Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

From Dugit Ministries, Avi Mizrachi writes: “On the eighth day after Sukkot, thirty leaders and many others from across Israel gathered at the Baptist Village near Tel Aviv at a Welcome the King of Glory Prayer Movement event sponsored by Dugit Outreach Ministries to pray in unity for the salvation of our nation. See the video on Facebook  …a set-apart moment to humble ourselves, seek the Lord, and stand together for His mercy and protection over Israel. Like the story of Esther, we have a duty to stand in the gap on behalf of our nation. There is weight to this day. It was on the eighth day which was October 7, 2023, that Hamas attacked Israel. Where the enemy sought to sow terror, we will lift a louder cry for healing, justice, and peace in Israel. We believe the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth, and that our united prayer matters.”

Reuven Doron brings “The Eternam Gospel” writing
. “This is the ONLY message that can generate genuine saving faith in both Jewish and Gentile hearts, which is the reason the Apostle made it the foundation of his ministry. . . . The reason our experience often falls gravely below our confession is that we do not build our lives on the Person of Jesus, the Son of God, or on His eternal Work on the Cross where He made Himself SIN and received in Himself the curse of the Law and God’s righteous judgments. There is no other message for you who serve God among the nations or for us here in Israel. Thank you for your prayers for our outreach as we lift up Jesus and His redeeming work in the Hebrew language for the Hebrew nation.”  Watch Reuven’s “Patient Endurance” video in a serious word for us all.  To partner with us.

Pastor Israel Pochtar writes, “This week’s newsletter brings together stories and messages that remind us of God’s faithfulness, His call to unity, and His unending desire to dwell among His people. Whether in the desert of Sukkot, the prayers of Shemini Atzeret, or the open hearts we meet in the Galilee — His living water continues to flow.  Living Water: The Prophetic Message of Sukkot VIDEO | READ: The Last Mile – Bringing the Message of Hope to the Galilee. | Watch Why Did God Command Israel to Wave Branches Before Him at Sukkot? | From ancient days until today, Shemini Atzeret has been known as the day when Israel begins to pray for rain — not just a physical necessity, but a symbol of God’s favor and blessing. Chaim Malespin writes about the Feast of Tabernacles this year, “
I have never seen Jerusalem so full of people!” He revisited the places where God made covenant with Abraham in Genesis 12:6-7, and reaffirming it in Genesis 15:18 and also in Genesis 17:7–8 (NKJV) ”And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you... and I will give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession.

We also went to the Western Wall, where thousands of Israelis were praying and celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles alongside people from the nations. The place was so crowded, that it was impossible to find parking anywhere near the Old City!.... The Feast of Tabernacles is one of the three Feasts of the Lord that God commands all men to come up to Jerusalem. As well, the prophet Zechariah declared that during this Feast, the nations must come up and celebrate it with Israel. Seeing such an overflow of Israelis and people from many nations flooding into Jerusalem must surely warm the Father’s heart. I myself was filled with joy! I believe that in the years to come, as more and more people join in celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles, we truly won’t be able to park anywhere near the Old City, because the entire city will be one giant celebration!”

The Peniel Fellowship in Tiberias is a large congregation led by Daniel & Shirya Yahav, and their school for children on believers came about decades ago when Messianic children were being bullied in school. Then just in the last couple of school years they were denied license to continue the elementary school due to religious pressuring of the city. All based on their faith. But their kindergarten is “open and working” and they have not given up on their vision for a Messianic school – so please pray with them over that. They write, “), we were forced to change our operation from a full elementary school, to a support center for parents that decided to move to home schooling instead of sending their children to the public school. This activity provides the children with spiritual faith based activities, as well as social and pedagogical support where needed.”  They are doing something right because “One of the highlights of this summer was a baptism of eight people, of whom seven were youth from believing families, members of our youth group. …we are planning another baptism soon.” Pray for them that God will give them favor in their community that upends the religious persecution.

The Kerem-El (God’s Vineyard) congregation is a daughter congregation of the Carmel congregation, one that was started 17 years ago as a
a Hebrew speaking meeting/congregation in Central Carmel, where non-believing Israelis would be able to easily and comfortably attend. One of the pastors is leaving at the start of 2026, so in dealing with the congregational needs, Kerem-El will be “begun joining forces with some of the men and women's meetings, and also the prayer meetings that occur weekly.” In one recent meeting where they did this they were blessed by “by a special guest speaker, an Iranian brother named Ramin. Ramin shared his amazing testimony of how he came to faith in Iran under the Ayatollah regime. Consequently his persecution intensified, to the point where he had to flee Iran and found refuge in America. In the U.S. he met his Jewish-Israeli wife and is now in the process of becoming an Israeli citizen! God's ways are amazing ! Listen to his full testimony produced by our friends at One for Israel. This is so good! Please listen and share.

It was “
the day before his 78th birthday” when a wonderful brother, Moshe Morrison, an elder at Tents of Mercy, crossed into eternity to be with the Lord – united again in glory with his wife Katya. Moshe led a Messianic congregation in Baltimore for 15 years, before he, Katya and 5 of their childre made aliyah. Together with Eitan and Connie Shishkoff, Moshe and Katya helped found Tents of Mercy in Kiryat Yam. Moshe was a devoted elder in the congregation, mentoring young people towards bar and bat mitzvah, teaching from the Torah and giving sermons regularly at Shabbat services in the unique way that only he did - never failing to start with a joke. . . .If you click his name above it will take you to his book of stories that display some of the wit and wisdom of Moshe Morrison. May all those who loved Moshe be comforted. Tents of Mercy write, “We treasure not only the time he was with us, but also the positive mark he made on people’s lives and the special touches he invested in our congregational home, specifically the beautiful wooden ark where the Torah scroll is held and his famous “Tents of Muscles” gym where he left a legacy of fitness.” Moshe had battled Parkinson’s and advancing dementia for many years, but we can be assured he is counting all joy now to be in the Presence of the Most High and His King.

Nachalat Yeshua (Yeshua’s Inheritance) led by Howard Bass writes, “The day of infamy, Oct 7, 2023, was a Sabbath, and Simchat Torah. A complete two years on the Jewish calendar…-- a prelude to wars yet to come -- will halt. President Trump will come, on his way to Egypt for the signing of "the deal," and be cheered by the nation for his part in bringing about this unexpected end in this way. This particular alliance may or may not be the "confirmation/strengthening of a covenant/treaty/alliance" of which the Prophet Daniel writes. If it is, time will shortly tell; if it is not, the time will shortly come for the actual one. These are the times in which we live, with a realistic expectation to see the Lord's return. Israel still thinks that they can control and determine their own destiny, and the "partners" for the deal are mostly nations that did not support Israel through the war, and most of them still look to the day when the people and land and city that the Creator and Redeemer has chosen will
cease to exist according to the purpose for which God created, chose, and staked His holy Name and His Word of Truth on to fulfill His own heart's desire.

If it were not for the Lord telling us way in advance of what we might expect in the end-times, we would be as befuddled or deceived or wishfully hoping that this deal for lasting peace would actually succeed. The people and the nations of the world are all conspiring together against YHVH and His Anointed. The Devil has lied to make the world think for centuries that the Jews are conspiring to rule the world. The truth of the matter is quite the opposite: God has a plan that a Jew will rule the world; and His name is Yeshua/Jesus! Hallelu_YAH!

Rania Sayegh, Arab Christian prophetic intercessor in Nazareth writes, “
As we celebrate Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, we remember how God faithfully dwelt among His people and called them to build a dwelling place for His presence. This season, the Lord is inviting us once again to sow into His house, a house of worship rising from Nazareth to the nations. At HOPE, our vision remains the same: to raise an altar of worship in Nazareth that echoes across Israel, the Middle East, and the nations. Every prayer, every song, every offering of praise declares that Jesus is worthy, and you are part of this sound.  Sow & Grow  HOPE House of Prayer & Exploits

Participating at the Rise Up Women’s Conference 2025 conference in Switzerland, read about Rania’s first-day prophetic encounter in Switzerland, where God revealed His heart for the nation and the new season ahead.

Sally Shiff in Kfar Saba, at HaMaayan congregation, writes, “THEY ARE HOME! For 2 years, you have joined me in prayer for the hostages that were stolen for our nation 2 years ago. The ones that are still in Gaza are no longer living and some of them will never be found. But all morning long, the nation of Israel watched 20 hostages return home to their families and to Israel. My tears can finally flow and I can finally breathe.          . . . Israel is breathing again and unified in celebration.  Like October 7, 2023 Israel is united both in sorrow (then) and joy today.  And to the person today, Israel thanked God (over and over again).

10/16 I don't think my daily updates are over, now comes the transition...and showing you the real Israel that took the back seat to October 7, 2023. | How are the returned hostages doing? Here is a news brief from the hospital where 10 of them are. What is going on with Hamas? “settling scores” with a crackdown in Gaza.

Beautiful excerpt from Guy Cohen leading Katzir Asher, “I
n the Garden of Eden, the serpent persuaded Chavah (Eve) to choose moral independence, but the result was separation from Elohim. Since then, every sin is an act of rebellion, a refusal to submit to the will of the Creator. This spirit appears throughout the history of Israel....In each case, one spirit stands behind it, pride of heart and rejection of divine authority in the name of “justice” or “freedom.”
. . . .Even today, this same spirit seeks to undermine every form of authority Elohim has ordained, in the family, the congregation, and society. In the end, the spirit of rebellion says: “I will decide.” But the Ruach HaKodesh says: “Let the will of Elohim be done.” Each day we are given the choice to walk in pride or in humility. “Choose this day whom you will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve Adonai.” (Joshua 24:15)

A good report from Patty Juster, Restoration from Zion, on “
the first Healing Oasis. . . .So many ministries pooled their time and resources to help make this time a success. We experienced so much unity as we worked together for the purpose of ministering to these families who have been so traumatized by the war. All of us poured out our time and energy to make this Oasis to be truly a place of healing. What a blessing to be able to hold this event in a Kibbutz right across the street from the building that I saw in my dream!     . . . .On the first night we welcomed the eight families through a balloon arch, and the staff cheered them on as they came through. Many of the women had to wipe tears from their eyes. They were overwhelmed by the love and support. For the next five days I led a group of intercessors, 5 – 10 men and women, in two hours of prayer. Three of those days we had a young woman experienced in harp and bowl prayer and worship assist me. Each day we felt more of the power and presence of the Spirit. It was thrilling for me to be praying with so many who were engaged in ongoing intense prayer. All of us were stretched. We knew that we were breaking through! . . . .Was all this time and money worth the expenditure? A big yes!!. . . . Thank you for your prayers and support to see this vision become a reality. May this be the first of many such healing retreats and the expansion of the healing center.

From Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv led by Moti Cohen, “For the past two years, we have been on the frontlines of a brutal physical battle with radical Islamic jihadists across the region who are committed to Israel's destruction. At the same time, an additional front in this battle has exploded in the nations: anti-Semitic movements on the left and the extreme right are seeding people's hearts with hatred of Israel and the Jews in ways the world hasn’t seen since the 1930’s. . . . The Word of God prophecies that the dramatic events of the end of the age will unfold in the land of Israel with her regathered people living peacefully in their ancient homeland (Eze. 38). What leads to those events and the triumphant return of Yeshua to Jerusalem will be a flood of global satanic hatred of the Jews, Israel and the followers of Yeshua in the nations (Rev. 12)
     “. . . .
At Tiferet Yeshua, we are holding the line in this spiritual battle, taking up the armor of God daily and making a stand for truth by: faithfully declaring the gospel | making disciples | building the local Body of Messiah | helping the needy and serving the poor | speaking God’s TRUTH loud and clear at a time when darkness, lies and distortions are becoming frighteningly widespread. We invite you to join us in holding the line for truth, righteousness, and the light of God’s love in Israel and the nations at this critical time! Together let us prepare the way for the return of the King of Glory by advancing God's Kingdom in Israel.”
