Arrows 2025 July 25 War Over Reality

 Israel’s War Over Reality
and the Missing Support of Younger Christians

These are related subjects!
by Donna Diorio

In one of my favorite books of all time, The Three Battlegrounds by Francis Frangipane, chapter 15 is titled, The War Over Reality. I may have never as clearly understood what that meant until now, but that is exactly the warfare we are fighting in all our nations. This is true of Israel more than all the other nations, because Israel is ground zero for all the wars over reality being fought on this planet. And alll the wars for reality will reach their climax in Israel. In fact, in Jerusalem where Israel’s Messiah will defeat all the enemies we are fighting against because of their opposition to God’s will.
Maybe that sounds grandiose to you or maybe you think it is too simplistic. I don’t think so. As Frangipane wrote, “…the essence of spiritual warfare is in who shall define reality: the Word of God of the illusions of this present age.” That rounds up every narrative in every nation that we are spiritually battling and it all comes to the decisive victory in the return of Jesus to rule His kingdom from His throne in Jerusalem.
Israel is no side issue in the battles we are tackling in our own countries – the lawlessness, corruption, overwhelmed borders by those that mean us harm. Islamists, urban anarchists and other beastly combatants from beastly regimes seek to overrun us, upending our storied past as a righteous nation among the nations. Where did we go wrong? That is also easy: we chose to believe lying narratives instead of the Source of Truth, God’s Word.
The truth is that especially Western nations so embattled now with the rise of both Islamists and other forms of anarchy seeking to overthrow our governments, it’s the same kind of belligerent threats and incidents of great death and destruction that they have told Israel it would just have to put up with.
We CHOSE to believe the lying narratives that presented the warfare between Israel and the Palestinians, and surrounding nations, as being reciprocal, instead of acknowledging the truth that Israel has been in defense mode since the formation of the modern State of Israel in 1948. The nations did not care about Israel’s plight.
In this I keep hearing the echo of the High Priest Caiaphas in John 11:50 saying of Yeshua, "Nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” The echo is from the nations, but it is not of God, saying, ‘it is expedient for our nations if Israel is sacrificed, rather than we have to stand up to Islam with them. It was God’s intention for Jesus to be sacrificed on behalf of all humanity but it is not God’s will that Israel be made the sacrifice of the nations to remain safe from the false religion Islam. That has been the global fantasy anyway. Islam is not going to stop coming for domination of the nations.
But in our delusion, the nations of the world has continued to tell Israel that they would be allowed them to defend themselves, but would not be allowed to thoroughly defeat their enemies. The nations think they can stop the complete defeat of Hamas by Israel, but I don’t believe Israel is going to let Hamas off to rise and kill Israelis again. As God arises for Israel in these last days, God’s Word promises to override all nations that try to hold Israel to ceasing before dealing with the threat to their survival.
Like in the days of old, God is fighting for Israel’s part.
It is God who is giving Israel the victory over Hamas, Iran, Hezballah, the Houthis and the new terrorists who reign over Syria. Let the nations fuss and fume, God is going to strengthen Israel to prevail over every enemy until it is time for the Lion of Judah to split open the sky and come to defend Israel in Person. That is the ultimate reality that I believe in and my conviction of that brings me alongside Israel until “It is finished” is manifested throughout the Land of Israel.
We live in momentous times – battle lines are being drawn, sides are being taken. Some who are fooled now will awaken to reality later, for it is a line God has drawn into the sand for this hour. We have to be obedient to His call to us to partner on Israel’s behalf. This is especially concerning for young people who are the missing demographic in Christians who support Israel. Too many of them have been educated against Israel, both in school studies and among peers who have ‘toxic empathy’ for the false narratives of Palestinian activists in our nations. To draw younger Christians and non-believers for Israel, it is not those who follow their peer group who will bring them in, but those willing to be different – exposing their peers to God’s purposes for them and for Israel in this last, magnificent and challenging period of human history.
In Daniel 11 we are given a glimpse into the perilous times in which we live and those we are building up to. In verses 32 and 33, speaking of the Antichrist, Daniel prophesies, 32 With slippery smooth words he will corrupt those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him. 33 Those with insight will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by sword or flame, or be captured or plundered.”
Revelation 12:11 does not leave it there with dying “by sword or flame, or be captured or plundered.”
But says, "They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. And they did not love their lives so as to shy away from death." It is the victory that overcomes death as
Paul said in 1 Cor 15:55, "O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?" It is the same as Yeshua’s death, 1 Cor 2:7-8 "No, we speak of the mysterious and hidden wisdom of God, which He destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it.  For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."
The time is now for those with insight to instruct many. Let’s pray for more opportunities to instruct younger generations of God’s love and plans for them even in His desire to fully restore Israel. It is the most exciting Divine work that a lover of God could be a part of – as we do, our personal spiritual growth will multiply until we all truly resemble Yeshua – like a Bride without spot or wrinkle.

Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

I am beginning this issue of Arrows featuring the Israeli Ministries who have written about stunning lies that have been accepted as truth in recent days that could impact American-Israeli relations. In the War Over Reality, the first battle is in our own minds, what we accept as true. The second battle is in prayer about the areas and people who are under assault by lies, and the third battle is communicating to others what we know to be the truth. We pray, but we are also hands on to counter lies that can lead many astray – from Presidents and Prime Ministers, to other government officials and among believers. When the truth is under attack, it is our duty to pray and to speak out.

Our friend from Ahavat Yeshua Congregation in Jerusalem, Jackie Santoro writes about the pressures and stresses being felt by all Israelis as “The war in Gaza feels never ending.” (Just yesterday 7/24 Hamas turned down another chance to release hostages and stop the fighting. It is what they always do.) Jackie writes of Israelis hope for the hostages, the preference of the ultraorthodox to go to jail rather than serve the country like the rest of Israelis do in the IDF, missiles, and a new political crisis almost every day. It is exhausting on top of picking up after all the damage and deaths since Oct 7th 2023. Jackie writes, “thousands more have been left homeless, traumatized and grieving…. There is a deluge of tears going up to heaven from every corner in this nation.
Anti semitism is rising at alarming rates throughout the world and life goes on here as if this is all "normal". But it isn't, of course…. the Druze in Syria are being mercilessly massacred and Israel has to step in to protect them. And President Trump ['s isolationist inner circle] calls Netanyahu “crazy” [although it is being repeated in the media as coming from Trump's mouth.] All of these events may have originated in the pit of hell but we know it will all end up as a victory for the Kingdom of God…. we press on to the high calling with perseverance and joy….. The gospel is going forth and inroads are being made. Seeds are being planted in every field. If we but see with heavenly vision, we can see the atmosphere changing, hearts softening and the God of Israel being acknowledged in every sphere. His hand is on this nation He so passionately loves and His heart beats with ours. He will change our mourning into joy. We will yet dance and rejoice as we see signs and wonders begin to pour forth out of the sufferings.
Jackie asks prayers for PM Netanyahu and President Trump – to hear from heaven and make right decisions. . . .”for the rain of the spirit on the seeds of the Good News that are being sown….against every attack on our intercessors …for the will of God in Israel and throughout the world. Pray for our elders and pastors that they would stay strong and courageous and uncompromising in this difficult hour and may they be an encouragement of faith, boldness and love.”

Reuven Doron has been countering the several lies that have been reported by the news over the past several days on his OneNewManCall Facebook page. When it comes to Israel we have to press pause and make sure we are getting the correct story – the same is true with reports about Trump! -DD
3 days ago Reuven published this featuring American conservative & isolationist Matt Gaetz reporting an Israeli citizen being killed by Israeli settlers. ALSO While Palestinians spin a narrative that people are starving in Gaza, Reuven shows this footage of the IDF delivering food supplies and hundreds of men running out to get food for their families, but not before stopping with hands raised in the air cheering what the Israeli army has blessed them. See it here. I also saw on X a video of Hamas in an underground location feasting on the bounty of food they stole from humanitarian food supplies for the Gazan people.
the Taybeh Incident where US Ambassador Mike Huckabee was misquoted by news reports after visiting an ancient church Palestinians were claiming was burned down by settlers. Reuven posts this YouTube visit to Taybeh showing why the report was false. The news reports, again, did damage on both sides – Israelis believed Huckabee had condemned them and many Americans also believed the lying narrative of Palestinians. Mike Huckabee released his own comment on X (and the Israel Police comment about investigating the incident.
Now back to last Friday’s (7/18) prayer letter from Reuven, Season of Wars | ….Israel is supporting the opposition forces in Iran who try to bring down the Ayatollahs’ demonic Jihadi regime. Israel deployed the IDF in recent days to protect the Druze minorities in Syria from being “ethnically cleansed” by Julani’s Sunni Jihadists (the terrorist leader of Syria who took control during the recent civil war). His Sunni gangs butcher the Druze with the same brutality of October the 7th. Israel is the only Middle Eastern nation that is safe for Christians and for any other ethnic minority. In fact, every persecuted minority throughout the Arab muslim world is today hoping to be accepted into Israel’s covering protection. While the world is turning a blind eye to the massacres taking place under various Islamic regimes, we cannot ignore the ones happening on our borders.
While the West complains about Israeli military action against the Jihadi regime in Syria, Israel is in fact the historic and heroic actor in this mess. The Sunni Jihadi new “government” of Syria first massacred their Christians, then the Alawites, now the Druze. They plan to finish with the Kurds up north as Sunni Muslim Jihad cannot tolerate any other faith. They openly promise and proclaim that once they are done cleansing “their own religious and ethnic minorities” they’ll turn against the Jewish State. The Woke and weak world can complain to high heaven, but Israel MUST smite them first before they turn our northwestern border with Syria into another Gaza terror infested front.
…. By His wisdom, our Heavenly Father chose to close this age of grace with two great controversies running side by side. The first is the ancient controversy over the Land promised to Abraham and to his descendants through Isaac and Jacob. The second is the controversy of the Gospel of Grace that flies in the face of an ungrateful and unbelieving darkened world. Israel battles over the first controversy. The true Ekklesia Church is waging war in the Spirit over the second controversy. Both controversies testify of God’s sovereignty and the authority of His Word, and we don’t expect the fight to relax until He returns with His Kingdom.
DD: So much great information in this prayer letter – consider subscribing!

Sally Shiff, email her, in HaMaayan congregation sent an eyewitness account from someone obviously free to travel into Syria that is a hair-raising account of attacks against non-Islamists 7/21:  Genocides have been happening in Syria far from the media coverage, starting with the Alawites in the coastal area and presently with the Druze in Sweyda, many people have been killed, burned alive, girls are raped, and many Druze leaders have been dishonored. . . . Christians have not been spared and many have been killed, churches burned and mass exodus is happening now. Some fleeing to Jaramana, and some to Lebanon. Yesterday a pastor was killed with his whole family including siblings, parents and children have been martyred. This pastor was from Druze background. . . . The important thing to take note of is that though President Al Sharaa is making deals with the US president and saying that he condemns the massacres, truth is that he is not implementing peace in the land and people have lost their hope that he might be bringing a change.
(DD: President Trump is getting BAD info from US Envoy to Turkey & Syria, Tom Barrack. He is a disaster criticizing Israel’s defense of Druze amid ethnic cleansing. Listen to the Mark Levin Show podcast on this subject for free.)
The writer goes on to tell how the Christian community in Syria is living in fear of becoming the next target of Al Sharaa’s terrorist army. They visited with a family in grieving and physical recovery from a terrorist entering their church to detonate a bomb & men of the church threw themselves on him to absorb the shock and save their families. He goes on to write for prayers and, “Our brothers and sisters need to know they are not alone and that they are not forgotten !! May they be bold enough to stand firm in the midst of persecution. And may they experience the presence of God in tangible ways through divine interventions and the miracles of his amazing love. “But this is a people robbed and plundered; they are all of them snared in holes and hidden in houses of bondage. They have become a prey, with no one to deliver them, a spoil, with no one to say, Restore them!”  Isaiah 42:22

Healing a Nation | Excerpts by Stefan Silver for Out of Zion | This is not an easy or comfortable issue to write about, but I believe it is truly important for people to understand the atrocity, barbarity and pure evilness of what Hamas did when close to 5,000 terrorists invaded, and for several hours controlled, the Gaza envelope. On that dark morning, Hamas and supporting Gazans committed the most horrendous crimes known to man, including monstruous sexual crimes against Israeli women and men. The brutality of the attacks, particularly the systematic use of sexual violence as a weapon of war, was staggering. Last week, The Dinah Project released a detailed report titled “A Quest for Justice: October 7 and Beyond”, shedding light on the horrors that occurred and the legal challenge of holding the perpetrators accountable.  The report reveals that sexual violence was not incidental—it was a calculated tactic deployed by Hamas to inflict terror and dismantle the social fabric of Israeli communities.
     . . . .
As those who stand with Israel, I believe it is important to understand the depth of trauma that many in Israel (and you could say the Israeli society as a whole) are dealing with due to these horrifying events, so that you can pray and intercede with more insight and a deeper identification.
In Isaiah 61:3, God declares His intention “to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” To subscribe.

When I keep writing about how incredible and powerful the ministry accounts are it is not exaggeration. These Israeli Messianic ministers are anointed not only to bear the burdens of their people over their heart, but also to be able to express it to the rest of the spiritual body of the LORD. This is why they have been mandated by God to bring in the harvest of souls in Israel.

The next letter up is from Tiferet Yeshua and it actually contains 2 strong accounts of what life is like in Israel, one apparently from the team and the other is from Pastor Moti Cohen who was called up to Reserve duty, which the IDF allowed him to serve in the Tel Aviv Homefront needs. You know Tel Aviv was hard hit during the 12 days of ballistic missile fire from Iran, and Moti Cohen talks about the rescue searches after the cluster bombs hit and the human toll that was taken.
Moti wrote, “My most recent reserve duty was the most difficult ever because I was serving on the frontlines of a war which was literally on the doorstep of my home, and I found myself working at sites of massive devastation in my home city. It was also probably one of the most difficult things I have ever been through emotionally and psychologically.” Honestly, you need to follow this link and let yourself be touched by Moti’s account.
Read in full online with pictures  One online reader commented, that is was “gripping.” Yes, it was.
     Also from the team
Unrelenting Pressure, Unfailing Grace  | For nearly two weeks we were in around-the-clock air raid sirens which, in and of themselves, aren’t new for us.  However, the heart-racing anxiety of these sirens announcing missiles was different: unlike other missiles launched at us by Hamas or Hezbollah, the Iranian missiles cause massive devastation on impact. Thankfully, only small numbers were able to get through our missile defense systems. Unlike Israel in its war with Hamas in which we do all we can to minimize civilian causalities, Iran was deliberately trying to kill as many civilians as possible, and therefore their focus was on Israel’s most densely populated area - the greater Tel Aviv metropolis. In the 12 days of war with Iran, 29 people were killed, over 3,000 were hospitalized, and 13,000 people were displaced.  We experienced those statistics in two intense weeks of fear, anxiety, and sleepless nights. In the midst of it all, our team was trying to work, to be there for the people of the congregation with spiritual and emotional support and to help those in need. . . . Walking with the Lord does not mean we are immune to fear, stress and anxiety. We experience those natural human emotions in response to danger and trauma like everyone else. What is different is that in the midst of the fear and anxiety, we cling to God daily, and those emotions then do not overcome us.
. . . In 2025, we have seen a 75% increase from the previous year in the number of people requesting financial support. Our pastoral team has been working overtime as well to meet the needs of people who are in need of more spiritual and emotional support. The overwhelming support and encouragement from partners like you have enabled us to meet the needs of individuals and families from Tiferet Yeshua congregation, as well as several other ministries we’ve been able to help in their time of need. . . . . Your prayers and support enable us to keep ministering to the lost in Tel Aviv and raise up a healthy, growing congregation in the heart of our city. Love in Yeshua from Moti and the Tiferet Yeshua Team  Give Today

From the Revive Israel team led by Youval and Valerie Yanay write, “in the midst of uncertainty, we choose to anchor our hope in the Lord. As a spiritual family, we invite you to join us in standing in the gap in prayer for Israel and all those impacted by this critical hour.
Please continue to lift up our IDF soldiers, young men and women, risking their lives daily to defend the people of Israel. Pray for supernatural protection over every soldier on the front lines, for strength in body and spirit, and for peace that surpasses understanding to guard their hearts. As conflict persists in Gaza and tensions rise on our northern border with Syria, particularly surrounding the Druze communities, we ask for divine covering over the innocent, those caught in the crossfire, families displaced, and children living in fear. May the mercy of God be poured out over every life.
Pray also for a breakthrough in the release of the hostages still held in Gaza. We cry out for their freedom and for comfort for their families. Ask the Lord for wisdom for our leaders and unity in the government, that decisions would be guided by righteousness, not fear or pride. . . . Now is the time for bold intercession. We stand as prayer warriors, watchmen on the walls of Israel, trusting not in systems or man, but in the unshakable promises of our God. Thank you for standing with us. “In you, O Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me! Incline your ear to me; rescue me speedily! Be a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me! For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name’s sake you lead me and guide me.” – Psalm 31:1-3

Ruby Bishai of Fields of Wheat finally made it back home after the Iran war kept him from his departure time. It was difficult, he writes, but clearly he was blessed: “So, this is me, saying thank you, from the bottom of my heart. To every one of you who opened your doors, welcomed me into your churches, invited me into your homes, and took the time to connect: Thank You! You reminded me why I do what I do. You reminded me what the body of Messiah is meant to look like.  As an Arab, I come from a culture where hospitality is sacred. And yet, even I was blown away by the generosity I experienced, often from people I had just met.”
He wrote about his vision for Arab Youth Camps (Katzir): “So many of you responded with excitement when I shared about the Arab side of our ministry. Honestly, your encouragement lit a fire in me. I feel called to pour even more into these camps.
By now the Katzir Summer Youth Camp is begun & Rubi asked for prayers over the camp: Please pray for strength, for God to move powerfully in the lives of the teens, and for protection over every part of this camp. “Thank you for standing with me, praying with me, and walking alongside me in this journey. I truly can’t wait to see many of you again, whether back in the U.S. or maybe next time, right here in Israel. With all my love and gratitude, Ruby Bishai | Look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
Give to help us equip our youth!

Shelanu TV Director Evan Santoro writes of the extremely difficult season in Israel as “People have now spent years in a state of constant tension, and there is a general feeling of exhaustion, heartbreak, and deep grief. If we look at the situation naturally, there is cause for both fear and trepidation, but if we look with our spiritual eyes, we can see the hand of the Lord on this tiny nation. God has a plan and His plan is perfect. We must have faith and not waver in our belief that He is on the throne and Israel is His beloved nation. If the Lord is on our side, then who can be against us?  What the Lord has begun, He shall see unto completion.
The Body of Messiah in the Land continues to grow and prosper. Once very few here even knew that there were Jews who believed in Jesus. Today, almost everyone has either heard or met someone with our faith. We are a light to this Nation and are raising the standard of truth and love. Believers in the Land are known for being honest, loving, and hardworking people. And in these days that are so hard to understand, we have a hope that fills our hearts and shines out to those around us. There is no doubt that with so much evil and darkness all around, we who are filled with the Spirit stand out.
At Shelanu TV it is this message of love and hope that we are broadcasting over social media and 24/7 internet television. As times continue to be incredibly challenging and people are looking for an answer, we are here to share with them the truth of Yeshua the Messiah. We are continually planting seeds that we know God will water and in His perfect timing bear fruit for the glory of the Lord. These are exciting times in the Spirit, and we are privileged to play our part in what it is that God has for the nation of Israel. We are in a special and unique season and NOW is the time to spread the Gospel message in Israel. NOW is the time to reach out with signs, miracles, and the unwavering, never-ending love of our Savior and Messiah, Yeshua! Only with your prayers and support can we continue to proclaim the love of Jesus throughout Israel. We need you now more than ever! What’s Happening in Syria: VIDEO on Why Israel Defended the Druze in Syria & all of Chaim’s Daily Video Updates

This week Tree of Life Israel ministries led by Ariel and Shayla Hyde began taping a man-on-the-street interview of Israelis. Pray for much fruitfulness to come of it, as Ariel shares, “Several weeks ago, we fasted and prayed as a team and asked the Lord to show us what video He wanted us to make next. A few days later, I had a dream where someone named Michael told me, “You need to make a video showing that God is innocent. I immediately knew what he meant. We’ve seen so many Israelis asking, “Where’s God in the midst of suffering and evil?” This is one of the biggest objections to faith in God in general, but especially for Jewish people and Israelis, after experiencing countless tragedies as a people, including the Holocaust and most recently, October 7th.
“The wounds run deep. This gets intensely personal for many of us. So this isn’t only a challenging question to answer intellectually - people need grace and truth that will bring healing to their hearts as well. We’ve prayed over this for hours, researched the topic from many angles, then wrestled with which Scriptures, points, and analogies to share, and what questions to ask the interviewees. Yes, this is a street interview, which makes it in some senses even more difficult because we never know what objections and reactions people will have. Honestly, I feel inadequate for the task.”
He asked for prayers and for the Holy Spirit to be with them in it all. “We know that it’s God’s deep desire for His people Israel to know His goodness and His love, and to know the ultimate answer to evil and suffering…. So Please Pray with Us:  …. For the impact - that the video would come together in a beautiful and compelling way, that it would reach multitudes across Israel and the world, that the truth of the Gospel would both break down strongholds and bring healing to broken hearts, and that many captives would be set free for eternity

Avi Mizrachi of Dugit Ministries writes, “Prime Minister Netanyahu called this conflict Operation Rising Lion, inspired by the words of Scripture: “Behold, the people rise like a lion, and as a lion lifts itself up…” — Numbers 23:24 |  The operation may be over. But for so many in Israel, the war is not behind us—it is all around us. Even though the headlines have moved on, we stand rebuilding and believing. Bombed homes. Shattered families. Displaced children. Fear that still lingers in the hearts of those young and old alike. As the dust settles and the silence replaces chaos, one thing becomes clear: This is not just a scene of devastation. It’s a canvas of renewal. The needs are overwhelming—yes. But so is the hope. So is the resilience. So is the promise that from these ashes, beauty will rise.
At Dugit, we are doing all we can to meet those needs. With God’s help and your partnership, we are: Providing food, hygiene supplies, and essentials through our Distribution Center to families that have lost everything. Ministering to Israeli youth through our HaOgen Café, where many are searching for hope and truth in the midst of loss and chaos. Supporting believers in Tel Aviv, Netanya, Bat Yam, and other cities who lost homes, jobs, and loved ones. But we cannot do it alone. Will you partner with Dugit Outreach Ministries now?”  Give Now

Donna: There was an overflow of letters this week, but early on the Spirit led me to focus on countering the lies that so many in the world are believing against Israel. As this week went by after I wrote my opening comment on the War for Reality, I have watched news story after news story stir up even more anti-Semitism in the nations because of LYING NARRATIVES. Here is one more I want to tackle and it is one that is needed inside Israel.
     Jay Sekulow’s “
ACLJ  Jerusalem Office Sounded the Alarm in 2023 – Now Congress Announces Findings of Nearly $1 Billion in US Funding Behind Anti-Israel Protests.”
I know that many Israelis Messianics have been in denial about the truth of this matter, thinking it only reflected the true state of division among Israeli Jews. The old “Two Jews, Three Opinions” proverb. But it is far worse than that and it should not be downplayed.  We experienced the same thing in the USA in 2020 against President Trump when paid anarchists and BLM activists burned down many city streets across America and murdered many in the process as well.
To deny the reality of what paid anarchists can cause public division and disintegration of lawfulness, is to be full tilt deceived. Netanyahu may not be your ideal in all things, but I shudder to think what would have happened since October 7th without his spine to fight with all Israel’s might. And even though There was a successful usurping of the American voting public as an outcome of the lawlessness in our streets in 2020, I shudder to think what Iran could have gotten away with nuke-wise if President Trump had not returned to office in time to bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. I thank God that both Netanyahu and Trump were at the helm of our countries “for such a time as this.”

  Anti-Semitism is growing

As anti-Semitism explodes across the Western world, it’s now commonplace to see formerly thoughtful media commentators aiming arrows of Jew-hatred in every direction.
New and rabid conspiracy theories accuse Jews of all the old medieval blood-libels – and then some!
From false charges of dual loyalty and treason, to allegations of world Jewish conspiracy led purportedly by the Israeli intelligence agency MOSSAD – these dog-whistle smears are now fair game, coming mostly from the unhinged and unbalanced side of America’s right wing….on the left side of America’s political aisle are … embracing Hamas and Islamist talking points, leveling charges of genocide as official Israeli governmental policy.
In an unusual activist maelstrom, elements of both Left and Right in the West are paddling their canoes into the center of the political aisle, crashing onto turbulent and rocky anti-Semitic waters. This dynamic reminds one the new forms of anti-Semitism which arose during the 1800’s.
They focused on supposed secret Jewish societies which (so they said) control the world, all banks and all national economies; foster the spread of all non-Christian worldviews; dictate the direction of all media and movie companies, etc. Their teachings focused on a supposed Jewish occult secret society called ‘the Illuminati’ who, according to this satanic perspective, created both capitalism and communism in order to enslave all Gentiles. … any anti-Christian development in popular culture is instigated by Jews; America’s banks and entertainment industries are secretly being directed by anti-Christ Jews; any American support of the Jewish state is another example of Jewish anti-Christ control of the superpowers.
Such views were popular within the Nazi hierarchy and championed by Joseph Goebbels. They are widely held in the Islamic world, and have a strong measure of popular support in the former Communist Bloc. Many of these ideas have re-appeared in anti-Zionist and anti-Israel movements. Some Evangelical groups who advocate for BDS (boycott of Jewish products from Israel) do not see the irony that their own actions and beliefs are strikingly similar to those Nazi who boycotted Jewish shops and goods in Germany of the 1930’s.
These ideas crystallized in a forgery by Pavel Krushevan, an ultra-nationalist and stridently anti-Semitic journalist active in the Black Hundreds and in the Kishinev pogrom. In 1903 he published The Protocols of the Elders of Zion in Saint Petersburg, Russia. This booklet was a clumsy fabrication, with approximately 160 passages plagiarized from a French original that never mentioned Jews.
The Protocols ostensibly reports discussions among a secret group of Jewish elders, regarding plans to subvert Christian civilization and erect a world-wide Zionist state. According to the book’s worldview, the rise of liberalism has provided Jews with the tools to destroy Christian institutions ….Their plan is to take control of the world as revenge against Christianity. The text focuses on supposed Jewish control of banking, media and elections. It is stated that a new world order will be manipulated and directed by this cunning elite, who have purportedly schemed throughout the ages – planning to enslave humankind until the end of time….Eventually the Protocols were used to blame Jews for the Russian Revolution.
Elie Wiesel, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate once said, “If ever a piece of writing could produce mass hatred, it is this one . . . This book is about lies and slander.” The blowback of these anti-Semitic floods in the 1930’s led to state-sponsored anti-Semitism, street attacks, the rounding up and imprisonment of Jews and eventually genocide – coming from both Hitler’s Reich and Stalin’s Soviets. Though many today are blind to the lengthening shadows, the world is about to revisit those days once again.
Moses unpacks similar dynamics in his own day | A formerly friendly pro-Semitic Pharaonic Empire morphed into an anti-Semitic and genocidal dictatorship. The resulting slavery and torturous treatment of the Jewish people by Egypt jump-started the ‘blessing-cursing’ dynamic of the Abrahamic Covenant in Genesis 12:3: “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed!”
The evil transition in Egypt started through cold-heartedness in the heart of imperial leadership. Fear of the Jewish people opened the door to callousness, and eventually to a murderous ruthlessness on the part of the Pharaohs. (Exodus 1:5-10) and (Exodus 2:23-25)
The Jewish people – the heart of the matter | When a nation’s leaders or spokesmen and women aim their verbal spears at Isaac’s progeny, the foundations of that country are at risk. YHVH is emotionally invested in what happens to Jacob’s children: “In all their affliction He was afflicted” (Isaiah 63:9) | “For YHVH of armies says this: ‘After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye’” (Zechariah 2:8)
God is all about the heart | The Scriptures keep driving this point home: the God of Israel spotlights the heart, and He is looking for a process which will lead to a changed heart in His followers:  “Do not let kindness and truth leave you! Bind them around your neck! Write them on the tablet of your heart” (Proverbs 3:3) | Also Proverbs 7:2-3, Jeremiah 31:33, Ezekiel 11:17-19, 2 Corinthians 3:2-3, and Ezekiel 36:24-28.
A cold heart brings about a cold result | Messiah Yeshua gave us a way to take the pulse of our nation and our planet: When men’s and women’s heart grow cold, our world is in danger: “And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold” (Matthew 24:12) | “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)
Taking the temperature of the world’s heart concerning the Jewish people | Many people will be shocked to discover that Messiah Yeshua will be judging the nations when He returns – weighing the spiritual temperature of their hearts vis-à-vis the Jewish people. | “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me’” (Matthew 25:34-40)
Matthew refers to the Jewish people as ‘the brothers of Yeshua’ and ‘the descendants of Abraham.’  These are New Covenant conceptual terms for the Jewish people: "For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for this reason, He is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters, saying, 'I will proclaim Your name to My brothers; In the midst of the [Temple] Assembly, I will sing Your praise!' . . . Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. For clearly, He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendants of Abraham! (Hebrews 2:10-16)
A practical way to counter-act anti-Semitism in our day involves standing with and protecting the Jewish people in their hour of need. Matthew 25:31-46 can become a basis for meditation, encouragement and challenge regarding how we will stand with Yeshua’s Jewish brethren.
If you are not quite sure how to go about this, here is an initial helpful idea: whatever talking heads like Tucker Carlson or Candace Owen suggest what to believe, what to think or what to do regarding the Jewish people or the Jewish state – do just the opposite!
Suppressors of the truth | “In war, truth is the first casualty,” said the Greek playwright Aeschylus. The Apostles Paul and John added some thoughts here which speak directly to our fast-morphing society: "Therefore, Pilate said to Him, 'So You are a king?' Jesus answered, 'You say correctly that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.' Pilate said to Him, 'What is truth?' (John 18:37-38. Additional scriptures quote: Genesis 6:5-13, 2 Timothy 3:13, Romans 1:18, Romans 1:23, Hebrews 4:12)
How shall we then pray? | As we pray for our country, our city, our congregation, our family and our friends, let us ask God to soften the hearts of all these people | Let us ask the God of Jacob to have mercy on all these people | Let us ask the God of Israel to keep our own hearts tender, and not become bitter as lawlessness increases | Pray for the raising up of Ezekiel’s prophetic Jewish army throughout the earth.

Tikkun Global in a call for prayer over the Syrian Druze Emergency wrote, A few months ago, we published an article explaining the background of the situation in Syria, with a particular emphasis on the Druze population. Looking back, the article seems particularly relevant and even more so today. One crucial excerpt:  In crying out to Israel for help the Druze reported that “over one thousand people were slaughtered!  These are not collateral casualties in a declared, legitimate war, but planned ISIS-style terror warfare. The horrors include public executions, throwing children off roofs, and religious humiliation - all designed to intimidate the Druze population into submission. . . . and still after responding to the Druze call for help “Western diplomatic and media forums were quick to condemn Israel for aggression.”

As Ronit Bender in Isfiya shared how her life went during the Iranian war (she does not have access to a nearby bomb shelter) she also wrote about the first war she was in. It was the 1956 Sinai War. “It was a scary time for this 6-year-old.” She the Iranian war was different. It ‘only’ took 12 day but those “missiles sent from Iran and their explosions were felt, as so many places got either hit directly or felt the blow.” She had to do shopping and was caught having to run to a crowded grocer safe room with no air conditioning. In the crowded heat one woman fainted and Ronit says, “It was like scenes from a horror movie.” But on those days when Ronit was stuck inside, she had a lot of “communicating with people around the world, answering questions and correcting what was going on here, as most of the world's media were and continue to be against Israel, twisting news to their bias. And for locals I found myself encouraging people on the phone, as fear was very real. I had opportunities to share the Gospel with people who do not believe yet. So time was not wasted.”  On one days she was at her hairdresser friend’s salon “a minute before I was going to leave the salon, but the Lord told me to stay. An Arab woman named Y came in. She has just been through Chemo treatment and although declared free of cancer, she feels very weak and sick. As she came in and saw me, she ran towards me asking me for a hug. Tears were running down my face as I embraced her. Right there in the middle of that salon, a Jewish woman was hugging an Arab one. This is how real peace comes to the Middle East: through the embrace of Yeshua! She would not let go, and it became very quiet in the room, as I prayed for her.” In another encounter Ronit regularly sees, the woman who is a waitress wanted Ronit to take a picture with her. “She told me that when I hug her, she feels safe.” And this is the point: “My prayer is from Isaiah 32:2, "A man will be as a hiding place from the wind, and a cover from the tempest, as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land," that WE who are BELIEVERS IN YESHUA WILL BE A HIDING PLACE FOR THOSE THAT NEVER MET HIM YET! The next verse is the results of that protective space: The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen."

At Revive Israel they report similar: “we’ve been experiencing the gentle rhythm of God’s grace in both simple moments and meaningful connections…. This week, we hosted a Sunset Market on the moshav, a peaceful time to come together as the air cooled and the light softened. We set out fresh vegetables from our farm, brewed coffee, and served natural juices. Locals and visitors joined not just to shop, but to slow down, connect, and share life. In these simple moments of hospitality, through smiles, conversations, and the warmth of being together, we find these Kingdom touchpoints…. That same heart of connection is being carried abroad this week as Tal travels in France…. Pray that eyes will be opened and hearts awakened to deeper revelation of God through His Word and His people.”
Also Healing Hearts with Equine Therapy |….For over a decade, Revive Israel has partnered with King David’s Stables to bring healing to children of Messianic single parents, many of whom carry deep emotional wounds from abandonment, loss, and hardship. These riding sessions aren’t just therapeutic; they are holy moments where God restores dignity, identity, and hope. Children once violent or withdrawn begin to smile, speak, and dream again. . . . Every year, 40 children enter this space of healing, learning not just to ride, but to reignite their God-given confidence and come into alignment with His divine order (Genesis 1:28). This is pure devotion, caring for the widows and orphans of today (James 1:27). Click to learn more about this life-changing work.

Out of Zion Video Update: Operation "Rising Lion" Explained | This week, instead of a written teaching and update, we're sharing with the below video from ICEJ UK's Jerusalem Dispatch Live, where Stefan discussed Israel's dramatic war with Iran in Operation "Rising Lion" (Numbers 23:24). | Translation is available in the within the video.

Leon Mazin of the Return to Zion Center in Haifa has announced a really exciting project that will bring all sorts of tourists and citizens in the way of a Historical Exhibition in Haifa's German Colony. It will be  a permanent, professionally curated exhibition that chronicles the journey of the Jewish people—from the Babylonian exile to modern-day Israelhighlighting God’s faithfulness, the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, and the miraculous restoration of our people. More than a timeline, this exhibition will be a living testimony—connecting visitors to the heartbeat of Scripture, Jewish heritage, and the unfolding story of redemption through Yeshua.”

Leon writes, “Like the successful model at Beit Immanuel in Jaffa, our vision is to attract hundreds of Israeli visitors each monthincluding Hebrew and Russian speakers—who will come for cultural and historical interest and, in doing so, encounter the Gospel in a natural and meaningful way.
Join Us in Making History | This exhibition will serve as a bridge—between past and present, faith and culture, visitors and the message of salvation. By supporting this project, you help build a testimony that will outlast us, one that will bring light to many and glorify the God of Israel. We invite you to stand with us as we create this permanent space for restoration, learning, and Gospel impact. Got questions in regards to this project? Feel free to ask by email. (Donna: In fact, write Leon and ask to be sent this email. This is such a fantastic vision with super potential to draw Israelis.)
Leon’s most recent email is about the 12-day Iranian war: “Twelve days spent in bomb shelters were like a crucible of the soul. It was a time of fear, but also a time of grace. We can say with confidence: faith is the anchor of the soul. Many of our brothers and sisters from the Congregation found themselves not just seeking refuge but becoming refuge for others. In crowded public shelters, they became vessels of God’s comfort, bearing peace where fear reigned. It was not that they were without fear—but that they carried light in spite of it.
Today, physicians and mental health professionals speak of a wave of depression, “cracked teeth” from night-time grinding, and a rise of panic attacks. These are merely outward symptoms of the pressure the people have endured. Fear, sorrow, anxiety—all of these have passed through our land and left their marks, not only on buildings and bodies, but deep inside, on people’s hearts.
And yet, into this silence, a voice speaks. Words from prophet Joel (2:23–26) have begun to stir in our hearts like a prophetical response of healing. A cry. And a hope. “

Sally Shiff, an intercessor in the Kfar Saba congregation HaMaayan, has written an update 6 days a week since Oct 7th, 2025. In the last two she explains so much of what just happened between Syria and Israel and I’m here to tell you that your news & talking heads commentators are not telling the whole story. Israel had to go in to protect the Druze, after Israeli Druze crossed the border to go to defense of their Syrian Druze brothers.  She writes, “IDF troops identified dozens of suspects attempting to infiltrate Israeli territory from the area of Hader in Syria. IDF and Israeli Border Police forces are operating to prevent the infiltration and disperse the gathering. Simultaneously, several Israeli civilians crossed the border fence into Syrian territory in the area of Majdal Shams. IDF troops are currently operating to safely return the civilians who crossed the border. The IDF emphasizes that this is a serious incident constituting a criminal offense and endangers the public and IDF troops. The troops continue to monitor developments and remain prepared both in defense and offense for various scenarios.
IDF: Following last night’s series of strikes against Syrian regime forces, the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, instructed the reinforcement of intelligence gathering means, strike capabilities, as well as the redeployment of troops to the Northern Command in order to accelerate the pace of strikes and halt the attacks against the Druze community in Syria. The IDF is committed to the deep alliance with the Druze community and is therefore conducting strikes against military targets throughout Syria to defend them in the as-Suwayda region, Jabal al-Druze, and wherever necessary. The 210th Division’s sector will be reinforced with additional troops along the border area and at outposts within the security zone. The uncontrolled crossing of the border into Syria endangers both the Druze community and our soldiers, and must be stopped immediately.
IDF: The IDF Continues to Strike Military Targets of the Syrian Regime in Southern Syria | The IDF, guided by IDF intelligence, continues to strike military targets belonging to the Syrian regime in southern Syria. In recent hours, several armored vehicles loaded with heavy machine guns and weapons that were on the way to the As Suwayda area in southern Syria were struck. Additionally, firing posts, weapons storage facilities, and additional Syrian regime military targets in southern Syria were struck.
The IDF continues to monitor developments and the regime's actions against Druze civilians in southern Syria.
In Gaza: Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: "We will ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to the  State of Israel for generations to come. . . . We will continue striking terrorists relentlessly until the defeat and dismantlement of Hamas.
On another day Sally asks for prayers about Replacement Theology and the rise of anti-Semitism. She writes: Israel ‘Replacement Theology’ Controversy Goes Mainstream | This whole issue is dear to my heart. Raised completely Jewish, where my grandparents founded 2 synagogues, and I attended shabbat services all my childhood, when I came to faith in college, I had to learn how to be a believer. My church did not understand the revelational importance of the relationship between God and my people, and slowly my Jewish identity was striped away. I had to learn to be a "Christian" instead of a "Messianic Believer in Yeshua". It was not until I received a revelation from God of who I am in Christ. (if I have lost you here, bear with me, I will be happy to better explain in a separate personal email between you and me).

Here also is an exceptional news article from June 8, 2025 from the Assemblies of God news publication.
Antisemitic Attacks Renew Concern Among Jewish Christians
Michael Calise, President of the AG National Jewish Fellowship, addresses the rise of antisemitism and how churches can respond.

Violent antisemitic attacks in Washington, D.C. and Boulder, Colorado are underscoring concerns about the rise of antisemitism throughout the U.S. Recent studies have shown alarming evidence of the increase in antisemitic rhetoric. Most Jewish young adults (83%) in the U.S. report to have experienced antisemitism on social media. Similarly, nine in ten report seeing an increase in antisemitism since 2023.

Michael Calise, president of the Assemblies of God National Jewish Fellowship, recently spoke with AG News about this disturbing trend—a trend that has directly impacted him. “This past week we received an antisemitic phone call and alerted law enforcement,” Calise says. “They are currently investigating this matter and trying to find the individual(s) involved in this. They are also increasing their patrol of our AG Messianic synagogue along with other synagogues here in New York.”

As a Messianic Jewish believer—a Jewish follower of Jesus—Calise finds himself at a unique cultural juxtaposition. “In Jewish communities, my beliefs about Yeshua [Hebrew for Jesus] are often met with opposition and rejections, as traditional Judaism does not recognize Jesus as the Messiah,” Calise explains. “In Christian circles, I often find myself explaining and sometimes even having to defend some Jewish customs and traditions that may seem unfamiliar to the Christian community, yet are heartfelt and meaningful expressions of my faith in Yeshua.” Calise is grateful that this special identity provides him “opportunity to foster dialogue and understanding in both communities.”
