Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

Reuven Doron begins this week with an important message to us all and that is to “cultivate hearts capable of the ‘hearing of the words of the Lord” which he explains further in “Hebraic thought HEARING means not merely to listen, but to OBEY.” Reuven notes that Yeshua said, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” If we are listening only, we are not following.
     I greatly value all of Reuven’s ministry letters, partly because he was the first Messianic minister that wrote on subjects related to Israel back in 1990-91 that tracked with the things I was concluding from my own private Bible studies. Of course, an Israeli Messianic living in the US, even so I had a lot new understanding to pick up from him. I find that Reuven is writing as strong and anointed as he ever did. If you would like to read his full letter it is published on his Facebook page OneNewManCall, but I would also highly recommend contacting him directly to subscribe to his insightful teaching via email.  In this past week he goes on to discuss many current issues surrounding the miraculous deflection of Iran’s attack, and other subjects in “What Was It All About?” and, “Now What?” 

Avner Boskey, at David’s Tent, is also an exceptional researcher & writer with prophetic insight on the subjects of Israel. Here is a 3-Part (maybe 4 part) Avner is calling Shootout at the Orient Bazaar Part One deals with Iranian background, strategic planning militarily and diplomatically, and unsettling historical parallels going back to 2020. Part Two will delve into battle details. IAF drones attacked a radar base in Isfahan, Iran (75 miles/120 km south of Nantaz, Iran’s main nuclear site; and 274 miles/442 km. south of Tehran).  Part Three will present what American and Israeli strategic perspectives on the situation, and what their realpolitik goals are for the future.

Yet another exceptional prophetic voice in Israel, who I know daily pours over the Word of God intensely and it shows in how God reveals so much to him, Asher Intrater leads the Tikkun Global network of congregations in Israel, with affiliated congregations in the USA and like-minded churches in the nations. Asher’s Instagram reel is Passover: Past, Present, Future. From the Tikkun weekly teaching Ariel Blumenthal teaches on Yeshua is the Lamb of God! Youval Yanay for well over a year has fully assumed the responsibilities as Director of Revive Israel, a separate entity, but still affiliated with Tikkun Global. The focus for Revive Israel now is in developing the local community as they operate a farm where they not only sell product at their weekly market, but also use the farm labors as a place for discipling many who come to volunteer and learn from the devoted Revive team. They minister by example and teaching to both the believers in Israel and those who have not yet come to the knowledge of Yeshua.  This week Tal Haroni and Valerie Yanay have co-labored in writing Nothing but the Blood about how their community dealt with the Iranian attack on Israel that everyone knew was coming.

Gil & Tamar Afrait lead the Tel Aviv Tiferet Yeshua congregation, a Hebrew speaking congregation (in order to attract more Hebrew-only speaking people to the congregation. We need to understand that there is a certain lack of credibility among many Israelis to spiritual teaching that is not spoken to them in Hebrew. This is one of the congregations that does not provide translations, so those that go there are understood to be authentic, Hebrew speaking Israelis too.) Tamar writes the introduction this time speaking of how this Passover is for many, one that is marked by loss: “In a way, it seems God is using this moment to usher us into a deeper understanding of the Passover.”
     She writes also, “In the past several weeks, two women here at Tiferet Yeshua, who are also anointed worshippers and teachers, shared amazing articles with me that they had written. They remind me of some special women who faithfully followed Yeshua two thousand years ago. Right before Passover, Mary of Bethany poured out a flask of very expensive perfume on Yeshua’s head (probably her own dowry) to anoint Him before His burial (Matt.26:12) – an extravagant act of worship. A group of mothers and sisters who stayed close by when Yeshua endured the cross were also the first ones at His grave on that fateful Passover morning two-thousand years ago. The first ones to see His beautiful face again.”

David Silver of Out of Zion ministries writes also of Celebrating Passover in the Shadow of a Massacre and War. Citing Leviticus 23:4-7 David writes, “At the beginning of the 1st month of the year, Nisan, YHVH gave Moses specific instructions to prepare the people for deliverance from their suffering. They were to take a spotless lamb on the 10th day of Nisan, inspect it for perfection for 4 days, and just before sunset on the 14th of Nisan they were to kill the lamb, roast and eat the flesh, and place the blood on the door posts of their dwellings. Later that evening YHVH came down and killed the first born sons and first born animals in all of Egypt, including the son of the Pharaoh, which caused him to finally set the Israelites free to leave Egypt and begin their journey to the Promised Land, which the next generation finally entered 40 years later, and we have been celebrating Passover ever since.”
     He continues, “It is very important that we do not let the current circumstances that Israel is faced with prevent us from celebrating the event that set the Israelites free from slavery in Egypt, and that GOD instructed us to remember each year. Please pray that many Jewish people will have a revelation that the 3 sheets of unleavened bread in the center of the table, called the "Unity", represents the Father, Yeshua and the Holy Spirit, and that the middle piece which is broken and half of it wrapped in a cloth and hidden, represents the Messiah. It is called the Afikomen, a Greek word which means "I have come" (past tense).

Michael Beener and wife Dina lead the City of Life congregation in the years long shell-shocked city of Sderot, so close to Gaza that Hamas named the city, City of the Dead. Michael & Dina were so moved with compassion for the poor, the elderly, the new immigrants, those will no ability to live elsewhere in Israel, that is where they decided to do their congregation and humanitarian outreach. In some places humanitarian outreach is considered doing good works instead of the Gospel, but with poverty levels so high in so many places of Israel, unless you care enough to help people, you really cannot get through with any message of salvation. Don’t think otherwise!  Even as the pastor and his team were planning for the Passover outreach, they were especially moved by the predicament of the Sderot population as Families Return to Ruined Houses. Benjamin Juster writes about growing up in Messianic movement of the 1970’s & 80’s when “Many of our Messianic Jewish congregations were planted out of this powerful movement of revival.” He writes about in 1974 when “Reverend Billy Graham and about 2300 other pastors gathered in Lausanne, Switzerland. The purpose of the gathering was corporate repentance and prayer because the church had stagnated in its mission of world evangelization.” …. We are now 50 years from that momentous gathering. My growing sense is that there is something very significant about this milestone, and that we are approaching a new season of God’s empowerment for the body of believers for another wave of evangelization. This coming September, they will host L4 in Incheon, South Korea. It is the Fourth International Congress drawing together missions organizations, church and business leaders, and other influential ministries. to advance the Movement’s fourfold vision — “the gospel for every person, disciple-making churches for every people and place, Christ-like leaders for every church and sector, and kingdom impact in every sphere of society. God has put on my heart to participate in this gathering along with several thousand leaders from the nations to pray and to learn and to seek God. I will be joining a limited number of Messianic Jewish leaders to represent the wider Jewish community and to present the ongoing mandate for sharing the besorah (good news) with the Jewish people. My sense is that this is a prophetic moment, and that I will receive an impartation that will also extend to our network of Tikkun America congregations and ministries. Plant Hope Israel’s Jennifer Guetta has a “prophetic word for Israel, teachings about Passover and calling for prayer.” She writes, “Listen to & Watch my Passover message this year” and shares a word she received from the Lord, "It is finished. I paid the price for peace. For I have defeated the darkness and trampled on the enemy. Death itself was overcome. It was the greatest victory ever. BUT THERE WAS A PRICE FOR PEACE. I laid down my life for you. My peace is everlasting because the ultimate enemy was defeated. I will bring more peace, as many come to know me. My child, LET MY PEOPLE KNOW... I AM THE PRINCE OF PEACE, because I defeated the enemy. My Glory and Kingship is forever. Come into my peace, let my people walk in it. They are continually attacked by the enemy that comes back in every generation. But there is a way to bring peace. Messiah conquered the enemy by defeating death and the stronghold of darkness. There is no peace if the enemy comes back every time. True Spiritual peace has to be made first in each person. I am bringing that peace to their souls. I am the resurrection and the life. He that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:26)
     As the Lord said to me in a dream in 2015: “Come my children come, Follow me through the Red Sea, Come and I will lead you, through the greatest exodus ever, and I will set you free.” (See my book Awestruck by Glory pg. 206)
     ON 4/25 Jennifer posted this to her Facebook page: Dream on Passover: War | On the evening of Passover I went to bed very late. When I finally closed my eyes around 1am I had a vision. I saw huge wooden wheel. It was the size of a ferris wheel with double sides and made of ancient old wood.  It rose out of the earth and started turning. Then I heard the Lord say: “It is the beginning of war.” And I also heard the Lord say: “When the winds change” and he showed me that the heatwave - hot wind - (hamsin), the eastern wind coming into Israel this week on Passover is NOT coincidence. That it relates to the spiritual wind of change coming in and war will start after.
     Then the next morning I had another dream and saw a big plane on fire coming towards us. We were scared it would hit us, but then it landed behind us, over a hill. Strange thing was we didn’t see anything about it on the news. Then last night (17th of Nisan) I heard the Lord say in a dream: “AFTER THE PERILS OF WAR… Psalm 103” In the morning I looked it up and Psalm 103 is all about healing. The Lord will heal the Land after the perils of war. |  I have not added anything to this dream. The interpretation and meaning I will leave open for testing, and for the Lord to confirm. The Tree of Life Ministries, Ariel & Shayla Hyde write: Urgent: Biggest Censorship Issue We’ve Faced in the Battle to Spread God’s Word | Often we’ve had battles with Big Tech trying to censor our evangelistic and pro-life videos and ads. And we’re so grateful for your prayers over and over, and for God’s breakthroughs over and over! But this time, it's reached a whole new level. Meta (Facebook and Instagram) has completely shut down our entire ad account, meaning we can't run any evangelistic, pro-life, or ministry testimony ads in any languages on their platforms! They called this a final decision, but we’re seeking a way to appeal it. We really need a miracle. PRAY For the evangelistic and pro-life ads – that the Lord of the Breakthrough would pull down every stronghold of the enemy hindering His Word from going forth, and that there would be great fruit of salvation and new life!

Donna: We are woefully ill-equipped to deal with the various types of technical shenanigans that can be used against us to limit our communications, techie ways that go under the radar for most of us. I have been dealing with this for years, without being taken seriously for the interference and censorship but it is affecting others now and we still have not come up with any solutions to deal with it. At least 4 other Israeli Messianic ministries have recently mentioned issues getting out their ministry emails, or receiving all their emails, or other censorship issues. Please make this a serious prayer point. Ask yourself what could you do if you could not get your ministry letters delivered to your mailing list, or if you were banned from placing your materials on many platforms.

Personal evangelism is a major way Israeli believers reach the people in their circles of influence. Some of those who practice this as a way of life are real examples to us all. Ronit Bender is one of those people and she takes every opportunity to show the love of Yeshua to everyone who crosses her path – whether, Jew, Arab, international. Her key is listening to the LORD’s instructions as she meets people. Many times it is in showing them some kindness in giving – whatever God tells her, Ronit has learned to give it willingly. I can only imagine how many people will be in Heaven because of how Ronit sincerely befriended and loved them into the kingdom of Yeshua. She gives many testimonies each month of the people she walks with as she is leading them closer and closer to Yeshua. Her ways are simple and it just boils down to listening and obeying what she hears and doing it all with sincerity and authentic love.

It is situated near a predominately Jewish neighborhood. I will never forget that as I came near, a boding feeling came over me and I said to my friend "this place (meaning not just the neighborhood, but the entire United States) will be worse off for the Jews than Israel." For the past 4 years as I have traveled from congregation to congregation, my message from the Lord became darker and darker, warning of an impending doom (Amos, Joel, Habakkuk). It was so against my personal nature to warn like this, but had to speak what God was saying. Now look at the world we live in!  This video is about what is happening here in the United States! Today! On our college campuses! It is no longer just us Israelis that are on the front line, it is YOU.  I wish I could tell you that all is well, and the war that we are fighting will never effect you, to just pray for us, but visiting in rural Illinois where it is quiet and peaceful, I wake up to the news that is happening at Columbia university and other "higher learning" institutions. Learn from us in Israel and realize that unless we seek God in intercessory prayer, the days will become darker and darker.

Ron Cantor of ShelanuTV writes earlier this month about Tucker Carlson’s Shocking Interview with Palestinian Propaganda Pastor Munther Isaac, a Palestinian Lutheran Pastor known for his critical stance on Israel. The interview, he writes, “has garnered over 10 million views, 57,000 likes, and 20,000 reposts.” Isaac never has a critical word for the terrorists in Gaza or under the Palestinian Authority control. Both have so threatened and abused Christian Arabs they have practically emptied out all Christian Arabs from the territories they controlled. Cantor notes fears in the US that Tucker Carlson is “fueling Antisemitism” even furthering his isolationist position against the US helping Ukraine by suggesting that Ukraine is leading a war against Christians and that “Jewish President Zelensky persecuting Ukrainian Christians.”  As Ron rightly says, that is an “absurd narrative” refuted by Ukrainian Christians and that either “Tucker Carlson is either misinformed or intentionally misleading.”  
     From my (Donna) view Tucker Carlson is a deeply deceived individual spiritually. I refused to watch him any longer in 2020 because he was disturbingly off to me.

Pray for this dear lady to receive a double healing miracle from the LORD.| Norma Sarvis has broken her jaw in a fall – only weeks from the Women’s Conference she leads with Chaya Mizrachi. Please pray for God to heal her jaw quickly and remove pain. Rachel Netanel asking prayers for her health after recoving from a severe case of covid complicated by asthma. "Do Not Be Afraid To Be Different"

It is part of my "prophetic history"

This morning I was writing to a friend who is in ministry in Israel currently in the United States. We were to meet but the chaos of these past few weeks in my household with caring for Tony as he is doing tests that may lead to his 4th spine surgery kept that from happening. Then over the past 24-hours exchanging some mutual experience with a friend of a friend on Facebook, it occurred to me that there are many even among the Israeli Ministries who don't really know much about me. I thought parts of the conversation I was having with both of these folks would be good to assemble together to let anyone who cares to know what my story is. 

Even though I believe I share in the spiritual warfare of the body in Israel, it is in the ways the attacks happen here in the US, not in Israel. So far. I believe that is about to change. I have always looked at Christians who seemed not to have the kind of spiritual wrestling that I have most of the time. Part of that is God working Egypt out of me, but I also do see it as part of the territory for standing with Israeli ministries as I do. I have pretty much identified with being over-looked and under-estimated in my 40-year walk and it's a combination of my wilderness experience and my choice to align with God's plans for the salvation of Israel.

On Facebook I was having a conversation with one of Dan Juster's friends in Virginia about the campus antisemitism origins. What I shared also explains some of my history.

When I was in Israel in 2005, part of Eitan Shishkoff's Baruch Haba tour, I attended a morning prayer session at Asher Intrater's house just outside of Jerusalem. In that meeting I received two important prophecies. One was from Asher who spoke that my words would be like "arrows from Zion" and when I returned to Dallas, I expanded my Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries to a 2nd elist called Arrows from Zion, a shorter version of the Weekly Summary. As time has gone on I have put Arrows mostly in my own words, adding things I know about the Israeli ministries that give my subscribers a more in-depth understanding of who they are, what their ministries are about and other things that should impact with greater understanding of what they are all about.

Martha & David Stern, Jerusalem 2005

The second prophecy I got in that meeting at Asher's was from Martha, the wife of David Stern. It was the first time I had met her, but I David Stern was the first Messianic Jew I had ever met. It was back in the late 1980's (maybe early 1990's) when I saw he would be speaking at Christ for the Nations. I had to meet him and made arrangements to do so. Where David was a quiet introverted person, his wife Martha is the opposite. She is outgoing and vivacious. They were a great match. Anyway, Martha also prophesied over me in that 2005 meeting at Asher's. It was a prophecy that I have also cherished because she spoke to me in the name of the Lord, "Do not be afraid to be different." It was right on and honestly, it still is right on because I have had a hard time finding out where I fit. Asher once told me not to worry about that because I fit with them. I took that to heart. I fit with the Israeli ministries even though I am far away from them.

One of the things that makes me different from many of my fellow Christian Israel-supporters is that pretty much from the beginning of seeking out the Lord drawing me to first Israel, then the Israeli believer ministries, I was drawn to know more about the forces of Islamic terrorism that was such an important impact on Israel. That seeking began to grow in me from 1993 on.  

I worked for Zola Levitt the year before 9/11 and Zola and I were both hot on the local Hamas chapter who were intimidating a local reporter at the Dallas Morning News because he alerted on them and went all the way to Israel to get the linkage to Hamas that they had. Very threatening stuff which the newspaper bowed to with all kinds of sensitivity training b.s. So Zola and I had several meetings with the Editorial Board & other higher ups at the paper, but we could never convince them what the real issue was. Then the ministry decided I would be better off just opening donations and not being involved with Zola on any actual real projects that were in my wheelhouse. So I gave my resignation and immediately started my Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests from Israeli Ministries. That was mid-August 2001. Weeks later 9/11. and the Bush administration finally moved in on the Hamas group that Zola and I had been trying to enlighten DMN about.

In 2007 and 2008 I attended both 8-week trials held for the Holy Land Foundation Five and the evidence informed me well about where this campus antisemitism has been cultivated from by Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in North America.

Earlier someone posted a definition of "cult" writing that "Cult, which shares an origin with culture and cultivate, comes from the Latin cultus, a noun with meanings ranging from "tilling, cultivation" to "training or education" to "adoration."

My response: The cultivate and culture really speaks to me. No matter what anyone else has concluded campus antisemitism stems from, they are wrong. It has been carefully cultivated in American culture.

 In 2007 and 2008 I attended the Holy Land Foundation trials in Dallas.  That is where I first learned about how the Hamas & Muslim Brotherhood in North America planned in the Fall of 1993 how to cultivate first CAMPUS ANTISEMITISM in the US and how they would also cultivate it in political and media circles at the same time. This strategy meeting charted the course for everything we are seeing today.

HLF were fronting as a charity but raising funds for Hamas to be able to buy the allegiance of citizens on the street - supplying them with things, and schools where they indoctrinated even the kindergarten children with hatred of Jews and Israel. This freed up more of their money for paying for terrorism and stockpiling weapons.

Part of the evidence presented were FBI recordings of the North American Hamas & Muslim Brotherhood strategy meetings in Fall of 1993 on how to flip the United States (and North America) from support of Israel to support of Palestinians - even the Hamas terrorists. They discussed how they would connect on campuses with others who had a beef against the US, like Black groups whose chant, 'No justice no peace' was specifically mentioned in the transcripts.

They played the long game, and now here we are, in the fulfillment of their strategies. They are a cult and they have cultivated culture to cheer murderers and rapists and terrorists. Copies of the FBI transcripts entered into evidence in those trials are online...and also buried in the HLF trial evidence on the Dallas Federal Court website.

....within a week after 9/11 there was a Muslim student's night on the campus of UT at Arlington that I went to. The building was filled with hostile Islamists and two of the speakers were from a town across from the Pentagon who regaled the crowd with going to the roof of their building to see the Pentagon burning and how they celebrated. It was so bold. They kept talking about FBI people there to spy on them but it didn't tamp down their bold hatred of us spilling out anyway.

There are so many useful idiots in the D.C. political power. Even when George W Bush pushed forward the HLF pursuit after 9/11 he was persuaded by his advisor Karen Hughes to tamp down any blame for 9/11 to Islamists in the US. They of course did not have anything to do with that specific attack, but at that juncture we sure could have had a serious conversation about the radical Islamists in this country who were working every day against us and have now grown into this major domestic threat we are seeing coming out of the closet right now.

Dan Juster just chimed in on that last point: "Note they refused to name the real danger, Islamic fascism or Islamism. So we had a war on terrorism, a nebulous idea and would not name the enemy. Like refusing to name German Nazis as the center of the war. When you can not name the enemy accurately you are weak in the fight against it because it is an ideology."

We are in for rough days ahead as North American Islamists take this opportunity to create trouble in the US as the have in England and most of Europe. We are at the door of increased violence on the streets, not just the campuses, and many American Jews will see it is time to get to Israel.

My last thought on this, where spiritual warfare meets the road in physical warfare, most American Christians have not given it much thought at all. They live in a spiritual bubble and their spiritual warfare is more personal, less "Somebody wants to kill me!'

I believe that is about to change in America, I don't relish the thought of it, but I learned back in attending the HLF trials that those people were threatening towards me and anything could happen...but God.

One day in the 2007 trial I was going down the elevator of the Federal Building with the prosecutors and FBI. One of the FBI women asked me if I wasn't afraid of what they might do to me because she said when she went out running every morning, her head was on a swivel watching for potential attack because of her association with their prosecution. At that time I was putting out weekly prayer paints on the trial and regularly commenting about the trial in the Dallas Morning News comments box. The Islamists knew it and sought many times to intimidate me at the court house, even one of the defendants - the half-brother of Hamas' Senior leader Ismail Haniyah, as a matter of fact. They took my picture with their cell phones, I overheard them talking about me in the hallways. Many such things. I had fear (because I'm not stupid!) but I kept going. 

I think God drawing me from 1993 on when I saw the first newspaper clipping that the FBI acknowledged knowing Hamas as fundraising in the US, just may be part of what Martha Stern prophesied over me a couple of years before the first HLF trial. In the beginning I thought it was only     because I majored on the Israeli Messianic ministries, not like anyone else that I ever saw supporting Israel.

Both of those things inform my spiritual life, my warfare, and my determination before God. It doesn't make for the most chipper, encourager believer you ever will encounter, but it doesn't mean I am spiritually lacking either. I am a spiritual realist.     

Who is Your Scapegoat?

Who is your scapegoat? A Passover Message for 2024 by Donna Diorio, April 22, 2024 We like having scapegoats we can blame so we don't have to own the way we are as human beings. It is easier to scapegoat someone else for how we turned out, or for hiding our own part in sins, or for getting our way or not getting what we really deserve.
     Scapegoating is often blame-shifting. Like in the Bible, we lay our hands on the head of our scapegoat declaring all our sins to fall on their heads.
    Jesus was a willing scapegoat. You may know Him only as the Lamb of God, but He was also the scapegoat of Leviticus 16.
     It is here where we see that as High Priest, Aaron was told he could not enter the "Most Holy Place behind the veil in front of the mercy seat on the ark, or else he will die, because I appear in the cloud above the mercy seat."
     The High Priest of Israel could only enter the Most Holy Place by offering a sin offering for himself and a burnt offering (atonement for him & his family), by wearing only the "holy" garments of "the sacred linen tunic, with linen undergarments. He must tie a linen sash around him and put on the linen turban." And He must wash himself before donning those garments.
     Afterwards Aaron the High Priest was to "take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting." (Lev 16:7) 8 After Aaron casts lots for the two goats, one for the LORD and the other for the scapegoat, 9 he shall present the goat chosen by lot for the LORD and sacrifice it as a sin offering. 10 But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to make atonement by sending it into the wilderness as the scapegoat."
     Yeshua/Jesus was the first scapegoat sacrificed as a sin offering for all mankind. That was salvation to the Jew first and thousands did come to faith in Yeshua. It was Jews who took the Gospel  into the nations too. Jesus was the Lamb of God in the Passover supper, and He was the Scapegoat sin offering pictured in Leviticus 16. This is important because there is a second scapegoat in Leviticus 16 which is a picture of God setting aside Israel during the period of salvation that would predominantly be among the Gentiles in the nations. In God’s plan to work salvation for the world, first Israel got about 2,000 years, then the Gentiles in the nations have had about 2,000. Now is time when God’s plan(Eph 2:15-16) to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace and reconciling both of them to God in one body through the cross” – meaning uniting both Jewish and gentile believers  as one body of the LORD, Yeshua/Jesus. 
     When that is understood, there can no longer be a hiding place for anti-Semitic Christians.    
      Leviticus 16:20 When Aaron has finished purifying the Most Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he is to bring forward the live goat. 21 Then he is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the iniquities and rebellious acts of the Israelites in regard to all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a man appointed for the task. 22 The goat will carry on itself all their iniquities into a solitary place, and the man will release it into the wilderness.
This signifies the nation of Israel being sent by God into exile for almost 2,000 years. Israel went into the wilderness looking completely abandoned by God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Israel went out into the nations bearing on themselves all their iniquities, never to be truly assimilated & accepted in the nations because they were scapegoats.
     The "wilderness" or desert is a dry place where we are tested by our spiritual enemy, the demonic. Even Yeshua/Jesus Himself was tested in the wilderness by Satan directly - no underling demons - and Yeshua passed all the testing.  Matthew 4:1-11 "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. . . .11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him."
     Israel also was a scapegoat in the wilderness for two millennia but like all of us, have failed many times over in passing the tests in the wilderness. Without God's spirit, Yeshua's spirit - the Holy Spirit - indwelling us, we can never pass all the tests that come to us in the wilderness of this earthly life. Even with the Holy Spirit, we don't always pass every test, because we yield to self instead. Even as believers we have ongoing need of God's forgiveness to keep ourselves filled with the Spirit of God. The greatest sin that blocks God's forgiveness to all of the children of God, is to be unforgiving to others after He has forgiven us so much. The parable of Matthew 18 addresses this, how bitter unforgiving blocks God forgiveness as we continue to need it in our walk with Yeshua.
     That is where the Jewish people are right now: locked in the bitterness and unforgiveness of all that has happened to her people in the wilderness of the nations, and now in her own God-restored Promised Land. Just as Christians become bitter and unforgiving, thereby attracting demonic tormentors, so also can Messianic Jewish believers. We all have to protect our hearts from bitterness and unforgivness because none of it is okay with our God. We kid ourselves to think so.
     In Zechariah 1 God has something to say about how Israel has been treated by the nations as a scapegoat: 14 Then the angel who was speaking with me said, “Proclaim this word: This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion, 15 BUT I AM FIERCELY ANGRY WITH THE NATIONS THAT ARE AT EASE. FOR I WAS BUT A LITTLE ANGRY (with Israel), BUT THEY (the nations) HAVE ADDED TO THE CALAMITY (afflicting of Israel).’ 16 Therefore this is what the LORD says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy, and there My house will be rebuilt, declares the LORD of Hosts, and a measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem.’
     Here is what just about everyone in every nation who has afflicted or is afflicting the Jews or the God-orchestrated modern State of Israel should take from that passage: God did NOT appoint YOU to afflict them, nor to make them YOUR scapegoat! God is more than able of exacting just punishment. HE DOESN'T NEED YOU TO PUNISH ANYONE. If you do take this upon yourself because you decided God has cursed them, it makes Him angry, and He will deal with you.
     God is restoring Israel not only physically as a nation, but spiritually because what Yeshua is to us, Savior and Redeemer, He also is to Israel, "Israel's Hope" HaTikvah Israel!
     In Matthew 16, Yeshua was speaking to His Jewish disciples saying in verse 12 "I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it." This is one of those things that even His disciples could not bear to hear at that point in all that was to happen. God rarely shows us what we will ultimately go through before we are a few steps away from it on the narrow path He is leading us.

     If you have made the Jewish people your scapegoat, the time for repentance is now before God Himself addresses your sins. And for "all Israel" - for all Jews in every place, the Hope of Israel is just waiting for you to turn to Him so He may grant you His shalom, His peace that can erase all bitterness, all unforgiveness and release you to a new life indwelt by the Spirit of the HOLY One of God. Spiritually restored and blessed for the Kingdom of God.

Not only that great miracle, but another: There were no deaths and only one person injured from all those Iranian drones and missiles!

   On Monday, two days after Iran's attack on Israel, the White House put out a statement saying, "Iran did not provide any advance warning of the attack, and Iran did not intend for the attack to fail."

   Israeli official says American forces stopped over 100 aircraft outside the country; Jordanian jets shot down dozens of drones in kingdom’s airspace with the UK contributing with interception of dozens of drones, and France patrolling airspace & contributing in technology and radar. Noting that "While the US, Britain and France are military allies of Israel, the move was a dramatic show of support from Amman."

     Many in Israel see this as a promising sign that an alliance of Arab nations with Israel could form as a result of seeing Iran was prepared to launch such a massive attack on Israel. Sunni Arab nations may seek an alliance with Israel in order to counter the threat from Shia Islamic Iran and their proxie alliances in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, Qatar, and also has good relations with Oman.

     Spiritually, some Israeli Messianic leaders believe there could be not only strategic military and political alliances forged among nations like Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other aligned nations. They see this as a potential fulfillment of the Isaiah 19 Highway:  23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt, and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will join a three-party alliance with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing upon the earth.

     On a Global Gathering with Tikkun Global and Watchmen for the Nations on Monday, Israeli Tikkun leaders were voicing their prayers for the people of Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt to come to the knowledge of God. They were not praying for destruction or revenge against the people of those nations, but that salvation would come to those nations, even as their own nation answered the all out assault of the leaders of Iran.

     From Elam Ministry to Iran, this report from a Christian "in western Iran, who lives near where the Iranian rockets were launched, said, “I heard each rocket being fired. It was so loud and frightening. The sky turned red for what seemed like hours. I prayed that God would have mercy on all of us. That no one would perish and that the war would not escalate.”

     Elam writes that numerous other Christians inside Iran are similarly interceding for the region. "One Christian leader said, 'The common feeling is that the Iranian regime is trying to make itself look strong, but is putting the whole population at risk. Naturally, this crisis is what everyone in Iran is talking about - at home, at work, in taxis. We must pray for all the Christians because it is actually an incredible opportunity to share the Gospel with people as they open up about their fears.”

     David Yeghnazar, the Executive Director of Elam, concluded by writing, "Whatever the future may hold, we trust that Jesus will continue to "build His church" (Matthew 16:18). And so our mission remains the same: to strengthen and expand the church in the Iran region and beyond."

     Only Yeshua is capable of providing such protection over Israel as was seen here, and also to cause the disciples of Yeshua, in each of the nations impacted by the Iranian attack on Israel, to respond in prayers for the salvation of all the nations named here. This is God's doing and it is marvelous in our sight. 

As Tikkun Global sent out before the Iranian attack:  “For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ” Zechariah 2:5

From these ministry emails, mostly taken from the day or & aftermath of the Iranian bombardment of Israel on 4/14, gave me the sense of a deep, assured peace that has settled on the Israeli Messianic Jewish ministry leadership. They describe the fears of Israelis, but among them it is like the miraculous outcome of defeating this mass attack by Iran has moved them into a place of heart confidence that the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob has come as the Shield and Spear of Israel. No weapon that is formed against Israel shall prosper as God enters Israel’s fight for survival before the eyes of the world.

Beginning with Jackie Santoro , Zion’s Glory and the Ahavat Yeshua congregation in Jerusalem, writes, “     At about 10:30 pm Saturday night, the news reported that the missiles, drones and rockets had been released from Iran and in a few hours would reach Israel.  By the grace of God, I stayed in His peace as I calmly prepared my "safe room" in case I had to sleep there. Throughout the night, I was glued to the TV, watching the events unfold. I appreciated what an incredibly historic moment this was and although I was not afraid, it was a bit unnerving to be facing this alone in my house! It was almost surreal to just sit and wait to be attacked! The IDF assured the Israeli public that they knew exactly what was coming and were able to take care of the threat. I believed that to be true and was comforted. God loves Israel. We are the apple of His eye. His hand was on us and His angels would be helping us to victory!  I never had to enter my safe room and watched on TV as the rockets came streaming across the night sky and were intercepted by our defense systems. At 4 am, the announcement came that 99% of the missiles, rockets and drones had been effectively eliminated before even getting into Israeli airspace! …. Pray for PM Netanyahu. He had surgery several weeks ago and because of the highly volatile situation, he never seemed to take a day to recover. He faces incredible attacks against his leadership from every corner of the world and especially from President Biden most recently. There is also significant division within the country as the war in Gaza continues and they can't seem to draw any closer to an agreement with Hamas to release the hostages. Hope grows dim that many are still left alive. He faces pressure that seems more than a human can endure and it shows on his face. Please pray for supernatural grace and strength, not only for him but for all those in government especially those involved in war decisions. Pray against the spirit of division that grips this country.
     …. The first night of Passover is April 22 and Passover preparations are in full swing but sadly it's under this dark cloud of war and grief…. Closely following Passover is Israel's Remembrance Day when we honor those killed in the Holocaust. This is followed a week later by Memorial Day when we remember those soldiers who have given their lives in wars throughout our history and those who have died in terror attacks. After that day, we go from mourning to joy as we celebrate Independence Day. . . . Thank you for all your uncompromising support in these critical and awesome days. Six months of this war feels like a lifetime but it’s still just the beginning of birth pains and all that God desires to accomplish. There is so much more to do! We will yet see God's hand of victory and the forces of Islamic Jihad destroyed. And when that happens, we believe a great opening to the gospel will come like a flood.

Plant Hope Israel, the prophetic ministry of Jennifer and her husband Eliahu Guetta in the Galilee region, remembers something that occurred 9 years ago “On the eve of Passover 2015, during the super blood moon, the Lord brought us together with Israelis and Iranians and 400 people from various churches. It was the same night that Obama signed the horrible nuclear deal that first gave Iran the ability to develop nuclear powers. We had just been saved from kabbalah by Yeshua supernaturally.      Thankfully a group of prayer warriors from the nations went on zoom, and prayed through the night with us. Praise God for the watchers of Israel, who keep praying even when times are hard. It is this promise that has stood by our ancestors throughout the generations, preserving the people and nation of Israel until this day.

We were chatting around a bonfire when suddenly we all received notifications that Iran had “at last” launched their attack…..We prayed together and over each other, knowing that God is sovereign over this whole situation. I felt a peace despite the news. When I returned home, my wife had prepared everything the best she could….. For some reason I wasn’t worried. Maybe I’ve become a bit desensitized after being in Gaza, having felt the impact of explosions that have knocked me off balance. And boy, I remember when I was in active duty during the 2nd Lebanon War in 2006, which was probably the most scared I ever felt hearing explosions falling all around me. Since then, the sounds of booms are not a foreign sound for me, especially since I’ve been in the Swords of Iron War for the last 6 months destroying terror infrastructure, especially tunnels. However, it is different when you are at home and with your own children. At around 2:00 AM, there were major booms of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles 500 Kg of explosive exploding in the sky….We praise God for HIS PROTECTION! ....This was an unprecedented attack like none other. A huge swarm of missiles were launched to destroy Israel! And last night was a miracle! Psalms 118:12:14 sums it up so well! “They swarmed around me like bees, but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns…”

Howard Bass of Yeshua’s Inheritance in Beer Sheva writes, “Thanks to all of you who were hearing the news, praying, writing in.  Praise God for His protection, and for the praying saints lending support.  Again we are encouraged by the Arab brothers and sisters who are not cheering on Israel's enemies, and we are challenged to maintain the unity of the Body in the bond of peace.  And, we are thankful to the Keeper of Israel for those countries, including Jordan, the US, Britain, France who helped with the downing of some of the drones and missiles.  And, once again, the same old story about the same old thing:  the US says to Israel that they are ironclad behind us against an Iranian attack, but they do not want Israel to attack Iran, and if we do, they will not support it.  You can defend yourself, but you cannot win.  Iran claims that their attack was justifiable self-defense, based on Article 51 of the UN Charter.  Apparently, Israel has no right to do the same, whether against Hamas/Gaza, Hezbollah/Lebanon, Houthis/Yemen -- all of whom are Iranian proxies -- not to mention their head, Iran. 
     Only the one true living God will eventually defeat decisively once-and-for-all in His way and in His time.  Until then, the aggressions of their enemies are adding up, and our Father is long-sufferingly waiting for His chosen people to call upon the name of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah/Jesus Christ to deliver and to save them.  Any peace agreement with the nations is guaranteed to fail.  God's peace agreement, signed and sealed with the blood of His Son on the cross for the New Covenant, is everlasting. God bless you as you stand with Him for the salvation of His people and nation, which will bring righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit to the whole world.

Dugit Outreach Avi & Chaya Mizrachi were deep into preparations for hosting their home “Passover Seder with our family, Jewish non-believers, and Arab Christians.” Then the Iranian bombardment began: “Many in Israel were thrown into panic and terror. Missile warning sirens blared across the land, even in Jerusalem. It was awful.  I am not sure if you know this, but this was Iran’s most direct attack on our soil in history. Praise be to Yeshua that Israel’s defenders were able to intercept nearly every missile and drone, and the damage and injuries were minimal…. While the physical effects were not as great as that horrific day in October, the emotional and mental effects of these attacks are weighing very heavily. The war with Gaza continues to the south, and the attacks from Hezbollah are ongoing in the north. We are all hurting. We are believing that God will bring something good from this. Hearts of the lost are searching. That is why these Passover gatherings are so important! While Chaya and I host people in our home, our Adonai Roi Congregation will also be hosting an outreach to bring believers and non-believing Jews around the table to read through the Haggadah and present Yeshua to them as the Lamb of God!
     May I humbly ask you to pray for these special Passover opportunities, that eyes will be open to Yeshua? And please pray about supporting us in the midst of these unprecedented times as attacks continue to drain resources throughout the land. We are responding to so many needs day in and day out. Fields of Wheat Eitan Shishkoff writes about the Katzir Passover camp for youth. Joel is away on active duty, so that means bringing on another young veteran of the camps: “A 17-year-old Israeli still hung over from an all-night drinking binge, arrived at our teen camp some fifteen years ago. This week, he'll return, but this time, he'll be directing the same camp!” Chaim tells his story of what happened to him at that camp and how it changed his life forever going forward. He says, “My name means life, but I was headed for death. My name is Chaim. I was raised as a pastor's son in a rough town near Tel Aviv. Drinking, fighting, and clubbing were a big part of my life when I was a teenager…. My best friend convinced me to come to Katzir (Harvest) youth camp. Hung over the first day of the camp, I didn't even care what was happening. I had never felt such a complete love!” Then on the second day of camp something happened: “I suddenly felt a strange, sensational feeling. It was like love had found me and surrounded me. I had never felt such a complete love—I was in total peace. I immediately knew it was God calling me to come to his love. At the same moment, my best friend had exactly the same experience, and he was on the other side of the room. Our eyes caught each other, and we both knew 100% what was going on and what we needed to do. So we prayed and gave our lives to Yeshua…and nothing has been the same since! Katzir truly saved my life!”
     Imagine what the Katzir youth are going to think hearing this testimony! Donna: I was very touched by this testimony because my husband and I had a quite similar experience only we we 30 & 40 something – but God called us together with an undeniable touch we both felt at the same time, turning to see it had happened to both of us. Called together – may God repeat this many times more in Israel as Yeshua gathers the lost sheep of Israel. Eitan says he will be reporting more as the camp gets underway. Elisheva Damkani has continued to carry the Trumpet of Salvation ministry for Jacob Damkani, one of the most famous evangelists of Israel. Revive Israel leaders Youval & Valerie Yanah write, “Sometimes God surprises us and provides for our needs in unexpected ways. Recently, Leket, a local organic farm generously donated organic summer seedlings to us. With these additions to our inventory alongside the ones we purchased, we were able to prepare the fields for summer and open our Friday market.” People come to market and many “purchase fresh vegetables and have the unique opportunity to hear about Yeshua for the first time.”
Their discipleship program from May-June “This time, the program will include Arab Israelis, fulfilling our heartfelt desire for all followers of Yeshua to be welcomed into our community. We ask for your continued prayers for wisdom and guidance from above. Please pray for the Lord’s protection over these participants, that they may be strengthened in spirit, soul, and body, and experience renewal.”

I wish I had room here to include all of LuAnne Sayag’s touching remembrance on their history at HaCarmel congregation which she titled, “The Time of Singing Birds.” They held a meeting at the House of Victory men’s rehab and she remembered how they had gathered there 33 years ago “as God started to build what would become a congregation. In my mind, I can still see Dani in his army uniform in that room, holding our oldest daughter at the Thursday night meeting. Karen Davis led worship there, and one could hear the beautiful music coming down the driveway. David Davis, her husband, was a dynamic preacher. I also remember seeing Rita Tsukahira, standing on the balcony and listening to her husband, Peter, teach, while her young children played beside her. Burt and Pam Singer were there, as well as others who are still in our midst, and they brought much comfort to us as a young couple. The roots of our congregation were in that room. There, many of us learned to walk in the ways of holiness, as righteous men of God taught us the Word of God…. Today, Eric Benson, director of Beit Nitzachon, told a similar story. After Israel’s very intense Saturday night dealing with the barrage of hundreds of missiles from Iran, including ballistic missiles (this was the first time ballistic missiles were fired on Israel since that 1st Gulf War), Eric woke up to the singing of birds on Sunday morning. Israel was not just ok — Israel was exceptionally beautiful! God had done it again! Glory to God!
     ….Amazingly, even though we are in the midst of a war and intense shakings are taking place all over the world, I had the sense that in this place where many great men and women had walked before, including Dr. Churcher (who had a medical clinic here to Jews and Arabs), and Hannah Hurnard (who wrote “Hinds Feet in High Places” while living here), God has great plans, and by His might and His Spirit, they will come to pass.  “The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove Is heard in our land” Song of Solomon 2:12.

Return to Zion’s Leon & Nina Mazin are also preparing for their congregational Passover and outreach to the elderly with hot meals and small gift of holiday treats, and new immigrants Passover sedar…. “this very important Feast. We want other people who are not yet familiar with it to participate in it. As a part of our ministry to new immigrants we’ll organize a small Pesach celebration for them. We want them to have the right sight of the history of Pesach. We also want them to know why God has formed and chosen the nation of Israel.”
     For many new immigrants that fled Ukraine and Russia Leon observes, “Many of them were frightened and were stricken with panic. Some tried to look calm but still were very scared because they had never experienced war. And it is heartbreaking to see how people suffer.  We believe this is a time when God can and will use us, those people who are called to serve Him. It’s not easy for us to be courageous and strong but we stand on the promise of our Almighty Heavenly Father Who gave this Land to Israeli people as an inheritance. But there is a condition for the promise to be realized: to obey the Heavenly Father, to hope and rely on Him only.
