Last night I posted one last thing on my mind, then during the night I awoke and God was taking me deeper into some other things to add to this, from my own experience of resisting sins that had become habitual in the days before my return to God as an adult. He showed me several different times I wrestled with the same temptation over many years. Each time had a shorter duration of wrestling with the temptation that had once been habitual in my life before returning to God at 31. I didn't realize it then, but the temptation was not a sin. Only not resisting it would be the sin. And I really didn't know that I was in spiritual warfare. I thought I was just considering something I knew God 100% disapproved of and really, in my heart, I wanted to be pleasing to God.

So last night I wrote that "They are all rushing to publish their books because you bought into a pack of lies that appears to make them like the holy, grownups in the room. How quickly that could change. By then you might have bought their books on how to erect fences to make sure no pastor or woman ever fall into sin … and how to deal with it if they do.

"I thought that’s what the Word of God and the Holy Spirit were given to us for. Write your books because this house of cards could come down any minute. All it takes is a heart that quits hiding from God to bring it down."

I am, of course speaking about those who have mixed worldly woke ideas of justice with God's Word in dealing with the accusations that came out against Mike Bickle and IHOP in 2023. As the Bible says, Proverbs 13:17 "The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him." What most of you don't understand is that cross examination never happened. Even with Mike Bickle taking his long-standing conviction that he was not to defend himself - a 100% biblical position that is also part of Western jurisprudence based on the Bible for hundreds of years, the accused has the right not to testify. That's because there are still MANY willing and able to testify to the facts of the case. That is also true of those who have ability to testify against what the accusers said in the Firefly investigation.

The accusers & the AG turned down 3 different investigators that IHOP contracted to do investigations. So someone please tell me, why is it that we all assumed the AG picking out Firefly HAD TO BE ACCEPTED by IHOP? They didn't accept Firefly and no one who could counter the accusers stories at IHOP trusted Firefly enough to go to them. What even Tikkun did not see through, Jim Hollar and Firefly were already coming from a Woke ideology investigative position. It is written right there in page 1 of their contract. There is no justice involved in those dynamics.

But what I really want to talk about is how the Bible already speaks to us about how we are to avoid sins. There will never be a woke legal fence around Christian leaders tall enough to keep men and women succumbing to sexual immorality. It has to come from us understanding from God's Word how WE individually take captive every fantasy that hits our thinking that is in rebellion to God's command for us as His children. "Casting down imaginations (fantasies), and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Messiah/Christ." 2 Cor 10:5

The reason that the books will not help written by individuals who make up the inner circle of those who have led the charge against Mike Bickle and IHOP, is because they are filled with the rules of the feminist weaponized sexual accusation playbook. The reason they will not work for believers is found in 2 Cor 10:4 "The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds."

Do you know that demons tempt all of us and mostly through the thoughts we allow to roam through out thinking unchecked. The first battleground, as Francis Frangipane so aptly put it, is in our own minds. We have to wage war there before any other place. What does that mean? It means we don't entertain "imaginations (fantasies)" that conflict with the knowledge of God's will. You know, like: 'What would it be like to have an intimate relationship with the pastor - to be his significant other.'

EVERY moral failure begins in the thoughts and most of us are woefully uneducated in how to defeat such fantasies tempting us to evil. Being tempted is not a sin, but not resisting though tempting thoughts will surely lead us into doing them!

Even Yeshua/Jesus was tempted. Luke 22:44 as the Lord was praying before laying down His life in the death on the Cross, it says that He was praying and sweating drops of blood - this was resisting the temptation of the flesh not to let Himself be crucified. Don't believe that? It's right there is verse 42 “Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

It is not easy to crucify our flesh either. We may not resist to the point of sweating blood, but resisting a barrage of immoral fantasy thoughts can be really difficult - especially when you don't know HOW to take every though captive to the obedience of the LORD!

You may know the scripture verse well, but you have never learned how to put it into operation in your own life to overcome your fantasy thought and evil imaginations - temptations hitting you from demonic thinking. Here it is: Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil. Keep it up until the devil flees. And when the thoughts come back, because they will test you again, do the exact same thing. This is taking every thought captive to the obedience of the knowledge of God's will for YOU! (No exemptions in case you have believed you are a "special" case that God allows to sin)

James 4:6-8 “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

If we were teaching the principles of taking thoughts captive, resisting temptations and how the demons press us into doing evil by planting thoughts in our thinking, I'll bet that would help a heck of a lot more than setting up a bunch of rules, fences and litigation after the fact of moral failures in the body of Christ.

But hey! what do I know? I'm just a person who had to learn all this the hard way of resisting and not knowing how to escape the torment of demonic thoughts coursing through my mind. But I resisted and God provided an escape for me from sinning. And now He has given me a clear message for you on how to escape from the sins that so easily beset us.

The books being written by the inner circle of the accusers of Mike Bickle and IHOP are based on #apackoflies You may be tired of all this, but if you don't dig deeper into the facts you will remain deceived by the lies.
