Doron sends this good word: "Wars and rumors of wars will keep
popping up and Israel shall remain central to a rising global flood of
irritation and anger. The intercessors must get used to it and learn to
keep serving the Lord by the leading of His Spirit in spite of it. We love
peace and pray for it while being fully aware that there will be no lasting
peace on earth UNTIL the Prince of Peace rules the planet from His throne in
Jerusalem. In fact, we would prefer to remain in this demanding and
sorrowful state of perpetual conflict with our biblical enemies, serving the
Lord under fire, since we believe that the coming peace will be the last
one before things turn dark."

Arni & Yonit Klein of Emmaus Way send: "Greetings from Uganda.
As it is for many at this time, life has become rather unpredictable.
Our original return flight for March 22nd was cancelled due to the security
situation. Our rebooking for April 6th was also cancelled.... Our airline
is presently accepting reservations beginning mid-month....Since we are
scheduled to be here again by May 15th for a retreat beginning on the 18th,
so we are waiting to see if it will work out to be reasonable for a trip
home between now and then. If not, our projected
one-month trip will end up being four. As you might imagine, this has
been a rather unique stretching exercise in
surrendering our plans and expectations to God’s sovereignty.
Thankfully our living situation is quite comfortable, and we are well taken
care of. The unexpected days here have provided opportunity for private
meetings with individuals and groups with questions and a desire to go deeper
into the heart of the message we’ve been given to impart….“a believing Major General in
the Ugandan army participated in the last retreat…the senior commander for
a number of national military departments.... He only returned to Uganda on the
second day and came straight from the airport. On the way the Holy Spirit
told him he was going for advanced studies. What an amazing word for the
Lord to have spoken! We had much opportunity to interact personally, and
he expressed the desire to spend some time visiting personally. He is deeply
spiritual with a perspective and understanding of roots and foundations…as one
would expect from a person of such position and responsibility. He shared of a time when they were in the
midst of a military conflict in which the Ugandan forces were unable to get the
upper hand. The Lord told him that the church needed to be brought in, as the
battle involved spiritual forces. They identified three demonic altars from
which this insurgent force was receiving its strength. When the believers
engaged to tear the altars down, the elusive enemy disappeared overnight. Concerning
Israel, the Lord told Him that Israel worshipped their technology and needed
the Presence of the Lord. So there he was at a series of meetings concerning
what the church can do to effect that end. Praise the Lord. . . .There
was much more. Email

Liaison for Kehilat
HaMaayan wrote on 4/8: ". . . .this
could be the last update for 2 weeks. Israel is still going after Lebanon
as Hezbollah is still going after the north. But if there is any indication
that the people of Israel are able to breathe without the immediate threat
of a red alert (even the 2 we had today after the ceasefire) was shown as my
friend and I went to an outdoor mall. It is the final day of Passover, a
holiday where there is no work. The mall was packed, I mean PACKED with
thousands of people shopping, eating and finally enjoying life without fear.
Joy, relief, and plenty of conversation filled the air. . . .These past 40 days were the most exhausting
for me since the first days of the Gaza war. . . .For the next 2
weeks....I choose to keep my nose in the Bible, and my fight within
prayer....the greater fight is in the spirit, and affects the natural....I
believe the beginning of the fight started
with the revival that happened in Iran a few years ago. And significantly
the ceasefire happened during Passover: LET MY PEOPLE GO! (btw, for you
historians, it is the 70th anniversary of the movie "The Ten
Commandments"). I am cautiously optimistic. I have learned over the years that the enemy
breaks ceasefires. This time, we, the US and the gulf states stand ready to
return at a moment's notice. Intercessors,
be at the same guard. Continue to pray for God's perfect will.”
The Revive Israel team led by Youval Yanay write,
“This past week felt like a turning point. Passover came to an end, and a
temporary ceasefire was declared. It was an unusual moment. On one hand,
there was a sense of quiet. On the other, we don’t really know what it means
yet or how long it will last. So we stay anchored in the Lord....Right now,
we are getting ready to begin the discipleship program. There are
quite a few participants coming, along with volunteers and our team, and we’re
about to step into these forty days together. What stands out most is
the hunger. These young Israelis are coming with a real desire for the
Word of God, and a willingness to step away from everything for a time to
draw closer to Yeshua. We feel the responsibility of that."
Eitan Shishkoff founder of Fields of Wheat (and Tents of Mercy congregation) relates the paradigm shift he experienced after be
saved in the 70’s Jesus movement to understanding God’s intention that he was
to preserve his Jewish identity within the faith in Jesus: “In
the spring of ‘75, my daily reading took me to the New Testament account of the
Last Supper. I read…Matthew 26:26-27. The
instant I finished those verses my eyes were opened. Suddenly I
understood that the Lord established what we call “communion” or “Messiah’s
Supper” during the biblical Passover meal. That meant that He and the
disciples were Jewish (Duh, Eitan!). And here’s a very personal part…it
meant that being born of a Jewish mother was part of my calling as a believer
in Jesus.
The implications were like
the ever larger ripples created by the proverbial stone thrown into a pond. Connie
and I began celebrating Passover with our children, The first step
was to link our lives to the annual cycle of biblical holidays — all of which
point to and are fulfilled in Yeshua. The next step was to hear God
calling us to move to Israel and serve Him here.
When
I discovered that the Last Supper was the Passover meal it changed my life,
restoring my Jewish heritage and bringing me to Israel in 1992. These 33 years of serving Yeshua in His homeland are the
direct result of that surprise.
Howard Bass of the Beer
Sheva Yeshua’s Inheritance
congregation had much to report after they were allowed to gather after 6 weeks
in live services, but this is the thing that leapt out at me to share with
intercessors: “I did another video, under 40 min, this one called "Until...". The living God has communicated to us to
share with us what He is about. This
is what He said about Abraham when He was going to judge Sodom and Gomorrah;
and what Yeshua said to His disciples as He was opening His heart to them. The Lord wants us to be understanding and
expectant, strengthening us with His Spirit for when the final sustained
thrust is called for to the glory of His Name. (Gen 18:16-19; Jn
15:1-17)
Ronit Bender, a lady from the Carmel congregation who
practices personal evangelism in her daily life writes, "I do
not think I have ever clung to the Lord as closely as I do now. I am not afraid
to die, as many of you would feel too, as we know what our final
destination is."To live is Christ,
and to die is gain" (Phil. 1:21). But what about those that do not believe? I
am surrounded by pre- believers, and I believe this is God's plan for my life
right now. Reaching out to the weary and fearful, planting hope and
the Love of God. . . .The other day at (her friend's) salon, a woman walked
in whom I had met 20 years ago when Tom and I had just returned to Israel. She
was so surprised to see the joy on my face while all around is fear and sadness.
Somewhere in the passing years, she had a stroke and almost lost her life. I
shared my testimony with her, and could see she was visibly touched. I do
not believe in pushing people as far as faith is concerned, I could see the
seed was planted and now, it is between them and God for faith to flourish.
I pray for more opportunities to reach this woman and others the Lord brings,
to see them coming into the Kingdom of God." [If
you don’t know, Ronit is a woman in her mid-70’s who is suffering from both
a serious heart condition and also knee – operations are out of the question
for both. She suffers a considerable amount of pain 24/7 – trusting God through
it all. Prayers for Ronit please.]
Return to Zion is the Haifa congregation led by Leon Mazin.
His team write: “Thursday, April 9, 2026 — 22 Nisan 5786 here in Israel. Passover
has just concluded in Israel, and we are now continuing into the 7th day of the
Omer. In this transition from the feast into the days that follow, we
are sharing a new letter from Pastor Leon—written out of these recent Passover
days here in Haifa. In this letter, Leon reflects on the strain of
living under sirens and missile fire, while also giving thanks for the children
and teenagers who found refuge, safety, and joy together in the congregation
during the holiday. It is a personal and sobering word, but also one marked by gratitude for God’s protection and care in the middle of a
difficult time. We believe it will help you pray for us with greater
understanding. READ: Passover
Under Fire, Hope in the Shelter"
From Avi
& Chaya Mizrachi of Dugit
Ministries they write, “"Here in Israel, resilience is part of our daily life.
Not wars, and not missiles, will stop us (though traffic might…lol). Through it
all, we stand firm in faith, knowing the Lord is beside us, and our spirits
will not be crushed. They ask prayers of protection over families and
communities across the country and for strength and endurance for those facing
challenges each day." | The
Mizrachi's also founded the Adonai Roi
congregation in Tel Aviv where daughter and son-in-law Nate and Sarah Silverman now
lead. The Mizrachi's have many beloved grandchildren, including the latest, a
third child, born to daughter Devora and Dror Boaz. The boy, who was named Aviv
Harel Boaz, his parents say was named "Aviv which means 'spring' or
'springtime,' symbolizing renewal, blossoming, growth, and hope. These are our
prayers not only for him, but for all the people of Israel in these days. His
middle name Harel means "Har"
(mountain) and "El" (God) — "the mountain of God".
Guy Cohen who leads Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco writes, “Last
week I visited the home of a member of the Harvest of Asher congregation, whose
house was damaged by a missile that struck nearby. I was in shock by the extent
of damage to his apartment and the surrounding area, including cars and other
buildings. I was also shaken by the realization of how only by the grace of God
had he survived; as I witnessed firsthand the reality of the situation.
Many families, including our
neighbors up the road, whose homes and property were damaged, are now facing
not only the devastation itself, but also the immediate need to provide for
basic necessities such as temporary housing, medical care, food, and
transportation. While the government institutions do provide compensation, the process takes time, and in the critical
first days and even weeks families are left to carry the burden on their
own.
From this place, we, the elders
of the Harvest of Asher congregation, through our non-profit organization, are stepping
forward in a new initiative, out of a deep commitment to support families
who have been affected during this time.
We are launching a project to
support families from the Western Galilee, both Jewish and Arab, who have been
affected by the war. Our goal is to provide families with initial
support of approximately 5,000 NIS (equivalent of $1,667.83 USD), offering
them breathing space and relief during this difficult time. This is a small
act, yet one that can make a meaningful difference.
We invite you to join us to help reach as
many families as possible who are in urgent need, and those who may face
these challenges in the coming days. We want to emphasize that no gift is
too small. Every contribution comes together as an expression of grace,
compassion, and the shared faith that we are called to stand with one another
in times of trial.
Beyond financial help, we seek to
send a clear message: you are not alone. We stand together as one, in faith
and in love. To be part of this initiative, please use this link. Kindly
note that your donation is intended for families affected during the war.
Awake Israel Ministries, Shlomy and
Miriam Abramov. Shlomy, who in his pre-faith younger years was one of
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s personal body guards, today is a minister
of the Gospel and does humanitarian aid in central Israel. Miriam wrote on
Facebook that Shlomy suffers from a painful slipped disk that he was healed of
15 years ago. It has come back and he needs to be healed again. Also pray for
severe leg pain from small vein syndrome. They have applied to get a car lift
that will the state may provide. The
small vein syndrome qualifies Shlomy for the lift and would open a way also to
allow taking handicapped persons on day trips as they already do for
non-handicapped people. Please pray that the lifter and installation will be
approved soon - also pray for the back and leg pain Shlomy is dealing
with.

David
& Josie Silver, Out of Zion Ministries, send this article
by son, Stefan Silver who is the pastor at Karem-El (God’s Vineyard).
The article is The
Promise that Withstands Generations, and it is also followed by points of
Day 39 (4/7) of David’s daily updates on the war actions. You can also join
Josie’s Weekly Prayer for Israel via Zoom. All
the above is located at this link.
Kerem-El, a daughter congregation
of the Carmel congregation, is led by
Stefan and Keren Silver. Like all of the Israeli congregations, during the
war they were not allowed to hold services in person, but met instead for Zoom
services. "After the ceasefire took affect last week, we’ve been able to
return to regular meetings, for now. However, this could change at any given
moment. We want to thank you for your continuing prayers and support for
Kerem-El during this difficult time." As they wrote, "life here in
the land has been disrupted for the past month. Virtually every family in
Israel is affected directly or indirectly, with reservists being called up and
having to leave their families to deal with the trauma of daily bombings.
Schools were closed and classes held online, which has proven to be extremely
difficult for the teachers and the children, and the parents as well. Jobs have
also been affected, with many businesses struggling to survive."
These
are prayer priorities over this congregation, and indeed many of the
congregations across Israel. Even with few deaths reported from the massive
missile and drone attacks all across Israel, there is life-changing damage all
over. Homes shattered, many wounded. Your prayers and financial support can
make a difference for those who are believers of Israel sharing the Gospel.

Part 2, in fun activities putting

Dov
and Olga Bikas and the Aviv Ministry team send this update
which you can read
online by linking to the PDF here. They also share “the second part of
the documentary film dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Aviv Ministry. It
is called "Invisible People."
This part is about those society chooses not to see – people living on the
streets, overlooked, ignored, and forgotten. Yet behind every
“invisible” life is a person longing not just for help, but for dignity, love,
and hope.
FYI: Those with addiction problems of all kinds all across Israel are drawn
to these streets in Tel Aviv when they reach a tipping point in their addiction
that smaller towns cannot support. These are the poorest and meanest streets,
filled with desperate addicted people and all sorts of crime. Yet believers
from the congregations all over Israel come to the Aviv Center to volunteer in
outreach an aid to the most hopeless of all people in Israel. This is ministry
that takes a special heart. You can donate to help them
minister “to the least of these My brethren” at this link.
Kobi
and Shani Ferguson, Maoz Israel Ministries write, “This war
was supposed to be about a better tomorrow for tens of millions of people. It
is about gutting a poisonous, cancerous evil and planting seeds for freedom of
worship in the heart of the Middle East.
We realize trying to understand
everything from a distance can be frustrating. We can only tell those who trust
us, our hope is that an incredible evil is being addressed before it reaches
our doorstep and yours. An evil that has been preparing tirelessly for decades
to crush freedoms we all hold dear.
In the Middle East, they understand
this. Which is why, in the craziest plot twist you could imagine, entities
historically hostile to Israel the West, are suddenly singing the praises of
the US and Israel. Arguably, it’s not because we’re that great - it's because
they’re that desperate. . . .Whether you think going to war was a wise decision
or not, it has created space for change. As such, we are preparing for the
moment Iran’s rebirth could open the door for the Gospel to be shouted from the
rooftops.

Jennifer Guetta of Plant Hope Israel is celebrating her
new book The JEZEBEL Deception on Amazon
with a price cut for the first month! The paperback,
usually priced at $14.95, is now only $11.95. EBOOKS, normally $9.45, are now
just $7.45.
FYI from Donna: Over the past several years
there has been a spread in the American Christian world of the idea that the
ancient false gods have come back and are the demons we wrestle against
spiritually in the current time. Not only are the ancient false gods believed by
Christians to be what we are waging spiritual warfare against, but many who
believe this also say, 'Jezebel was just a woman.'
I believe that is an unfortunate
distraction of the people of God and here is why. The book of Revelation does
not name ANY of the ancient false gods but it does name the spirit of Jezebel
as a MAJOR spiritual enemy the body faces in the last days.
Don't waste your time spiritually
warring against false gods when the major spiritual influence against the
Church is actually Jezebel and the Beast. Most of the ancient false gods were
worshipped for favor in things most people in the modern world do not even
consider as coming from worshipping or sacrificing to a crafted golden idol.
Our idols are movie, music, and sports stars, not golden statues that dictate
how much our farm fields yield, or to seek for our personal safety or favor to
prosper. The mindset of the modern world is not tied to the ancient
mythological gods and goddesses, but the demons spirit of Jezebel sure lives large
among us. Big time.
My best advice to you is to let the
Word of God speak to you about where the warfare lies, not those who send you
on a spiritual scavenger hunt for the false gods of ancient civilizations God
has already removed from influencing myths. Focus on the spirits that the Bible
names, and in John the Revelator, that dominant spiritual foe of the believers
in Jesus is the spirit of Jezebel.
Israeli Jennifer Guetta, a former
biblical archaeologist who was delivered by God from dabbling in the Kabbalah,
set free and saved. She has a biblical word to say about the spirit of Jezebel in
the day we live.
