2025 Oct 31 | A Season of Captivity has Ended

 Arrows from Zion

Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

Arni Klein of Emmaus Way’s excellent perspective is a must read: “Something in the Spirit has shifted. On the surface, a season of captivity has ended. Captivity not for just those held physically hostage, but a captivity that gripped the entire nation for two long years. The matter of bringing them home seems to have occluded every other issue before us.  Are we now at a point where true healing and restoration can begin? Surely it is so for those that are no longer captive. But for the rest of us, the war is not over. Hamas signed an agreement but apparently has no intention of keeping it. Israeli soldiers are still dying in battle. . . . Though the hearts of Israel’s enemies have not changed, President Trump managed to bring together a majority of the Middle East nations plus others to a celebration of a nonexistent ceasefire in Gaza, to which representatives from Israel and Gaza were not invited. . . .

Jared Kushner, the architect of the deal, said on the news program 60 Minutes, “The biggest message that we've tried to convey to the Israeli leadership now is that, now that the war is over, if you want to integrate Israel with the broader Middle East, you have to find a way to help the Palestinian people thrive and do better.” In keeping with the ridiculous deceitful spirit of the global agenda, he totally ignores decades of offers and opportunities given to the so-called Palestinian leadership that have been repeatedly rejected in favor of using their resources to build kilometers of tunnels for the purpose of infiltrating and destroying Israel. Kushner’s statement would be stupid if he were not so smart. It stands as an insult to truth and all intelligence….
Scripture tells us it’s first to the Jew and that the law goes forth from Zion and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Of all the nations, Israel alone exists in both the natural and spiritual realms. As Israel connects Heaven and earth, what is done in one manifests in the other. Oh that we would fully understand and discern the dynamics of this entwinement! We believe that those grafted into the cultivated olive tree of Israel are part of the Israel of God (Gal.6:16), and as such have authority in the spirit concerning natural Israel.
We need to be aware that a superficial (or illusionary) peace in the Middle East is the necessary prelude (Ezek.38:11) to the war of Ezekiel 38. According to Scripture, it will happen at a time we do not expect. In that day the earth and every living thing shall quake at the Presence of the Lord. So, beloved of the Lord, this might be a very good time for us to awaken and gather the oil that will carry us through the days aheadEmail for a subscription or to request this 10/26/25 ministry letter.

Reuven Doron releases a MUST READ letter on “The Fulness of the Gentiles”. Think you’ve heard it all? You haven’t read this and it rings of the truth of the Spirit and the Word. You can watch Reuven speak about it here. For me, I need the written article to get the full impact of what Reuven is delivering here. . Victory is measured in a moment in time; control is measured over decades. Control that is established not merely on military superiority, but also on the economy, infrastructure, security, regional mindsets, and alliances between enemies and allies alike.

From the Haifa area Return to Zion ministries, Leon Mazin is leading a network of congregations minister to vast numbers of Jewish Russian-speaking Israelis. The congregations – Shavei Tzion, Or Hai, and Netzer HaGalil have “shared theological foundation, celebrate the holidays together, organize seminars and meetings, and maintain close relationships between our leaders” yet “each Congregation has its own unique character and lives an independent life — and we see this diversity as a strength. Since 2001 they have published a newspaper called Oasis that now has a 15,000 circulation distributed in Israel, Germany, the former Soviet Union and North America. Plus since 2013 they operate Oasis Media online for Russian speakers. See more about this here
Pastor Leon’s prayer request is: “In the wake of the recent war, we feel the need to recover emotionally and spiritually, and be filled with new strength. Please pray for our healing and full restoration, especially for our soldiers and their families. And for the Nov. launch a new ALEF course (foundational teachings for new believers). We would greatly appreciate your prayers for a blessed and successful start.

The House of Netanel, Rachel and Gilad Netanel do a special kind of ministry in Jerusalem and Ein Karim where they open their home to groups who come for hospitality of a shared meal and shared testimony of their faith in Yeshua. These groups come from all walks of life, including many religious, and from all we have ever heard, Rachel has the gift of an evangelist and a husband that creates fabulous hospitality with her for the groups to break physical and spiritual bread together. Her recent letter spoke of her son who has a company in Ein Kerem that he loves to invite people from the company to be blessed at his mother’s table. Rachel also spoke of “an Israeli woman who had visited me ten years ago” that she shared the scriptures to. Two months ago Rachel learned the woman had come to faith at a local congregation. Now she wants to be baptized. “. I told her that I would be happy to but only if she came and studied a bit with me so that I would be sure that she understood what baptism was all about. She has come to see me (even bringing a friend some days) and now we talk almost every day as I teach her more.” Watch Rachel's life story on GodTube Videos  Contact her at beitnetanel@gmail.com

Chaim Malespin of the Faithful Galileans, write a great lesson in answer to his own questions: “There is talk of Israel declaring sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. What does this mean? Should we care? What does God say? First of all, it’s the Heartland of the Promised Land. . . . a section carved …. called the West Bank. Biblically … Judea and Samaria.
…..2000 BC. On Elon Moreh (West Bank/Judea & Samaria), God promised to Abraham the Land of Israel in Genesis 12. . . .
Time passed…. In 1948, after Israel was declared an independent state, the surrounding nations attacked Israel….Jordan succeeded in taking control of Judea and Samaria…. Survivors were either killed, taken captive, or forced to leave for Israel. (including from the Old City of Jerusalem, Hebron, and Gush Etzion). They also destroyed or vandalized 58 synagogues.
Then against all odds, during the Six Day war in 1967, Israel regained control of Judea and Samaria. However, Israel never declared full sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The…government hoped to trade land for peace. (Piece for Peace) But this vision was crushed when the Arab League’s Khartoum Conference in August 1967, which issued the famous “Three No’s”: No peace with Israel, No recognition of Israel, No negotiations with Israel. Western countries such as the United States, Europeans and the UN counseled and pressured Israel against annexing the area as well. So as such, since 1967 this area has been heavily disputed. The Oslo Accords divided up the area between Israeli and Palestinian Authority jurisdictions in the 1990s. And these areas have been contentious ever since.
…. Despite the politics and tensions, this area is very Biblical and part of the ancient history of Israel....
So according to the Bible this land is part of the covenant that God made with Abraham and is very important to the history of our Jewish people. This is God’s land. It’s a very complex area and is need of much prayer.

Deborah’s Arising 2025, an annual conference for Christian Arab women, is put on by Rania Sayegh in the Nazareth based House of Prayer & Exploits. Rania sends  this year’s highlight video and it will truly warm your heart to see what God is doing among Christian Arab women. You will also see several Messianic Jewish women leaders participating, as they do each hear. Rania writes, “10 Years, 14 Conferences, Birthed from the Womb of Nazareth | For over a decade, we have gathered women from across Israel, ones who have been rising in courage, faith, and purpose. What began as a vision in Nazareth has grown into a powerful army of women, Arab Deborahs Arising. Over the past 10 years and 14 conferences, countless women have been equipped, inspired, and sent forth to step into their God-given destinies.” They are “Rejoicing in the Harvest, Anticipating the Next Season” Read the full Report here.

From David’s Tent, Avner Boskey: Pax Romana, Pax Americana, Pax Davidica | When Empires Set Foot on the Promised Land | “It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash” (Ezekiel 13:10) | Pontius Pilate asked Messiah Yeshua the rhetorical question, “What is truth?” (John 18:38). It’s time to consider another question: “What is peace?”  The definition of peace has changed over time.
In Roman days, ‘Pax Romana’ (‘Roman peace’; 27 BC to 180 AD) meant the total crushing of all enemies and their unconditional surrender to a centralized imperial government on the banks of the River Tiber. | In post-WWII days, the term ‘Pax Americana’ describes the dominance of the USA (the world’s prime superpower) and their global system of relative international stability.| The Hebrew Prophets speak of a Last Days ‘Pax Davidica’
– a worldwide Messianic monarchy, the rule of David’s Son over all nations from a Jewish Jerusalem. | It is important to understand these distinctions as we consider recent developments in Israel. Click to read in full.

Out of Zion Josie Siliver’s perspective in Israel’s Path Through Trial Toward Redemption is an excellent update of all the political machinations happening in Israel currently. To read more, email Josie here. | “The latest issue on the table for now is who will govern Gaza, the reason for the visit this week from Jared Kushner, Steve Witkoff and J.D Vance. … Recent news is that our Prime Minister has said that Turkish troops in Gaza is a red line. We agree!  And in the last day the visit from Marco Rubio is to discuss Israel’s plan to advance a bill titled “Application of Israeli Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, 2025” A lot is on the table at the moment.

President Trump recently declared in his speech to the Knesset that “there will be no more wars.” But such a statement stands in contrast to what God’s Word reveals through His prophets. This current war will not truly end until Gaza is purged of terror, Hamas disarmed and Gaza and restored to Israeli hands. Man’s declarations may sound hopeful, but the Word of the Lord endures forever. . . .Though current events may look chaotic, God is orchestrating His divine plan through kings, leaders, and governments. He uses even the conflicts of men to fulfill His prophetic word.

From Israel Pochtar of Beit Hallel in Ashdod, “This past week I found myself standing among the ancient ruins of Ashdod, a place that still carries echoes of the past. As I looked over the broken stones and weathered walls, I couldn’t help but think of all that this land has seen kingdoms rise and fall, prophets speak, battles fought, and miracles won. It’s humbling to stand in a place where generations before us trusted God through impossible situations. And it made me think: the God who showed up for them is still the same God who shows up for us today. And it made me think: the God who showed up for them is still the same God who shows up for us today. Watch When You Believe, Believe Again

Moti Cohen of Tiferet Yeshua congregation in tel Aviv writes, “There is a spiritual awakening in Israel. And it is happening in the context of the trauma of the October 7th massacre and ensuing war. The powerful prophetic word our brother Oren shared at Tiferet Yeshua right before October 7th told us that God was going to bring painful judgment upon Israel in order to "crack the shell of religion" keeping hearts from Him: "Their love for me is trapped in a shell of religion. The day is near when that shell will crack, and they will understand that there is no more need for it…"
. . . .     Praise God there is an abundance of amazing online outreach content widely available in Hebrew and the Hebrew New Testament online. What there is not an abundance of is Hebrew-speaking Israeli believers who are equipped and able to devote time to discipling Israeli seekers and new believers. That is where our team comes in. . . .
When you support Tiferet Yeshua, you become a part of the team that is answering the Lord's command to make disciples here in the Land where it all began.
