The Season of Accusation

 The Season of Accusation

The current trend of Christian accusation against fellow Christians is an easily recognizable pattern with the foremost being Christians taking up the offense of the women's movement mindset of being abused by the patriarchy leading to the onslaught of sexual abuse accusations currently roiling the Church in America.

The second is a by-product of the accusations of rapes where no rapes occurred, and that is in the accusation of "prophetic manipulation" which has been used primarily as an excuse for women who have been involved in any level sexual activity - including sexual fantasies - related to their accusation of sexual abuse against a Christin leader.

"Prophetic manipulation" is the equivalent of "grooming" in non-religious sexual abuse accusations. It is used to weaponize normal behaviors making them more sinister than they actually are. Grooming is a valid term in CHILD sexual abuse, but is no excuse for any level of sexual temptations involving people of the age of consent.

The standard of judging these accusations is so loose, that almost anything can be chalked up to sexual abuse by a Christian leader and the accusation of "prophetic manipulation" can also be widely applied. It's now becoming a trend in non-sexual accusation, mostly applied to money. No one has to give any donation they don't want to, but for some reason asking for donations is OFTEN seen as a manipulation Christians use.

Many non-believers love to weigh in online on these particular accusations and parts of the Church even have developed a code name - NAR - that they use to discredit the Christian leaders who follow the New Testament injunction, "Do not despise prophecies." 1 Thessalonians 5:20

Is there sexual failure in church leadership? Yes, and even more in the pews.

Is there prophetic manipulation among those who prophesy? Yes, but whose responsibility is it not to be led around by your nose because of prophecy? It's your responsibility and if you do not exercise your own discernment, it will be your own failing when you do not reject all forms of prophetic manipulation.

As the Bible advises us, in 1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."

In the first year of my return to God I was in a Faith church where everybody prophesied to everybody. But one day as a man started prophesying to me, the voice of God in my head spoke louder telling me that I had been absorbing everything I heard like a sponge since I returned to faith, and I needed to stop doing that and starting testing what I was hearing or I would end up with all the errors of those who were speaking to me.

Some call me rebellious but I have taken that word to heart. God made my love His Word, directly from the pages of the Bible, and nothing anyone ever said should be made higher than His Word.

Manipulation comes from every direction in human life. Sometimes we have a mother or father that uses manipulation to dominate us, even as children. It makes us wary of authority figures when we realize this is what our relationship was like with a parent.

But it also does not destroy the natural love we have even for a manipulating mom or dad. This should be true of our spiritual moms and dads too. Manipulation is a technique human beings pick up to better control what happens to them in life. The primary purpose is to look out for themselves, often they live with a deep sense of having not being taken care of, so they must take care of themselves through manipulation of those around them.

That is not to excuse their sin, but to humanize it. We all sin - before and after salvation. Manipulating others can turn into much greater sin becoming habitual and allowing the controlling spirit of Jezebel full reign in us. This is a sin that we must first repent of, get deliverance from, and for the rest of our lives keep watch over ourselves not to fall back into that spirit-sin. Using sexuality is just one tool of the Jezebel spirit, who driving force is to control others. The book of Revelation mentions "Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess" specifically because the end times will be fraught with the sins of that controlling spirit. Anyone who can see in the Spirit of God should be able to recognize the flood of activity of the Jezebel spirit already a major spirit of this age.

Whether it is in family relationships or in the church, at some point as we spiritually mature, we each have take responsibility to recognize attempts to manipulate us and to reject it. That doesn't always mean burning down the House of God to do it. In fact, it is not spiritually mature at all to take that route!

One of the biblical examples I can think of is in 1 Kings 13 when a young prophet who was sent by God on a mission with very specific orders "‘You shall neither eat bread nor drink water nor return by the way that you came’”. That was going well UNTIL an old prophet comes out and LIES to the young prophet on his way home by saying, "“I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’”

At supper the old prophet suddenly received a true word from God: “This is what the Lord says: ‘You have defied the word of the Lord and have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you. You came back and ate bread and drank water in the place where he told you not to eat or drink. Therefore your body will not be buried in the tomb of your ancestors.”

When the young prophet left, “a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his body was thrown in the road, and the donkey stood beside it; the lion also stood beside the body.”

The old prophet who had lied buried the young man of God in his own grave and instructed his own sons to, upon his death, to bury him beside the young prophet. In doing these things, the old prophet showed his sincere belief that the prophet who died had been a true man of God—his prophecies against the idolaters of Israel would come true (1 Kings 13:31–32).

True prophets sometimes don't obey what God tells them, even after they deliver a hard word to a king, and sometimes even seasoned old prophets lie. The greatly revered prophet Moses is also an example. He struck the rock instead of speaking to it as commanded. His consequence was not going into the Promised Land, although Moses surely ascended into Heaven at death.

We are ALL RESPONSIBILE for what God speaks to us. There is no "entitlement" for the young prophet to say, the OLD prophet lied to me. And even the old prophet who lied to the younger prophet recognized that the younger's failure to obey the word of God to him, did NOT MAKE the young man A FALSE prophet.

Why did the older prophet lie to the younger? Clearly he did not intend to cause the death of the young prophet, but he did not take seriously the parameters that God had set out for the younger prophet to follow.

Both the donkey and the lion stood by the young prophet's dead body - the donkey as a witness to the stubbornness of the king who would reject the young prophet's prophecy and the lion as a witness to the old prophet who lied and caused the death of the younger prophet - whose death potentially impacted the king not to pay attention to the young man's prophetic warning.

The old prophet recognized that because the LORD allowed the lion to kill the young prophet on his wayward way home, that the word of the Lord to the young prophet was true. That is the reason the old prophet told his own sons that when he died he should be buried next to the young prophet as a sign that the younger had truly been a prophet of God.

What does all this have to do with the accusations against the men of God in our time? A lot.

First the season of accusations come out of the secular mindset of entitlement and their bogus attempt to establish justice apart from the accountability of ourselves before God. This entitlement has infantilized women and young people. Where no personal responsibility is expected, there entitlement stands to accuse others of our own failures to test the spirits and not blame others for the failures we take part in with others.

I did a lot more research this morning on Grok about who is talking about "prophetic manipulation," who is accused of it, what is "prophetic witchcraft" and other questions I had about it. The one thing lacking that I saw is what I wrote about today. And I hope you are paying attention out there, because like someone told me recently, "I tell my kids, 'when you stand before God, mama won't be standing beside you.' Which is a great way to express how we are ALL responsible for our own stuff before God. There is no "entitlement" excuses that works with our Heavenly Father.

Arrows 2025 Dec 19 What Do You See?

This will be the last Arrows from Zion for the year
Next issue will arrive January 9, 2026

What do You See?
Seeing beyond the natural
to God’s purpose is crucial for faith
If we are only judging by what our eyes can readily see, it would be overwhelmingly discouraging and disturbing to us who can clearly see that the darkness of this world is increasing by leaps and bounds. But we do not have to have natural eyesight only because we have been given the Holy Spirit and we can – if we choose – look through the eyes of our faith at what God’s Word tells us lies ahead. He has not left us. The babe in the manger became a God-man so when He laid down His life in sacrifice us who do believe, the Holy Spirit could work in us to transform us into the same God-man pattern He left for us

Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

In our first ministry email Carolyn Hyde of Heart of G-d ministries writes about a Prophetic Artists Journey recently when “we did a one day PAJ in Solomon's Quarry and on the Mount of Olives with the Eastern Gate in sight. As we moved into prophetic acts, all that we needed was supernaturally provided, such as an ancient altar as we declared Romans 12:1-2; a fox appeared while proclaiming no weapon against Jerusalem would prosper; a winnowing fork as we asked for our enemies to become like chaff and more….we moved together like a well-rehearsed symphony. In reality, we never know what we're doing! But as we listen, Adonai speaks and we move and have our being and take Communion in Him.
Later that day Hooman, one of my spiritual sons, born a muslim in Tehran and now a Christian whose murals are fueling the women-led revolution in Iran, was led to the Eastern Gate to pray for clarity and healing. When he saw a young man sitting on a muslim tomb he boldly approached him and asked if he knew Jesus. Surprisingly, the young man said yes….. Then he discovered that "J" was a secret believer, an Orthodox Jew studying at a Yeshiva in Jerusalem who thought he was the only Jew in the world who loves Yeshua!
….I was invited to speak at (Hooman’s) 19th mural unveiling near S'derot and Gaza…addressing some of the 1000 pastors who were recently brought over to Israel. I'm so grateful for the connections with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many new friends of Israel from the nations! . . . . When I was invited to help lead worship at the OCEANIA SUMMIT in Australia this February, Adonai gave 3 dreams to confirm the calling. Then He opened doors to minister there and in New Zealand. . . . We bless and thank you all for your love, prayers and support as we enter an Eccl. 3 season of war and peace - a time to build up and a time to tear down. We pray for you all in the nations that are raging, that you will receive divine strategies for how to pray for your nations as you stand with us in Israel. We also thank you for lifting up the Tree of Life Israel team, which now includes 16 evangelists, 13 of whom we participate in raising salaries for! Partner with us

As “Israel was drenched with torrential rain. Heavy winds, rushing water, and soaking storms swept across the country,” the Revive Israel team said, “It felt like more than weather; it felt like a reminder that God still sends rain in His time, and when He does, it comes with purpose and blessing. As the Land drank deeply, our hearts could not ignore the parallel unfolding across Israel.
This nation has walked through fire, grief, and shaking. Yet just as the rain breaks through hardened ground, God is breaking through hearts. We are seeing it every day. People are more open, more honest, more willing to ask deep questions about life, faith, and hope. The storm has prepared the soil, and we are moving into a new season.. ..(speaking of the latest discipleship program) “One participant shared this powerful testimony: “During the discipleship time, God showed me where I truly am and began working deeply in my heart. He showed me my real condition and gave me tools to change. God spoke to me through His creation, and I realized just how much He loves me.”
This is the kind of heart-work that only God can do. And we are humbled to witness it. . . . Like the rain that makes growth possible, God is moving quietly yet powerfully, renewing hearts from the inside out. Your partnership is part of this harvest.

Remember to pray for the Katzir Youth Camp that started Thursday Dec 18-21st. 100 teens registered for the desert cam in Ein Gedi put on by Fields of Wheat. Here is the Devotional Guide they will be walking through during this camp on the life of David – follow along with them and pray over them as you go. The Israeli Ministries go through everything that all other Israelis do – like wars. But they also go through special stress because of their faith. That is what Avi Mizrachi is speaking of this week: “, we also faced persecution from our own people. Our landlord was pressured by anti-missionary groups and refused to renew our lease, placing us once again in a position of rebuilding.  The truth is this: Unless we own our own space in Tel Aviv, we will always be vulnerable to losing our ministry home.
For 40 years, we have reached our own people from (Tel Aviv), and yet, repeatedly, we have been displaced because we do not own the property. We are so thankful that the Lord has provided a new location and the resources to renovate it. (and the new ) landlord notified us that he is now willing to sell the property to us….With renovations now complete, this is the moment to purchase the space for our offices, congregation, prayer tower, and Shelanu TV. this window of opportunity to purchase our permanent home is only open until January, and we need approximately $2.2 million to secure it. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us at Dugit Outreach Ministries—for such a time as this? Your support can impact this ministry and God’s work in Israel for generations to come. Please Give.

One New Man Reuven Doron writes “.[the first} Hanukkah took place during a tremendous historical global movement centering on the land of Israel; a global storm of ideas and convictions in which the Jewish nation had to find its courage to confront a powerful force that was rapidly sweeping the entire world, seeking to eliminate all mention of the One True God. Sounds familiar?.... The same spark that was ignited then continues to ignite the miracle of Hanukkah, the good fight of faith, from age to age!.... There is nothing new under the sun but the love and the mercies of our Heavenly Father. The rest is the same as it has been from the beginning. A faithful remnant standing against a global flood of evil who seeks to silence the voice of truth. Who wins the celestial battle? Come, celebrate Hanukkah with the embattled people of Israel, and share the victory of faith that is promised to all of God’s children. Tikkun Global VIDEOs with Asher Intrater: The Root of All Spiritual Evil and The Key to All Spiritual Success and Executor of the Wrath of God by Asher Intrater | “Many of the Jews misunderstood Yeshua at the time of the first appearance. Many Christians will likely misunderstand Him at the second. This is no longer a matter of theoretical theology. We are crossing into the end times, and we need to have an understanding of the end times’ Yeshua.” Plus VIDEO with Ariel Blumenthal - Hanukkah and the Testimony of Yeshua: The Spirit of Prophecy

David’s Tent, Avner Boskey writes: From the River to the Sea - What do these woke protestors mean by this sinister slogan? | In All Their Afflictions, He Was Afflicted - He Who Hates God, Hates His People | When Santa Visited Israel – Tradition! Tradition! | and Hanukkah - the clash between Maccabees and the armies of WOKE where Avner writes, : "Hanukkah is actually a delayed Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot).”  To me (Donna) this speaks to the times we are in before the full unifying of God's people both Jew and Gentile in the faith of Messiah.
Also: If you have had difficulty in the last 2-3 weeks in donating or purchasing from the David’s Tent website – they have been updating the site, so please try again now. “If you have not received an electronic acknowledgment for donations or purchases in the past few weeks. . .please let us . . .we will make sure that you receive one posthaste.”

Leon Mazin of Return to Zion Center in Hafia gives us the problematic going forward part of Hanukkah story: “According to the Torah in ancient Israel there should be distinct positions of King, Priest, Judge, and Prophet. If the balance between these roles was maintained, the Lord was present among the people, and harmonious governance of the nation brought the fruits of a blessed life!  The issue was that the Maccabees, or rather their descendants, who according to the GENEALOGY were sons of Aaron and were supposed to maintain the Priesthood in holiness, also seized the royal power in Israel, concentrating in their ‘own hands the two offices’—that of king and priest. This led to the weakening of Israel – it was conquered by Rome; Israel was ruled by kings such as Herod, who were Idumeans, but not Jews; corruption among the Priesthood had spread extensively and many other problems occurred.
Unfortunately, the balance of governance in Israel today has hardly changed…. The main cause is that those in pursuit of power increasingly attempt to usurp authority and dominate. I write this not to discourage, but to inspire you to pray—to intercede for Israel before the Creator!!. . .Hanukkah was a great victory of God and His help in the sanctification of the Holy Place. But the subsequent responsibility for governance rests upon the people—their conscience, their spirit, and their ability to perceive and stand in the Truth. This is a timely lesson for all of us.

In the Kerem-El (God’s Vineyard) congregation there has been a change in the Pastoral leadership as Jonathan steps away, and two elder couple from HaCarmel come in to assist Stefan and Keren Silver in their leadership of the congregation. This has been planned over months after Stefan was able to return from his IDF Reservist duties during the war. The Silvers writes that after much prayer the couples to come into Kerem-El eldership positions are Philippe and Liora, and Tim and Elisabeth. They had already been well known by our community, so their joining is very natural and has happened smoothly over the past couple of months.” Currently the congregation is celebrating Hanukkah, increasing the frequency of Shabbat fellowship dinners, holding baptism events and relaunching the life groups which had to be shut down due to war. Please keep this congregation, a daughter of HaCarmel congregation, in prayer and consider becoming a partner – prayer and financial partners needed. Donate here, or more giving options here.

Moti Cohen of Tiferet Yeshua congregation highlight the Feed Tel Aviv ministry they do on the streets for addicts and others in deep distress: Leaving the 99 for the 1. “Israeli media has been reporting statistics that we’ve seen firsthand on the streets in Tel Aviv for months – Israel is in a full-blown mental health crisis. Soldiers who served grueling tours for months on end in Gaza and Lebanon, leaving families and jobs behind, are returning home with untold trauma. Many are turning to drugs and alcohol to deal with symptoms of PTSD. And it’s not just our war veterans and their families: the average Israeli has just been through the two most traumatic and difficult years in the history of modern Israel. Not surprisingly, we are seeing more people in desperate situations at our Feed Tel Aviv outreach, more expressions of anger and violence, but, most of all, we are seeing more people who are desperate for love, comfort and support, who want prayer and encouragement and who are open to the gospel.
Yeshua gave us the example – leave the 99 for the 1. Join us in leaving the 99 for the 1: your gift today will enable us to continue searching for sheep lost in darkness where the light of God’s love shines brightest! Give Today

House of Prayer & Exploits in Nazareth, Rania Sayegh: “As we approach the culmination of another remarkable year, our hearts are full of gratitude for all that the Lord has blessed us with. Arrows 2025 Dec 12 Hanukkah | Christmas: Don't fight over it - Honor Him in both!

This will be a FIRST for me, but I have decided to take the last two weeks of December off, so I will not be putting out the weekly prayer lists after Dec 19 again until Jan 9th. Most years I have worked right through but this year I want to spend the time resting in the Lord’s guidance for me in 2026. I need to make some changes to get better delivery of my prayer letters and I want to make my reach greater.

At 74 I realize there is a limited amount of time left in my life and I want to make the most of it in fulfilling this calling towards the Israeli ministries. Really it is a calling not only to them, but also to international Christians who will only benefit from awakening to their spiritual brothers and sisters in Israel.  I believe this awakening to be among the most prioritized visions of God in the days ahead – bringing the unity of our common faith in Yeshua/Jesus with Messianic Jews and Christians embracing each other as family. It may look like the total opposite to the naked human eye – it sure does to me! – but to the eye of the Spirit, this is what God’s eyes are fixed upon.
I would deeply appreciate and love the prayers of the saints for my two weeks of rest and seeking God’s direction in how best to fulfill the ministry He led me into.  Donna Diorio

Arrows from Zion

I always love what Howard Bass of Yeshua’s Inheritance in Beer Sheva says around this time each year and that is because he says thing like he has this week: “For Hanukkah, we will light the hanukkiah, the 9-candle lamp stand, and will light all of the candles each of the nights. The true Light has come, and all else pales. God bless you all during this Christmas season, sanctifying the holy dayto the glory of the God of Glory! I know that not all of you will agree with that, but long ago the Lord convicted me of having wrong reasons for rejecting the most amazing world-changing event yet to overthrow the pagan empires of this world against the righteous and holy Kingdom of God. We will have our Christmas service on Dec 20.”
Now isn’t that a beautiful spirit? And so is this: “On Sonday, the 21st, we will go again…to a Palestinian evangelical church in Bethlehem, which is not particularly favorable towards Israel, for their Christmas service, with a banquet lunch following. It is important for them, and for us, that despite these last two years of terrible war and propaganda, to know that there are genuine brothers and sisters on each side. To God be the glory in the face of Jesus Christ.
Here again is the link to my "timeline" of Yeshua's birth.
Many other good things have been unfolding in this congregation and I would invite everyone to enjoy the great wisdom and good heart of this congregational ministry letter. To subscribe to the monthly email or to get donation information.

Avi and Chaya Mizrachi, founded a congregation and the Dugit Outreach ministry in Tel Aviv 30 years ago. They passed the congregation over to the next generation, but are still at the helm of Dugit, the ministry outreach among other things like Shelanu TV and a Tel Aviv prayer room. Avi writes this week about the celebration of Hanukkah when “they rose up against a powerful empire that desecrated the Temple and demanded that the Jews worship another god.” It was “because the Maccabees refused to bow to idolatry and compromise.” It is a celebration of light overcoming the darkness, and really that is the reason we Christians celebrate Christmas, because the Light of the world was born.
Avi writes, “Israel is once again living in tension with darkness pressing in. Our army is on high alert, and the number of rockets aimed at Israel, lying in wait for another attack, is growing. Even when the world says “ceasefire,” the war has not stopped. Hamas is still firing at our soldiers in Gaza. Our son-in-law, who is also the leader of our Congregation, is still serving in Gaza. The pressure is real. The message of Hanukkah for today is crystal clear: When darkness rises, we bring light. | When deception spreads, we speak truth. |  When fear increases, we choose faith.”…. . As we celebrate Hanukkah, may we remember: God’s light prevails. God’s truth prevails. God’s love prevails. With hope and determination.
     “
We at Dugit feel more strongly than ever that we must stand firm—not only spiritually, but physically. This is why securing a building that we own in the heart of Tel Aviv is so important. A place where:  No one can remove us or shut our doors | No political pressure can silence the Gospel |  And the light of Yeshua can shine freely in a city that desperately needs hope. To stand with the Mizrachi’s in this critical undertaking, please go here to deliver an end of the year blessing.

The Revive Israel team writes, “Israel  Is Entering a New Season—Stand With Us in 2026 After two years of war, heartbreak, and global isolation, people across the nation are searching for healing, meaning, and hope. Hearts are open in ways we have not seen in years.  At Revive Israel, we believe this is a prophetic moment, a time when God is turning hearts back to Him and to one another, just as Malachi promised. In the shaking, many Israelis are asking, “If the world isn’t with us… who will help us?” Our answer is simple: The Kingdom is with you. And so are we. As we step into 2026, we are focusing on a renewed vision of discipleship, family restoration, healing, and daily Kingdom life lived out across Israel. Your partnership helps make this possible. Follow this link to see our team & ministry grounds  This is a unique window, full of prophetic possibility and promise. Your year-end gift strengthens the work God is doing right now in Israel.

Daniel & Shirya Yahav write from Tiberias, the Peniel Fellowship that they are seeing continued growth – new families with youth and children. (This is a small excerpt from a mostly positive longer letter, but so important to pass along to my subscribers) “Along with all the good things God is doing, we feel the fierce spiritual battle that is going on. A very vivid reminder was one day as we returned home from another court hearing concerning the case of the defamation lawsuit we have mentioned before. Upon arriving at home our daughter rushed out of the door yelling "there is a snake in the house". We rushed out of the car and indeed there was a snake about 80cm (31 inches) long crawling up the stairs. It tried to sneak and hide but we managed to finally catch him. It was so very symbolic of the nature of the battle we are engaged in. Pray with us for God's victory over the deceit also in this matter. More Prayer Requests: Please continue to pray for the salvation of God's chosen nation. For those who are seeking to find the true and living God, and not be satisfied with dead religion. For God's protection from the continued threats from all our enemies around and within.”

Ronit Bender who is out of the Carmel congregation writes, “This spiritual awakening is happening. I don’t know what you hear on the news, probably not this, but it’s been in a number of articles here. Let’s pray that just as God blinded their hearts from the time of Isaiah, now, He will open their hearts, so they will “understand with their hearts, and return (repent!) and be healed” (Isaiah 6:10). . . . I have fond memories about how much easier it was in Australia to share the Good News and lead people to the Lord. In Israel it is so different, but the Lord did not promise us an easy life, He promised to see us through as we depend on Him at all times. . . .It blesses my heart to see the eyes sparkle and hope returning to the one who was hopeless.  All the GLORY goes to the Lord! This is a great opportunity to thank you for all you have done this year. Whether praying for me and with me, helping with finances, or sending words of encouragement, a hug or a smile. The Lord called us - you and me to be the "one new man" for a reason. In January it will be 12 years since Tom left the earth. They have not been easy years, but God's purposes and plans have materialized and solidified in them. By your obedience, I was able to do what I have been called to do, with you the "share holders" of Heavenly treasures.” To send a year end blessing to Ronit: Please email Ronit for full details or PayPal trbender@gmail.com

David Silver of Out of Zion ministries in Haifa writes about his bout with a severe depression that left him unable to continue on these past couple of years with his ministry duties. I would just like to thank David for having such courage to be so transparent with what he experienced, and also for the wonderful reminder that when God embraces us, no matter what, He continues to love us through it all. I was especially touched by all that David wrote because of my own two year experience in the late 1990’s as I had to climb my way out of an abyss of spiritual oppression because my cup of bitter unforgiveness had filled to overflowing. I know first had it is hard to be transparent about that because although God may be forgiving, other believers often aren’t. But when you press into God in these situations, He repairs our brokenness – like a cracks in a vessel now sealed with gold, we can emerge with an empathy for where so many broken believers and non-believers stand. And not only empathy, but insight for them on how to be healed. You will have to email for David’s letter. It is too long to share here, but God bless you DAVID for having the courage to write openly!

Guy Cohen who leads the Harvest of Asher congregation in Acco put out such a wonderful word that I wanted you to be able to read in full, so I just posted it on my Facebook page: Dreams from God Do Not Die.

Avner Boskey of David’s Tent is out with a new piece on the protest slogan From the River to the Sea. “Rage-filled shouts, the beating of drums, violent marches and cries for destruction of the Jewish state – these Nazi-like manifestations are now commonplace today. . . . According to the God of Israel’s prophetic viewpoint, ‘From the River to the Sea’ does not refer to an imaginary Arab Palestine. It actually refers to a Greater and Messianic Israel. Today’s anti-Semitic marchers are championing a counterfeit prophetic vision.”

Fields of Wheat’s Joel Jelski who is the director for the Katzir Youth Camps writes for prayer support for the 100 teens they have coming for the Hanukkah Katzir/Harvest camps that get underway shortly in “Ein Gedi, a well known biblical site where David hid from Saul in the Judean desert…. Over the course of the camp, our teens and leaders will explore the key stages of David’s life. During the daily small group discussions, we’ll dive into his Psalms—discovering lessons about a life devoted to intimacy, faith, and trust in God through different seasons of life.” Not only that but they have supplied the Devotional they will be going through during the camp so you can read along and intercede with them while the camp is taking place: December 18-21. Joel writes, “Thank you for being an essential part of this camp. We know that we will see God move in significant ways in the lives of the teens because of your faithful prayers for them.”  To partner with Fields of Wheat

Arrows 2025 Dec 6 You Have Purpose!

Many are putting up holiday decorations, buying presents and planning festivities. Instead of that, I am wondering what my next steps are, and I’m waiting on God to hear what His vision is for me in 2026.
As for the Israelis ministries, this is also a time spent thinking on everything that took place in their ministries, and seeking God for the vision to set in the coming year. We don’t know what is coming but He does. He has a path for us all to continue to move closer in step with His vision for us.
December is also a month of generosity. Let us be generous as we read the visions of each of the dear Israeli ministries doing their spiritual ministry to their countrymen as so many are desperate for the Answer for their lives. Forget “Giving Tuesday”   I am declaring the whole month of December the exact right time for generosity towards the Israeli ministries covered in these Israel prayer letters!

Arrows from Zion
Summarized from the Weekly Summary of Prayer Requests Israeli Ministries

Israel Pochtar’s great word on the life of Samson is a so encouraging: “God works with real people — people who have strengths and weaknesses, moments of victory and moments of failure, and yet remain part of God’s plan.” And it’s a word shared on VIDEO: You have a Purpose |He knew your story before you were born. He knew your personality, your strengths, your struggles, and the challenges you would face. His purpose for you didn’t begin the day you “got serious” about faith; it began long before…” | Pochtar has great purpose himself – “Building Revival, Transforming Lives — What God Is Doing in Ashdod & Jerusalem | We’re watching God open amazing doors across Israel — in Ashdod, Jerusalem, and beyond….VIDEO: A God Given Vision Coming Alive in Ashdod  and New Life Growing in Jerusalem Read about our discipleship followup meetings each week in Jerusalem…. One recent evening painted a beautiful picture of just how powerfully God moves in these moments. Read here

Reuven Doron’s letter  in full:  "Now these are the nations which the LORD left, that He might test Israel by them, that is, all who had not known any of the wars of Canaan. This was so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, those who had not formerly known it. Namely, the five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who dwelt in Mount Lebanon ... And they were left, that He might test Israel by them, to know whether they would obey the commandments of the LORD, which He had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses…” Judges 3:1-4
Warriors - 50 Years Apart | by Reuven Doron | On my way out from seeing my doctor this week I stopped for a cup of coffee to shake off the pharmaceutical air. At the coffee shop outside the clinic I ran into this young warrior named “Or” (“light” in Hebrew). The insignia on his military T-shirt caught my attention since it was very similar to the insignia of the special forces unit I served with when I was in active duty (many moons ago) Naturally, I started a conversation which ended up in a heart-felt exchange, Bible study, and a Spirit-led discussion.
“Or” is serving in an elite IDF unit that is the equivalent to the American SEAL team, and is a very competent and highly trained young warrior. His heart was well connected to the intense reality of our days and to the personal commitment being required of him and of his comrades to serve and to sacrifice. Naturally, we had plenty of “war stories” to share. I was actually surprised that he was very familiar with the legacy of my old military unit that, for those who are familiar with Israel’s war history, had become the story of legends.
We talked about God’s calling for our Hebrew nation to serve the world as a divine witness of heaven’s heart (through good and bad). We talked about our turbulent and heartbreaking 4,000 year history from the days of Father Abraham until today. We talked about the inescapable necessity of war, and how our God calls each generation of Israelis to be willing and able to defend our calling and God’s promise to live in the land He gave us. We talked about the Bible and the urgent need for God’s Spirit to illuminate God’s Word and open our eyes.
We shared these ancient words of life as I “passed the baton” to this young lion whose turn has come to wage war in this generation, facing overwhelming odds and global disapproval. Israel is surrounded by 22 hostile Muslim nations who’s entire narrative for the last 75 years has been to annihilate us. It’s “God or bust,” and this young warrior, “Or”, knew it very well.
With about 50 years of age difference between us, we found ourselves bridging generations of Israeli warriors who answered the call and went to war to protect the promise. Within our combined 50 years of military history, Israel has had to fight eight defensive wars on seven fronts, and I assured “Or” that this will not change until the Lord returns to deliver the final victory and establish His Kingdom on earth.
Contrary to many of his generation who might be tempted to sell their soul for a “fake and compromising peace,” “Or” understood and embraced this truth as we looked into the scriptures together. The key verse of our “divine appointment” was the one quoted above from Judges chapter 3:1-4
The context of Judges 3:1-4 was Israel’s failure to conquer the entire Promised Land and cleanse it from Idol worship in the days of Joshua. By the time Joshua had died, only portions of the Promised Land were actually cleansed and occupied by the Hebrew nation. A new and compromised generation of Israelites had grown up who were more dedicated to enjoying God’s provision and the “good life” in the Promised Land rather than to keep on fighting for the fulfillment of all of God’s promises. Does this sound familiar?
As we wrote in the past, according to apostolic doctrine, Israel’s dealings are a “TYPOS,” a divine example for the elect of God around the world. Paul wrote to the Corinthian disciples concerning Israel, “Now all these things happened to them as examples (TYPOS), and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” (I-Corinthians 10:11). Israel’s experiences become the TYPE and the PATTERN for the Church to learn from. Tragically, only a remnant seems to discern and understand this principle in order to internalize and learn from our examples, even today.
It was to that compromised generation of Israelites that the Word was given, saying, “… these are the nations which the LORD left, that He might test Israel by them, that is, all who had not known any of the wars of Canaan. This was so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war…” The WARS OF CANAAN are still upon us, even as the war for the fulfillment of all of God’s promises is still upon the True Church who is engaged in the “good fight of faith” all over the earth. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, and every born again child of God is in a battle over their destiny, their family, and their nation. Even you… Israel is your TYPOS.
We love peace and pray for it daily even as we pray for our enemies, but the Word of God cannot be nullified, twisted, or avoided. Trying to do so generates worse results than the hardships and pain of open conflict. Personally, I’d rather die in FAITH than live in DOUBT, and we pray the same for you.
Israel, according to the words of our prophets, was raised up to life from the graveyard of our long and difficult exile among the nations. We are Ezekiel’s Dry Bones, and God’s providence has gathered us from the four corners of the earth back to our desolated and abused homeland. Here we stand today, rebuilding the ancient ruins; restoring the age-old devastations; raising our little ones to keep the faith; training our young warriors to wage the necessary wars; and waiting on the Lord’s promised salvation.
“It’s a good life; difficult, but rich with purpose and full of meaning. We pray the same is true for you. Will you stand with us and share in the fight for the fullness of God’s promises?
The work of the Gospel in Israel is like plowing a tough and rocky ground that has been hardened over thousands of years of spiritual draught, rejection, persecution, and hardships. The VEIL that covers the heart of Israel from recognizing our Savior can be removed only by God’s Spirit.
Please pray with us to this end, and consider partnering with us in our witness to our people and in our labor of prayer, as we increase the creation and production of HEBREW OUTREACH PROGRAMS that are aired on social media platforms throughout Israel. Leon Mazin of Return to Zion congregation in Haifa wrote: “In October at the Return to Zion Center: "A team of believers from Texas came with willing hearts to help us cover the patio with a pergola. And on Shabbat, Pastor Greg shared a word of encouragement with our Congregation. A faithful team from Japan also joined us in the Shabbat gathering. We were likewise visited by a wind orchestra from the United States, together with worshippers from Paraguay, whose music poured out like a refreshing stream—bringing comfort, uplift, and delight to our souls. Yet above all these blessings, the most meaningful event of this season is the Alef Course for those who do not yet believe. Many recent repatriates who have come to Israel from the countries of the former Soviet Union consider themselves atheists, holding only the faintest idea of God the Father and His Son, Yeshua. God calls us to share this truth with them, and so we turn to you with a heartfelt request: please pray for the guests attending the Alef Course." Revive Israel, which was formerly Asher Intrater’s personal ministry, is now an independent ministry under the leading of Youval and Valerie Yanay. They are majoring in discipleship programs that is carried out on their farm-to-market enterprise that is also an outreach to the surrounding community  as they hold weekly farmer’s market. Outreach and discipleship is the primary ministries, but they also serve other Messianic ministries in Israel doing guest preaching, teaching, worship. This is a full-time ministry! So it was good this week hearing that as part of their current discipleship group they were able to retreat to the desert for “a place of quiet, simplicity, and deep encounter with God. We set aside intentional time for solitude, giving each participant the space to meet with the Lord personally, and the testimonies that emerged were powerful. One young participant shared: “I was nervous about being alone with God, but He came and showed me His love.” Another said: “At first I thought it would be a long time alone with God, but once He began to speak and I finally stopped speaking, He didn’t stop. I realized I need to quiet down more often so I can hear His voice.” Someone else shared: “God answered questions I forgot I had even asked. He encouraged me in ways I needed and didn’t expect.” These testimonies are precious because they remind us of a simple truth: only a real encounter with God can truly transform a life….…. May we all remember His faithfulness, even in dry seasons, and give thanks for His goodness, especially when we feel like we are standing in the desert. Please continue standing with us in prayer for the participants and for the team. To give a year end donation click here

Tents of Mercy is led by Avi and Hannah Tekel, the daughter and son-in-law of Ohalai Rachamim founder Eitan Shishkoff, who passed the baton to Avi several years back, focusing entirely on the equipping of youth he had pioneered years earlier with the Katzir (Harvest) teen camps. Avi, who is an Ethiopian Jew, brought a new facet to Tents of Mercy, which because of Eitan’s expertise in Russian, already had become a great outreach to the many, many Russian Jewish immigrants in Israel. Avishalom writes about the annual family Sigd Ethiopian Jewish holiday journey – Sigd being much like the American Thanksgiving holiday, only 100 years older. This year the family couldn’t go to Jerusalem but celebratedon Mount Carmel - a high place. In fact, our favored spot is Mukhraka, the site considered to be the location of the famous battle between Elijah and the prophets of Baal happened…. While looking out over the vast valley and seeing the surrounding mountain tops, we did the same thing generations of Ethiopian Jews did before us, only in the reverse order - we acknowledged with reverent thanksgiving the sovereign God of the universe for bringing us back to the Holy Land of our Forefathers, and we prayed with longing and intercession for the peace of Jerusalem! May you also remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as you come before Him with Thanksgiving!”  To give

Moti Cohen leads Tiferet Yeshua in Tel Aviv. Their letterIsrael - the Testing Stone of the Nations” is so accurate: “In the last two months we saw the Trump-brokered “Gaza peace plan” bring the active phase of the war in Gaza to an end and secure the release of our remaining live hostages. For the first time since October 7th, Israelis are starting to process what happened and where we are now. One thing has become soberingly clear: The war is not over. In fact, it may be just now getting started. Battle lines are being drawn…over Israel and the Jews. Thinly veiled antisemitism on the left is something we have come to expect, unfortunately. But blatant Jew hatred on the right, from professing Christians…this is a disturbing new trend that is developing quickly, particularly in the US. Extreme anti-Jewish hate speech has been normalized, on the left and right. In general, violent rhetoric is being normalized too. Extremist ideas are raging in the under 30 demographic: If you have children or grandchildren under 30, chances are they are regularly exposed to or actively consuming extremist ideology. Christians who stand with Israel are in the crosshairs now too. That’s why Katy and Tamar decided to sit down and discuss these issues.” WATCH HERE  Thank you for standing with us and actively taking part - whether in prayer or financial support - in our labor of love in the land of Israel. Tikkun Global appears to be undergoing a deeper baton-handover as recent photos of the Tikkun Global ministry staff do not even have Asher Intrater in the picture. That speaks loudly that Asher is letting go more and more to allow the younger generation of leaders to step forward as “the face” of Tikkun. Now obviously Asher has not “retired” and is still involved, but in a different way it appears to my eyes than he has been in the past. Waiting to hear more about this. It is always a touchy thing at the time of a baton pass because so much of the following and reputation of a ministry is – at least in the mind of followers – all about the person who they grew to love and cherish leading the ministry. But it is just like parenting, you instill the values, ethics and vision of the ministry, and at some point let them fly with it. As a parent, it doesn’t mean not getting back into their business when you see a harmful divergence from those values. Of course, we realize Asher is not the type to lie down in an EasyBoy and do nothing. So it will be good to see what he does next too.

Chaim Malespin writes: “
Last week was incredibly challenging. Between serving in the army, in multiple fronts, running both the Aliyah Return Center and Faithful Galileans, filming new content, supporting my family, and even receiving a surprise invitation to speak at the Knesset, I’ve been feeling pretty stretched!.... I’m especially thankful for your prayers and support during this challenging season of war. TODAH RABA! (Thank you very much in Hebrew) I pray that God will richly bless you for partnering with us. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you! Watch my Knesset speech here in English. Consider Partnering with Faithful Galileans – I share our vision here.

Evan Thomas of the Netanya Beit Asaph congregation wrote: “     With each prayer report these past two years we have emphasized how socially and politically divided the nation is. Our enemies saw this as a sign of weakness and an opportunity to attack us. We now know how that turned out for the peoples of the region! However, here is what we refer to as “divine irony.” While the nation continues to suffer from social and political division, under an intransigent government that openly tolerates very radical elements and the entire region continues to ‘boil’ in spiraling conflict, the local Body of Messiah presents a very different picture, a beautiful testimony of unity! In virtually every aspect of spiritual and community life, Arabs and Jews, Palestinian and Israeli Believers are ‘walking side-by-side’ at a level we have never seen before. This testimony is visibly significant in our frequent gatherings and conferences, in our manifold zoom prayer meetings week by week, in our public worship events and outreaches and in our financial support and advocacy for one another. We believe this is providing a powerful message of hope to our peoples.
Please pray that this testimony would only increase and spread. Pray too that our opponents, seeking to divide us, would not succeed (including certain elements within the Body of Christ!

Rania Sayegh of HOPE: House of Prayer & Exploits | Christian Arab prophetic intercessor in Nazareth writes: Could it be that in a time of shaking, God is forming something new in Nazareth?
