we are not
done. We’ve entered a new season in this land - a season of rebuilding lives
and homes, of fresh joy and renewed hope. It’s a time of healing, where we
allow the Lord to work His greatness among His people and His nation. But while
we rebuild, prophecy continues to unfold before our eyes. Aliyah is moving forward. Jewish families - many young, many
from the United States - are returning home to Israel in increasing numbers. At
the same time, hostility toward the Jewish people continues to rise across the
world. Antisemitic words, attacks, and propaganda are no longer rare; they are
daily reminders that the handwriting is on the wall. The signs are real, and
they echo the urgency of God’s call for His people to come home.
For those still scattered in exile,
Israel remains a place of refuge - a divinely appointed ark of preservation. As
in Noah’s day, when the floods came without warning, the time will come again
when safety will be found only inside the ark God has prepared. His judgment
upon the earth will not touch those sealed within His covenant. . . .Israel is the ark of preservation for God’s
people—a nation sealed by His
covenant and sustained by His promise. For more of Josie's
article write directly to her email.
Revive Israel welcomed a new group for their 2025 Discipleship Winter Program. Joining last week to minister was Christian Arab Bassam Adranly and his wife Jesra. Revive reports it was “a powerful time of teaching and sharing from God’s Word. Together, we explored the righteousness we've received through Yeshua. We were reminded that because of His righteousness, we stand before God blameless, not only forgiven, but completely transformed.” The Revive team led by Youval and Valerie Yanay write, “It’s powerful to watch young believers just beginning their walk with Yeshua. They're thirsty for truth and eager to dive into the Scriptures. It reminds us how easy it is to forget the kindness of God that once led us to repentance. But God is always inviting us to return, to remember our first love, to draw near to Him again, even after many years of faith. To put on His righteousness, and come boldly before His throne of glory in full assurance of faith. We’re praying that each one of you will be filled with holy fear and clothed in righteousness.”
Chaim Malespin of the Faithful Galileans writes something most of us never think about – God has dreams and visions too! His Word is packed full of them and we rarely think about how God is the original Dreamer & Visionary! Watch Chaim's video here: God has a dream too — a dream for Israel, for the nations, and for every person who joins in His plan of restoration. Chaim Malespin shares with the team of volunteers at the Galilee House about Joseph and dreams! Sow into the Faithful Galileans here.

Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel congregation in Ashdod, and a network of daughter congregations, writes “As we come to the end of this year, I just want to say thank you from my heart. It’s been a challenging season for Israel — a time of war, need, and uncertainty — but also a time when we’ve seen God move in powerful ways. Through everything, our mission has stayed the same: to bring the Gospel to the people of Israel. We’ve been holding evangelism events, sharing the Good News in the streets, and inviting people to hear about Yeshua — many for the very first time. It’s been amazing to see so many hearts open, people praying, and lives beginning to change…. As we look ahead to 2026, our vision is to reach even further and make a bigger impact for Yeshua...WATCH NOW
Our dear friend and fellow pastor, Ariel Ben David, who leads our sister congregation Maayan in Eilat, is walking through one of the most difficult seasons of his life. Ariel has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and according to the doctors, the medical outlook is not encouraging — they’ve given him about one year to live, with only a small chance of recovery. These are hard words to write, and even harder to read. Ariel is a man known for his joy, gentleness, and steadfast devotion to Yeshua. A loving husband, a devoted father, and a faithful shepherd, he has spent years pouring out his heart for others — teaching, encouraging, visiting, and standing beside those in need...Read more here.
