 Two things are happening at once. While God is bringing His Church into a fuller spiritual maturity, the spiritual enemy is leading even many Christians into a worldwide trend of anti-Israel, anti-Jewish, anti-Zionist descent into bitter hatred.
     In the Exodus from Egypt, symbolic of God separating His people from slavery to sin, God through Moses told Pharaoh, the one who had enslaved God’s people in Egypt, in Exodus 8:23 “I will make a distinction between My people and your people.”  This distinction between God’s people and the people enslaved to the sin of hating those God loves is still being made today – this time including between Christians who hate Israel and the Jewish people and the Christians who love the same because they see God’s longing to restore and redeem “all Israel.”
     It is easy enough to see this distinction unfolding before our eyes. It is not just clueless celebrity talking heads who are morphing before our eyes into haters of Zion; but people we know personally, even Christians we know. Now they are ready to come out of the closet to tell us how they are the compassionate ones, and we are just blinded by being Zionists.
     One Facebook friend just regurgitated the latest Hamas propaganda being used to protest against Israel about how Israelis can’t be innocent when they are bombing buildings full of children. The man cannot see or hear of the lengths Israel goes to not to bomb innocent civilians, or how the terrorists often won’t let even children leave a building Israel has warned is going to be bombed. He sips from a cup of ignorance and readily believes the worst about Israel. He cannot see Israel through God’s eyes: and his ears cannot hear the facts because his heart is already hardened by the lies of the enemy.
     This is the reality of so many Christians today, much less those who have not even come to the LORD. We pray not only for Israel to see and be saved, but we must also pray for these Christians who have lost their way to God. I don’t know how God will judge those who call upon the name of the LORD in our day, while holding onto all the inaccuracies, lies, bad doctrines, all the things that keep Christians from getting on the same mind/thoughts as God Himself regarding Israel. That is His business to judge, but as He is bringing Christians into “the fullness of the gentiles,” I cannot imagine how one can be made spiritually “full” and still regard Israel and the Jews as evil, or a lost cause for the purposes of God.
     It has troubled me for a long time that there can be Christians so far removed from God’s heart for Israel and for the salvation of all Israel. Now in the midst of the worldwide rise in AntiSemitism – in great part an increase directly tied to the spread of Islamism throughout the world – I see God’s remedy for that is in our heeding His call to us to press into our spiritual maturity.
     As Christians, this point over what we believe about the Jewish people and Israel is becoming the dividing line I always believed it would become. Like God said in the Exodus, He was making a distinction between His people and the people under the evil ruler’s power.
     Receiving God’s love and will for Israel is no longer just another “truth” from the Word of God – one that we don’t need to place priority on. Just seeing it is not good enough, we must enter into God’s plans for the fulfillment — for our own spiritual fullness and for the fulfillment of God’s plan to make the Church and Israel of the Messiah “one new man” in Him.
     We are going to have to pray for the Christians who do not see these things, to see, as well as for the Israeli ministries.
     In a Q&A session a couple of years ago I asked the Israeli ministry leaders on the platform that when they pray for Christians, what is it they pray for?  I have never seen that many ministry leaders so speechless. Finally one of them spoke up and said something along the lines that they pray Christians would see them like God sees them.
     That is exactly the prayer that Israeli ministries must pray over the Church, for our eyes to finally open to the reality of what God is doing between us, Jew and Gentile in the faith. We Christians need not only to pray, but to be drawn into becoming the support system we are called to be as spiritual family. It is the Israeli Ministries who are taking the salvation message to all Israel. . . not the traditional rabbis so many Christians support financially instead. They fund the enemies of the Gospel rather than the witnesses of the Gospel. And many Christians are so stuck on the idea that they have to be the one to engage unsaved Jews in order to make then “jealous” of our faith in Jesus, that they fail to give anything but money to the rabbinic projects they support and willingly never share the Good News with them. Israel’s Messianic Jews share their faith, and it is credible to those they reach out to help. They can do what we from the outside can never do – and example of this is in the first report from the Katzir (Harvest) Passover Youth Camp.
     In Romans 11:25-30 the Apostle to the Gentiles wrote to Christians: 
     25 I want you to UNDERSTAND THIS MYSTERY, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the fullness of Gentiles comes. 26 AND SO* SHALL ALL ISRAEL BE SAVED. As the Scriptures say, “The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness. 27 And this is my covenant with them, when I will take away their sins.”
     28 Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. YET THEY ARE STILL the people He loves because He chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 29 For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.
     30 Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead. 31 Now they are the rebels, and God’s mercy has come to you SO THAT THEY TOO WILL SHARE IN God’s mercy. 32 For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone.

     * Let me explain verse 25-26 "the fullness of the Gentiles" is not talking about some set number of Gentiles that God has set as His goal! The fullness of the Gentiles is about a spiritual maturity that God is leading 'whosoever will' enter into that level of maturity that realizes it is Christians who are mature enough not to be jealous of Israel, but to recognize God wants to use us to bring "all Israel" to faith in Israel's Messiah, Yeshua/Jesus.
     When verse 26 says, "and so" it is the same as saying, "and by this means" all Israel shall be saved. What means? By the means of Christians who recognize God is going to use our Christian prayers and our practical assistance of the Messianic believers in Israel who are bringing the Good News of Yeshua, that He really is Israel’s Messiah - the healer, the comforter, the provider, the deliverer, the CAPTAIN of the LORD' ARMIES in battle - everything we need in this life.
     A great many Christians still cannot hear this message. It is beyond their clogged up eyes and ears, and hardened hearts - exactly the spiritual condition of Israel when God set Israel aside for a season to open salvation to non-Jews too. And now, as Paul explains to ALL CHRISTIANS it is our time to recognize the mercy of God in this instead of thinking God just fed up with the Jews and booted them from an eternal destiny with Him.
     Let's get over ourselves, how about it? Time to grow up into the spiritual maturity God has set before us now. We can step in now, or we can be the ones who stand against what God is doing for ALL HIS PEOPLE, both Jew and Gentile, made one in Yeshua, as a husband and wife are made one in God's eyes.
     This is what those who refuse to see Israel as God does are throwing away. In one of the first recorded messages of Jesus, He said, "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy."

Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

A great report from Fields of Wheat’s Eitan Shishkoff on the Passover youth camp called Katzir, which means “Harvest”. This is a summer camp with a distinct purpose to equip Israeli young people for the spiritual harvest in Israel. Many believe it will be the younger generations in the forefront as Israel’s spiritual harvest continues to increase. To be sure it has begun already, but these young people with Hebrew as their first language are going to see far more come to faith than their parents and grandparents have. As an example of the quality of this camp, the volunteer counselors are almost always people who attended at teens themselves. Eitan tells the story of watching one such counselor, by the name of Ruth who after getting her Master’s degree as a registered nurse, came back to influence the young teens as she had been as a teen. In her testimony at the camp, Ruth said, “In 2014 I came to the Katzir camp. I saw a fire inside my counselor. I wanted what she had!” Eitan reports that you could hear a pin drop as the camp focused on all she had to tell them. He writes, “Teens need real-life examples. And they thrive on honesty and transparency. The youth in our camps come from believing homes, but many have not fully surrendered their lives to Yeshua. Over the four days we had together, 8 young people gave their hearts to the Lord for the first time. We are praising God for the grace extended to them.”
     This is what is going on in Israel among the body of the LORD, they are making the time count even in the midst of on-going war and all the sorrows and traumas that go with that. Eitan writes, “thank you for praying and for giving—so that the youth of this nation can be equipped to draw their generation to the Way, the Truth, and the Life of the Lamb who was slain. . . . We will continue, by God’s grace and with your caring, continued participation.” At this writing the Katzir Camps for 2025 has raised 83% - $149,928 of the $180,000 goal. Giving

Cookie Schwaeber-Issan wrote an informative piece on How the media fuels antisemitism that you can read in full on AllIsraelNews.com. Cookie writes, "....One case in point would be the recent “60 Minutes” segment, hosted by veteran reporter Leslie Stahl, who traveled to Israel to interview former hostages Yarden Bibas, Tal Shoham and Keith and Aviva Siegel…. It's not easy to portray cold-blooded murderers as being on the same level as the victims who were forcibly taken from their homes and brought to the dark, underground tunnels of Gaza against their will. But somehow, Stahl managed to attempt it while asking Keith Siegel about his personal experience of being denied food. She sheepishly asks, “Do you think they starved you or they just didn’t have any food?” To which Siegel replies, “No, I think they starved me.”
     “How is it possible that a seasoned journalist, such as Stahl, would not have read or been aware of the myriads of reports, stating that Hamas packed their warehouses to the brim with stolen food and goods which they illegally seized from the thousands of truckloads of humanitarian aid constantly flooding into Gaza? …. It is this kind of disingenuous framing, of an ongoing war, lacking the important and relevant reasons, justifications and full context of why we continue to fight a war, foisted upon us, which brutally and savagely murdering our citizens while kidnapping and holding others under the most inhumane and abominable conditions known to man.”
     DONNA: As I am watching conservative media exploding in anti-Semitic views on X, and many pro-Israel Christians conservatives deny their media heroes are speaking anti-Semitism, I believe this is an issue that must be countered and challenged. We cannot let it go.

Leon Mazin makes a great point in his opening statement: “Thank you for your prayers, support and letters of encouragement. Sometimes we feel like our “legs are buckling” (after all, you don’t believe that a believer should always be a hero…) and an encouraging letter or a word of support comes from you and the world around becomes more colorful and joyous.” Leaders are people too. They shouldn’t be afraid to be real with us.
    In speaking of a family trip to Canada where they have relatives, Leon wrote about how his younger children liked the new experience of snow. For himself, born in the former Soviet Union, “snow is not a novelty for me. From 1987 to 1989 I was drafted into the Soviet Army and served in Siberia…. I do not have much nostalgia for snow. But it is tied with the testimony of my faith, with how the Holy Spirit filled me in particularly unfavorable conditions when I was a new believer in an atheistic army and in a country with enduring anti-religious propaganda…. In December 1988 we spent many weeks of tactical exercises living in a tent in the terrible conditions of the Siberian winter close to the Chinese border. Afterwards we were taken back to our base very late at night. I remember going to bed completely exhausted and broken in the barracks where more than 100 people were sleeping. Suddenly I started praying loudly in tongues. My neighbors asked me: “Who are you talking to?” But thank God they were just like me tired and fell asleep very quickly. And as for me, I had a dialogue with the Heavens that winter night!  The Book of Acts 1:8 says: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
     DONNA: This is the preparation God had for Leon probably before he ever thought about going to Israel or of becoming one of those set apart for leading others to faith in Israel. Leon had other things to write about, but I was particularly touched by hearing this personal memory from his testimony in the LORD.  Sally Shiff from the HaMaayan congregation writes, “When I was in the states, I was taken aback by those who are not "anti-Jewish" just "anti-Israel", even my fellow Jews.  This is another form of Antisemitism. In order to fully understand this front that 1 of the 7 fronts on this war, I am including an excellent discussion of definitions, and how it impacts all of us.  This front of the war is insidious, and if not checked could result in another holocaust like WWII.  "Going on the offensive against Jew-hatred (w/Brooke Goldstein) | The Quad"  
     A Passover story and miracle to start off, and the story is near and dear to my heart: Dog abducted from murdered hostage’s family found by troops in Gaza. Reservist says Billy joined him for Passover Seder in Israel, then was taken to vet and identified via microchip as belonging to Rachel Dancyg, the divorcee of Alex Dancyg. This little dog, Billie … was in Gaza, responded to the Hebrew that the IDF was speaking, and now will return to his family. Sadly, he lost his "dad" on that horrific day, but will return to the safety of his home. (Watch the video on Facebook of the return of the dog to the mother whose son was killed.) 

Jennifer Guetta of Plant Hope Israel writes of “2 amazing events that took place in Israel this week during the Passover-Resurrection week. God is moving among His people!” The first was a “Prophetic Last Supper” in the City of David with 14 disciples “above the Spring of Gihon, and the Melchizedek place, on the location where the Tabernacle of David stood.” The second Passover event was in their northern Galilee home in Poriya Ilit. Jennifer writes, “It was also exactly 10 years ago that the Lord called us to organize a Passover together with 400 believers in the Netherlands, including Israelis and Iranians. It was the same evening in 2015 that Yeshua revealed Himself to two Jewish men in their dreams!
She also writes, “Three years ago the Lord gave me a word for passover and the coming time. Now He has put it on my heart to share it with you:  “The world is about to explode. But you are here to announce my victory. I am coming soon to save my people. Tell them not to fear. My light is far greater than the darkness. I will bring my people home into my kingdom. A spiritual exodus does not go without strife. But my miracles will open the way for deliverance. I will bring hope to my people. I will set them free and they will be in awe of the King of Glory. 
     “I will open the gates and set the captives free, topple strongholds, burn bridges of evil, cut the cords of the enemy and bonds asunder. The enemy will flee and hearts will open. They will not resist anymore.  MY GLORY WILL SWEEP THEM OFF THEIR FEET. Decree my Glory, For this is the time.”
     The Lord also said: "There is hope. God is real and the Messiah already paid the victory. The spiritual exodus has started. The greatest exodus ever. This will cause intense physical and spiritual collisions. But God will rescue his people with great signs and wonders and lead them out of the darkness into the light. Out of which God will bring forth a new hope for the children of Israel and the world.”  God says: Do not fear and is calling out to His people:  “Come my children come. Follow me through the Red Sea. Rania Sayegh, the Christian Arab prophetic intercessor at Hope (House of Prayer & Exploits) in Nazareth writes of A Prophetic Call to Breakthrough & Encounter, during the “12 days leading into and through Passover are a dedicated time to press in for restoration and a fresh revelation of God’s character.” Read Full Article. Ronit Bender, our friend in Isfiya in northern Israel writes of visiting a couple she has long expressed her faith to, joining them for a Passover sedar in their home. She writes that they are in the 80’s and have as yet to come to faith. Pray for the couple, B&G, and their son N, who has come to faith, but is undiscipled. Ronit also writes of an elderly Ukrainian woman who was searching the trash bins for food and at the Lord’s prompting Ronit was able to bless her with cash twice. Another person she was able to bless: “I felt prompted by the Lord to go to a specific shop where my friend I works. While there, she told me about her son being in jail, the boy is a believer like her. In that moment, the Lord revealed why He had sent me there: to give a large sum of money.  Upon receiving it, she wept, telling me this was the exact sum that she needed to give the lawyer defending her son and only that morning she told the Lord that He is her husband, so she relies on Him in all things. Thank you again for enabling me to be generous and help people as the Lord directs. He knows the needs.”
     There are many in deep poverty and need in Israel. This is on the heart of the Israeli ministries large or like Ronit, a person who just lives her life and shares with those the LORD puts in her path. 

Orna Grinman writes on her blog, Can We Feast our Freedom?  You may not understand that, I didn’t; but it has to do with the Feast of Passover, and what can a people do who are embroiled in a fearful war against brutal enemies and the reality of sorrows of wars? She writes about Daniel Weiss a survivor of October 7^th, whose own parents did not survive the assault on their home. “Daniel is a musician and artist. He became a well-known figure thanks to his story and his powerful performances. In this rendition of “Let My People Go!” he is one of the soloists (standing 3rd from right and crying out loud at the end for his friends and relatives to be released from the dark tunnels of Gaza). Tikkun Global sends Betty Intrater’s Middle East Prayer Update.  Betty writes, “Halfway into the Passover holiday ‘Let my people go’ has never felt so real.” Read in full at the link above, but here is a summary: “Division within the Israeli public has reached alarming proportions, with intense and vocal opposition to the government at almost every level. Protests have become a weekly event.
     “Please pray: • For all the hostages to be released • For a complete end to the war with complete destruction of Hamas • For Lebanon to be under full control of its own government without Hezbollah • For the downfall of Turkey’s president Erdogan • For the US not to whitewash the need to destroy Iranian nuclear infrastructure  • For healing within our nation”

For Out of Zion ministries of David & Josie Silver, their son Stefan writes an excellent piece on God’s Divine Distinction | From Egypt’s Plagues to the Final Judgment | by Stefan Silver | Exodus 8:23 “Thus I will put a division between my people and your people”| 

As Passover draws near (next Saturday evening), we look back to one of the most profound stories found in scripture – Israel’s exodus from Egypt. The book of Exodus is one of the most powerful demonstrations of God’s sovereignty, justice, and redemption. In the midst of the ten plagues, a striking and unexpected theme emerges: God makes a clear distinction between His chosen people, Israel, and the Egyptians. Nowhere is this more evident than in Exodus 8:22-23, where the Lord declares: “But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where My people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth. Thus, I will put a division between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall happen.” (Exodus 8:22-23)
     This passage is important because it reveals God's active role in separating Israel from the judgments He unleashed upon Egypt. While the plagues ravaged the land, Goshen—the region where the Israelites lived—remained untouched. This divine differentiation wasn’t just an act of mercy; it was a statement of identity. Israel was His chosen people, and He would protect them even while judging the nation that oppressed them.
     The Hebrew word for “distinction” in Exodus 8:23 is p'dut, meaning “redemption” or “deliverance.” It conveys not just separation but an act of salvation, setting apart one group for preservation. God’s distinction is not unjust favoritism but a sovereign act of setting apart His people for His divine purposes. In the midst of the plagues, an unexpected theme emerges: A clear distinction is made between Israel and Egypt
     The Distinction in Egypt | From the fourth plague onward, the distinction between Israel and Egypt became increasingly evident. The flies that tormented the Egyptians did not infest Goshen (Exodus 8:22). The deadly pestilence that struck Egypt’s livestock left Israel’s herds unharmed (Exodus 9:4). The devastating hail spared Goshen (Exodus 9:26). The impenetrable darkness covered Egypt for three days, yet the Israelites had light in their dwellings (Exodus 10:23). And ultimately, the most sobering differentiation came with the death of the firstborn—Israel was given the means of escape through the blood of the Passover lamb (Exodus 12:13).
     God was making a statement: He had a covenant with his people Israel who would be preserved and delivered, while Egypt did not and would suffer divine judgment.
     The Continuing Distinction: Israel as the Epicenter | This principle of divine distinction didn’t end in the book of Exodus. Throughout history, God has continued to preserve Israel despite insurmountable odds. Whether it was the survival of the Jewish people through thousands of years in exile, through the dark ages, the inquisition, the pogroms and the Holocaust, through the miraculous rebirth of the modern state of Israel in 1948 against all odds and until this very day, God’s hand remains evident.
     Today, Israel stands as the focal point of world events. The Middle East is the epicenter of global tectonic changes, and at the heart of it all is the land God promised to Abraham’s descendants. The nations rage, alliances shift, and global leaders deliberate over Israel’s future, but Scripture is clear: God’s promises to Israel remain unshaken.
     Just as in Egypt, God’s distinction remains. While the world plots and nations rise and fall, Israel stands as a testimony to the Lord’s faithfulness, those who bless Israel flourish and those who curse Israel wither away. The same God who shielded the children of Israel in Goshen continues to guard the nation of Israel today, setting the stage and preparing the way for the return of Messiah.  Once again, Israel stands as the Epicenter of tectonic global events that will culminate in the return of Messiah
     The Final Distinction | The book of Exodus foreshadows an even greater distinction to come—the separation of those who belong to God and those who reject Him when Messiah returns. Just as God made a distinction between Egypt and Israel, Yeshua will one day return to distinguish between those who are His and those who are not.
     Matthew 24:31-46 speaks of this final separation, where Jesus will gather His elect and judge the nations, separating the sheep from the goats. This will be the ultimate redemption for those who belong to Him and are grafted into His olive tree, while final judgment awaits those who are not.
     The Lord is still at work in the earth, and His hand remains upon His chosen people as He works all things together according to His plans and purposes, and for the good of all those who love Him. We are God’s fellow workers (1 Cor. 3:9) who eagerly await the day when He calls us and all who are His to enter the joy of the Master, forever sealing the great distinction of those who are His people, and those who are not. Here in Israel, we are rapidly approaching the Feast of Passover. This is always a time of joy and anticipation. The kids are out of school for two weeks and many families travel throughout the country as well as abroad. It is a holiday with family and friends spending time together in remembrance of how God led His people by His mighty power out of slavery in Egypt, passing through the Red Sea on dry ground as the Egyptian army was destroyed. 
     Families will gather together on Saturday evening, April 12 for a Passover Seder. This is a special meal which consists of prayers and songs and symbolic acts reminding us of the mercy and love of God in His deliverance of His people from bondage to freedom. This year Passover will be more somber in the shadow of the ongoing war in Israel. We will, as always, remember the miracle of God but we will also remember all the Israelis that were mercilessly slaughtered by Hamas as well as the hostages and soldiers whose lives are still in danger every day. Israel is a small country and everybody knows somebody that was directly impacted by the war.
    This year Passover will be a time to thank God for His Salvation but also to cry out and ask Him to heal this Land and once again to have mercy and eradicate the terrorist evil that surrounds us.
     As believers in Jesus, Passover is not just a holiday for Jews but also has great significance for the Body of Messiah all around the world. Just as the sacrificed lamb was to be without blemish and was slaughtered and its blood placed on the door frames so that the death Angel would pass over, Yeshua is the Lamb that was slain to free us from sin and bondage and death.
     In fact, the night that Jesus was betrayed, He was partaking of the Passover meal. “The life of the flesh is in the blood… for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.” (Leviticus 17:11) This is a clear type and picture of how the blood of the Passover lamb is a foreshadowing of the blood that Yeshua would shed on the cross for our eternal salvation.
     This is the message that we are broadcasting at Shelanu. We want Israelis to understand the connection between Passover and Yeshua, the true Lamb of God. Throughout the Passover Seder, there is much symbolism that portrays the life and death of Yeshua.
     Our heart is that the people of this nation will finally understand that they no longer need to wait for their Messiah because He has come. He died for their sins, defeating death so that once and for all they could be in a personal and intimate relationship with Him with the hope of eternal life burning brightly in each heart. 
     May we be reminded on this Passover holiday of God’s passionate desire that none would perish but that all would have everlasting life! Please pray that the hearts of the people of Israel would be softened and that the seeds that are planted daily thru Shelanu TV would grow and bear much fruit and so “All Israel shall be saved!”
     Here are testimonies from the month of March:
    A guy names S contacted us on our social media platforms, asking to receive the New Testament in Hebrew. We asked him for his address to send him the Book, but he asked to receive it ASAP, so he asked if he could come pick it up instead. It was a very rainy and cold day and to our surprise, he came to our coffee house in center Tel Aviv to pick up the Book that same day! Upon hearing that he was at the coffee house, one of our staff members ran out in the pouring rain to meet with him and talk to him about Yeshua. The Lord touched his heart, and he received Yeshua into his life that day! Praise God! We are so thankful to see how the Lord is working and manifesting His prophecies that ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED! We are thankful for each person who comes to the Lord! Pray for S, to build a strong foundation of faith and bless his walk with the Lord! Amen.
    A young man of Arab background living near Haifa has been deeply touched by the content on Shelanu TV. While he hasn’t shared whether he comes from a Christian or Muslim background, he expressed a strong desire to learn more about Yeshua after watching. We connected him with a local pastor affiliated with Shelanu TV, and they are now in contact. Our hope is that this relationship will lead him to grow in faith and connect with a local community. We thank God that our content is reaching hearts from all backgrounds in Israel—even in times of war and tension between Jews and Arabs.
    M, a young Arab man from near Tiberias, asked to discreetly meet with Hebrew speakers after being moved by our videos. Though from a Christian background, he had drifted from faith and now feels a renewed desire to grow spiritually. It's a miracle to see how Shelanu's content bridges divides that politics cannot. Both Jews and Arabs are being drawn together through teachings about Yeshua. Let’s pray for M and for the continued power of the Gospel to unite.
    We've been offering free New Testaments through our social media, challenging the widespread stigma surrounding this sacred book. Many in Israel have been taught misconceptions—stories and warnings that aren't true. But through our outreach, people are responding and becoming curious.
     One of our presenters, Reu’ven Doron, recently released a video connecting New Testament promises to Hebrew Scriptures—particularly Jeremiah 31. This is helping Israelis see that the New Testament is not a foreign book, but a Jewish one—written by Jews, for Jews. We're seeing hearts open and minds change. Praise God!

Plant Hope Israel, Jennifer and Eliahu Guetta will be celebrating 2 Passovers this year (1 in Poriya Ilit & 1 in the City of David in Jerusalem, “It will be on Friday night, the 14th of Nisan, the night of the Last Supper, together with 12 disciples above the Melchizedek sacred place.” Jennifer writes of being saved and delivered from the “darkness of Kabbalah” 12 years ago, then “In 2015 we had a prophetic Passover with 400 Israelis, Iranians, and Christians from all kinds of backgrounds in the Netherlands (see video). Together we celebrated our freedom under a blood-red moon. But it was also the same night that Obama signed the terrible peace deal with Iran, which has now led to Iran’s building up of its nuclear arsenal. That night, 3 April 2015, the Lord brought Israelis and Iranians together to bless one another and to prophesy true peace that one day would come through Yeshua. It was God's prophetic act for such a time as this.”  On the Israel-Iran escalation Jennifer writes, “But whatever happens in the coming months God has a plan and He already secured the peace that will come afterwards. We are not afraid of Goliath. We put our trust in the Lord God of Israel. He saved us out of Egypt! He saved us from Iran 2 x already last year... and He will save us again. But He does ask us to pray, so please also pray for the situation here between Israel and Iran.”

Sally Shiff of the Kfar Saba congregation HaMaayan, the Wellspring, writes about Netanyahu’s speech before his flight back to Israel which he described as very warm and the 2^nd visit “my friend” President Trump had extended to him in 2 months. The Israeli PM went on to address the big issue: “First of all - Iran. We agree that Iran will not have nuclear weapons. This can be done in an agreement, but only if this agreement is a Libya-style agreement; that we go in, blow up the facilities, dismantle all the equipment, under American supervision and American execution - that is good. A second option, that it will not happen. They will simply drag out the talks, and then the option is military. Everyone understands that. We discussed that at length.” [President Trump has since said if Iran is attacked, Israel will lead.] The two leaders also talked about eliminating Hamas, rescuing all hostages, potential to relocate Gazans to another country, stopping Turkey from establishing military bases in Syria, and Israel’s willingness to reduce their trade deficit with the USA to zero.  This was quite an informative update on the current US-Israel relations and beyond, as Sally continues to send out daily updates since the Gaza war started in Oct 2023.

Stefan Silver writing for his parents David & Josie’s Out of Zion Ministries wrote about how significant the difference in the Gregorian solar-based calendar which most of the modern world operates on and the Biblical lunar-based calendar system is. The biblical new year is also significant in difference from the new year that most Jews observe in the 7^th month of Tishrei, a tradition most likely that formed during the Babylonian exile. Why is this important?  #1 the lunar system calendar keeps the appointed Feasts in synchronization with the prophetic seasons of God: “Passover (Pesach), Shavuot (Pentecost), and Sukkot (Tabernacles), remain in their proper seasons. This distinction is not trivial.” The new year as God set is “starts in the spring, two weeks before Passover. Understanding this change in season is important for believers who seek to know God’s appointed times and how they align with current and future global events. "Of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.." (1 Chronicles 12:32)
     When Stefan wrote that "Jesus (Yeshua) rebuked the religious leaders of His day for not discerning the signs of the times:" (MT 16:13) IT JUMPED OUT AT ME: HOW MUCH MORE would He now rebuke Christians who have no inkling of the importance or significance of the biblical feasts that are for signs and seasons to us!!  I have known for a long time that the biblical feasts are a prophetic picture of God's plan of redemption of Israel - ultimately their salvation is coming. It is not just a nice thing for a Christian to know, it is an IMPERATIVE for a Christian to know. As Yeshua rebuked the Jewish people "You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times." To us He would say, You know how to interpret the signs of spiritual warfare in heavens all the around the world, but you can't interpret the signs of what God is doing in His chosen season! The biblical new year has just marked a new season in the plans of God and Passover draws near for the Jews, it is something we want to understand and cooperate with God for the fulness of all.

From Arni & Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way writes that regarding Passover “we’d do well to view it in the context of Israel’s greater journey and consider what God might be speaking to us today…. From the beginning God has sought a dwelling place in and among men…. For the sake of the bigger picture, and as a prophetic foreshadowing for us today, it is important to consider what determined the timing of the Exodus. We read in Exodus 2:24, “So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and with Jacob.”  …. Not only were the Israelites to be His dwelling place individually and corporately, but they were also called to prepare a place for Him on the earth in the midst of the nations.
     Israel is a prophetic nation. What they experienced in the natural realm, the One-New-Man Israel of God will experience in the spiritual realm…even as there is an earthly Jerusalem and a heavenly one. Today, surely no less than in former days, though Israel has possessed the Land, it has not become, nor is it prepared it to be, a dwelling place for the Lord. It could be said that the ways of Egypt -- ie. the world -- remain entrenched in the heart. How much is this a prophetic picture for the Body of Messiah today? If so, we suggest that beyond remembering Israel’s coming out of bondage, we are in yet awaiting the full manifestation of what Yeshua did for us on the Cross. Though His sacrifice opened the prison door, it remains for us to leave the old ways behind and enter into the calling for which Israel and all of mankind were created -- to be a dwelling place for God…. More than ever, we are impressed with the need to come out from our old ways and prepare a new wineskin, that the Lord may truly dwell and release His Spirit in our midst.

Reuven Doron writes on 4/6 “This is our one and only PRAYER REQUEST this week. We see and experience rising indications of exhaustion and deep fatigue showing up all around us, and we ask the intercessors who carry Israel in their hearts to pray for grace for the journey and strength to endure. The non-stop stress of war, imminent danger, grief, and sorrow is lowering the people’s immune systems. We see more sickness, struggling marriages, and financial troubles around us than ever before.”
     In this same writing shares “Hebrew Gems | The Simplest Truth VIDEO with Reuven Doron | The Wearing Out of the Saints | Daniel’s dramatic visions address global events that will culminate this age and bring humanity to the very end of days. The scriptures quoted above point to the final conflict before God’s Kingdom presents itself as the only, everlasting, and all consuming dominion…. The word in chapter 7:25 which is translated “wear out” is - יְבַלֵּא (YE’VA’LEH) in the original text. It means to afflict, to wear out, to continuously harass and accuse until you give in and give up. Some of you know this enemy personally; others know him corporately. According to Daniel’s visions, the debilitating and exhausting impact of this psychological battle will typify the last days. Youval & Valerie Yanay lead the Revive Israel community at Yad Hasmonah. They write about our assignment from God to be “ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” This is what their community is set to do as they farm their land and sell their produce to the local community. People come to buy, hear about how they live and work, and minister in the name of Yeshua to the body in Israel discipling, and to the local community God draws to them. They write that a local council held a food festival and one of the newspapers featured a story about they, drawing many to their farm & market. “Next week, a group of about 30 young Israeli adults will be joining us to volunteer. They come from all walks of life, and we’ll have the chance to share with them about the Creator, the Messiah, and His grace. Please pray with us for this special opportunity—that God will guide us in both the logistics and the conversations we have with them. We pray that their time on the farm will be meaningful and that it will bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom!  Meanwhile, in our community gatherings, we’re continuing to refine our vision, and we truly feel covered in your prayers.”

Guy Cohen of the Harvest of Asher congregation talks about Faith and facing the “many Goliaths that try to intimidate us and cause us to be fearful.” As children of God, we are “the one who is the least facing the one who is powerful.” Also Guy reminds us that “God chooses the least to confound the wise of this world” so that “when we have an encounter with God and He lives in us, there is no authority on this earth that can overcome the calling on your life. . . .As we approach the Feast of Passover, at the beginning of Spring, there is a verse that I feel to share from Song of Solomon (Songs) 2:12. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. In Hebrew the translation is , “the buds are seen on the earth”. Here we understand it is the beginning of Spring. I feel to share this with you especially after the dark season the world is passing through. We remember that the Spring is within us and Yeshua is the one that blossoms in our heart. Whatever darkness or giants we are facing, the one who dwells in us is stronger than the one in the world. In Him all things are possible. As is written in Hebrews 11:1-3, We are called to walk in complete faith and trust in Him no matter what.

Beloved Kehila (Congregation),
   As the winds of war intensify around us, and the days ahead grow increasingly uncertain, we find ourselves at a crossroads of prophetic fulfillment, spiritual warfare, and national destiny. This is not the time to be passive. It is the hour to stand firm, to search our hearts, and to keep the feast—not with the old leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast… with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” —1 Corinthians 5:7–8
     The Searchlight of Elohim | It is prayer time. We cry out: “Search us, O Elohim, with the candle. Remove all that puffs up!” Leaven is not just yeast—it is sin in seed form. It is pride disguised as strength, corruption masked as culture. It inflates the ego and deflates the spirit. In this season of Pesach, we are called to clean our homes and more importantly, our hearts. “He will guard the feet of His faithful ones, but the wicked shall be cut off in darkness, for not by might shall a man prevail.” —1 Samuel 2:9
     The Winds Are Blowing | The media echoes what we already discern in the Spirit: the winds of war are blowing. Israel is on high alert. Some units have already received preliminary orders. Reserve divisions may be called up at any moment. We are not just facing strong gusts—we are approaching a hurricane as we stare down Iran and its proxies. Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and others—backed by ancient hatred—are aligning. But this is not just a physical war. It is a spiritual shaking, and the faithful must not be asleep.
     The Ongoing Mission of the Kehila | Even as others prepare for deployment, let us not forget: the mission of the Kehila continues. We must keep watch over the next generation. The interviews, the screenings, the training—they continue. We build while others battle. We pray while others march. We are the ecclesia, the Kehila, the called-out ones. And we stand not only for our borders—but for the Kingdom of Elohim.
     From Shadows to Full Day | Believers are being called out of shadows and into the full day. We cannot linger in half-truths or gray areas. We must climb the mountain of myrrh (sacrifice) and ascend the hill of frankincense (worship). Yeshua, our Messiah, has opened the way. | “But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.” —Proverbs 4:18 | “Until the day breaks and the shadows flee away, I will go my way to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of frankincense.” —Song of Songs 4:6
     The War Scroll and the Ecclesia | As we reflect on the War Scroll from Qumran, we are reminded: this is not just Israel against her enemies. It is the Sons of Light versus the Sons of Darkness. The Kehila is not passive—we are warriors, priests, and intercessors. We stand in the gap. We sound the shofar. We break the leavened altars. “The adversaries of YHWH shall be broken to pieces; against them He will thunder in heaven.” —1 Samuel 2:10
     Dragons in the Shadows | There is a dragon in the heavens, enraged because he knows his time is short (Revelation 12). He is stirring up nations, media, ideologies, and even religious institutions. But the Kehila stands. We are clothed in righteousness and carry the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah.
     Love Is the Ultimate | We cannot fight this battle in the flesh. We cannot wage war with bitterness or arrogance. The ultimate weapon remains ahavah—love. Not sentiment, but covenantal love. The kind of love that purifies, that lays down its life; that confronts sin in truth and restores in grace.
     A Nation Under Fire and Favor | Even as we face war, Israel is building. A new $1.4 billion border barrier with Jordan is underway. The minimum wage will increase on April 1, 2025, raising it to 6,247 NIS per month. These are signs that Elohim is still prospering His people, even in the fire.
     The Reality of the Deep State in Israel | Let us not be naïve. Just as there is a spiritual war, there are battles in the gates—in courts, in security services, in media, and in education. The “deep state” in Israel is a term often used to describe unelected power centers:  The Judiciary – Supreme Court and Attorney General seen as overriding elected authority. | Shabak and Mossad – powerful, but sometimes accused of suppressing dissent.| Senior Bureaucracy – officials who resist conservative or Torah-based reforms.| Media and Academia – shaping public thought, often opposing nationalist movements.| Legacy Political Networks – remnants of the secular elite from Israel’s founding.  Some say this undermines democracy. Others claim it preserves balance. But as believers, we discern that the real battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities that seek to keep Zion from her calling.
     What the Corinthians Dealt With—And So Do We | Our modern Kehila is not unlike the Corinthians: Divisions and factions – “I follow Paul,” “I follow Apollos.” | Immorality tolerated – sin excused in the name of grace. | Disorder in worship – gifts abused instead of used in love.| Denying resurrection power – walking in form, without fire. And yet, the message remains: Purge the leaven. Return to the fire. Let Messiah be our center.
     Final Cry: Strengthen Your People, King of Glory | As the full day approaches, and the leaven is burned away, let us lift this cry: "Strengthen Your people, O King of Glory!" Let the winds of war purify, not petrify. Let the fire refine, not consume. Let the Kehila arise with clean hands, pure hearts, and prophetic voices.
     We declare: We will keep the feast in sincerity and truth. We will live an unleavened life. We will walk the narrow path that shines brighter until the full day. We will not fear the dragon. We will love not our lives even unto death. And we will see the Lion of Yehudah, our Messiah Yeshua, return to Zion—not as a lamb, but as a conquering King. Favor. Favor. Favor. Let it be upon Israel. Let it be upon the Kehila. Let it be upon you. In the fire, In the wind, In the war, In the glory— May you be found faithful.

Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

This past week I happened upon an Arrows from Zion I post in early May 2014. It was confined to a short summary paragraph for each ministry and no cover story, making it much shorter. I realize the length of Arrows has grown and is daunting for some of you – that is why I make such use of bold and underline to make certain points so you can skim read if you have to. It is difficult for me to edit out what gives subscribers a real look at what is on the ministries’ hearts. Some of you might be happy with 10 bullet points with little explanation, but I guess that is just not who I compile Arrows from Zion for. I will try to keep it at half the length of the weekly summary. My apologies for when it is not, but you will never know who you are praying for with a bullet-points-only summary. ddiorio

A bit of a switch from the usual political-prophetic analysis that we have been seeing from Avner Boskey who pens and posts at their David’s Tent website. Avner has just started a series that I believe is very needed for Christians pursuing Jewish Roots. His introduction is A Messianic perspective on the Kabbalah. Avner writes that “Kabbaláh (also spelled Cabbala, Qabbalah) is a Hebrew word which means ‘something received’ – in this case, a received tradition passed on from generation to generation. The kabbalistic tradition is a mystical tradition within Judaism which claims to possess mystical truths about the nature of God, heavenly realities, perspectives on the origins of evil, and both a detailed angelology and demonology. Furthermore, this tradition claims to be based on supernatural revelation.” Avner noted that although some become fascinated with anything about Jewishness – I know I did in the early days of discovering Jews – Avner writes, “Not all that glitters is gold, and not all that is Jewish is necessarily praiseworthy.… Godly Jewishness must be faithful to the Apostles’ teaching and to all the Scriptures.”
     He also addresses the so-called “lost books of the Bible” giving great caution: “This literature has been recognized as not meeting the grade of Scripture regarding both its prophetic accuracy and its theological content. These books are classified as either apocryphal (outside the Jewish and Protestant canon), pseudepigraphal (some of these writers forged the names of biblical heroes as the false authors of their works) or sectarian (e.g., the Essene/Qumran/ Dead Sea scroll literature).  This excellent article can be read in full online.

Evan Levine of Hatikva writes, “Israel is weary. We’ve become accustomed to this new normal of endless waiting—waiting for news of hostages, for the political echelon to make impossible decisions, listening to the nations of the world lecture us on how we could be more virtuous in defeating terrorism, all the while trying to pick up the broken pieces of a society that has endured more than its fair share of trauma. When pain and suffering persist, threatening to overwhelm an individual or, in Israel’s case, a nation, compassion is an antidote. Compassion draws near and declares, “You are not alone. Your pain is my pain. Your future is my future.”
     HaTikva does humanitarian work reaching out with compassion in Israel with HaTikva Aid, HaTikva Dental and HaTikva Families. HaCarmel congregation in the place where Elijah called out the prophets of Baal write of their celebration of Purim with Pastor Dani Sayag delivering a message on a little emphasized scripture in Esther 9:22: “the Jews gave themselves rest from their enemies.” In Hebrew it is even clearer as it says, “the Jews rested from their enemies.”… Throughout the world, you’ll find people searching for a measure of peace and serenity…. But the true peace that is sought by so many can only be found in the Messiah, Yeshua…. In the midst of these terribly difficult times, the Lord is bringing seekers into our congregational meetings.  Please pray they would become true disciples of Yeshua and know His great love.
     They give prayer points: “Our hostages who remain in Gaza are suffering starvation, abuse and torture. As negotiations for their freedom seem to have broken down, their situation is even more critical. Please pray for their families who are dealing with unimaginable stress and fear. | Pray for our government leaders to have wisdom and to make right decisions. There is much internal unrest and disagreement over some recent government decisions. Our enemies rejoice when we are divided. We need His unity which brings the blessing (Psalm 133).| Pray for rest for our “weary and burdened” people that they may find true rest in Yeshua.”

STARTING TODAY  Prayers wanted for the national Passover Katzir (Harvest) Youth Camp! Eitan Shishkoff’s Fields of Wheat put this camp on and there will be 90 teens coming together for a REAL spiritual camp designed to equip Messianic young people for the spiritual harvest in Israel. The theme of this camp is also the central message of the Passover story “FREE!” Eitan writes, “These young men and women are poised for a central role in making Yeshua known to His original flock—Israel. “My servant David will be king over them and there will be one shepherd for them all” Ezekiel 37:24 “We long for our young people to be set free from every sin, all despair, every bondage, all confusion. And we know that this glorious freedom comes only through faith in the blood of The Lamb, Yeshua. This is why we are dedicated to equipping Israel’s young disciples. That they may be the messengers Paul speaks about. “How can they hear the good news without someone to tell them? And how can they tell them unless they are sent/prepared?”
     Please pray for them over this weekend, also the camp leaders, young adult volunteer counselors  and all involved with this great time of spiritual ministry, development and also fun. Eitan also lets us know that “To date we have received 73% of our goal for our Katzir Youth Camps for 2025! ❤️ $132,715 of the $180,000 goal. Please give to help us equip our youth.”

Reuven Doron writes about the missiles that have been sending he and Mary Lou, along with his children and grandchildren running for the bomb shelter that serves as his home office when not protecting his family from missiles. When they hear the warning, they only have 90 seconds to get into the secure bomb shelter. He says they are grateful because many Israelis have no bomb shelter in their home to run too. He writes about how his grandchildren for “the first time our grandchildren went through the protocol of rushing to take shelter away from home and from their immediate family. The telling of their adventures when they returned home was both encouraging and revealing. “A new generation is growing up in Israel these days. This generation on the one hand is keenly awakened to the reality that peace with our Muslim Jihadi driven neighbors is impossible at this point. On the other hand, this generation is super engaged in the joys of living a full and productive life in this land at this time. This may be the generation that will receive Jesus as Lord.”

Avi Mizrachi of Dugit writes the religious persecution that has had them evicted by their landlord. It is and urgent need they have to secure a new facility by mid-May for our ministries—our national television and media ministry, our local Messianic congregation, our evangelistic outreach ministries, our ministry headquarters, and our Prayer Tower—can continue proclaiming the Good News of Messiah without interruption. The need is urgent! We need your help today!
     Avi also asks help with the events for “Passover begins at sundown, Saturday, April 12th, and will conclude on April 20th (which is Easter Sunday), and this year Dugit Outreach Ministries will be hosting a special Passover Seder meal unlike any before! Despite the current challenges we are facing to purchase a new building for the ministry, we are still committed to sharing the love of Yeshua this Passover with as many as we can. We have invited over 200…. Messianic Jews, Arab Christians (some who will be experiencing a seder for the first time!), believers from many other backgrounds, and even a number of unbelievers!”  ALSO “ This year our Passover efforts at the Distribution Center are even more vital due to the recent tax increase that has made it exceedingly difficult for many families to afford food.” Please give as generously as you able today.

 Marianna Gol who leads a ministry to widows & orphans (single parents & their children) also has a Passover hike/camping trip. 35 kids and 15 adults that she would love prayer for. “Our hike this year is pretty close to Gaza. (written 3/25) If the situation doesn't change in the next couple of weeks, we may need to go to plan B. We are not entirely sure yet what this plan may be. Please pray for all the staff and volunteers to have grace and supernatural peace in all the uncertainty.  Thank you for partnering with us. | She announces they have started to cooperative in a new outreach in the Negev Ministries humanitarian aid distribution center. We are organizing celebration banquets for non-believing single mothers and their children. They held a Purim party for 43 non-believer single mothers & their kids. Please pray for great seeds to be planted in these new outreaches.

Reading the testimonies by volunteers who work at the Aviv Ministry in Tel Aviv, led by Dov Bikas, brought me to tears (again) this week sharing about the addicts they work so compassionately with on the ‘mean streets’ of poverty, addiction and different forms of abuse. This is end-of-line Israel for so many who fell into addictions and are now living I hell on earth. Sometimes it is not just druggie thrill seeking, sometimes is self-medicating from the fears, disappointment and tragedies of life. Volunteers from Messianic ministries all over Israel come to serve here – because this is where those gripped in such tragedies gravitate to live on the street. These truly are the “least of these, Yeshua’s brethren.”

The Voice/Word of God and the Supernatural | ALSO this co-authored article “He Always Loves Me” by Asher Intrater and David Ben Keshet | Plus the BOOK: The Cry by Patricia Juster as  Patty shares a prophetic intercessory cry that will corporately unite people with one voice-one cry.  

Last but not least, our friend Howard Bass in Beer Sheva at Yeshua’s Inheritance congregation. Howard writes, “With the Passover in Jerusalem, about 1476 years later, the Father demonstrated again His "greater" love to open the door of His house for any person everywhere to be in His family. The wall of separation is broken down between the Jewish chosen people and between all of the multitude of Gentiles for all who come to the Father through Jesus/Yeshua His beloved Son, our Redeemer and Savior and Lord.
“YHVH God is moving on, advancing His Kingdom plan "of expansion" until the Day of reckoning comes, when He will again separate out those who do not belong from those who, by grace and mercies, have entered in. Don't be led back to BC, or to a pre-Apostolic Council (Acts 15) confusion regarding God's calling for both Jews and Gentiles who have been saved in like manner.  We have all been called from our camps to go outside to the rejected and despised Messiah and Lord, identifying with Him and bearing His reproach, even as He bears the Father's reproach.”
     He dovetails that with “Last week, about 60 leaders from among the Jewish, Arab, and others believers in the Body in Israel came together at the Baptist Village for another SAYF (Sitting At Yeshua's Feet; pronounced 'safe') retreat. With all of the intensity of the stress from the war of past 1 1/2 years it was a very important and significant choice to participate together -- in worship, the Lord's Supper, in prayer, in fellowship, in testimonies -- believing that Jesus and His covenant with us -- and ours with one another -- is greater than the wars engulfing our peoples who still do not know nor believe that real peace is only found in Him, and expressed through Christ in us, the hope of glory.
